I had the pleasure of going with my wife to this restaurant recently. We were pleasantly surprised that the chicken and beef was halal. The food was fantastic and the service was even better. If you're looking for good food in Dorking, this is the place to go!

A little expensive, but good food

Such lovely and attentive people. They saw the opening of birthday cards and without prompting, provided an ice cream and sang happy birthday. Excellent food to top it off!

Stopped for a meal on the hottest day of the year we found the air-conditioning delightful we had the platter for two as a starter and a main course which was delicious great service. We would definitely go back.

Superb food and very authentic, we had one of the set menus, set B, which was excellent and plenty of it, 3 of my party are vegetarians and they had plenty of choice

I used to go here years ago and went back last night .. good news.. its still just as good as it was.. which is very good!. Its a family owned restaurant and food and staff are fantastic. We had the set menu and all dishes were lovely with beautifully balanced Thai flavours. I will only go here from now on when I fancy a Thai meal.

Had lunch at Sang Thai today, food, service and ambience are all excellent. Its reasonably priced also, with the food having much more flavour than some more expensive restaurants. Recommended.

We ordered a Thai from here, Tiger prawns weren't tiger prawns , all the dishes were lacking in flavour and ingredients. Overall highly disappointed not worth the money

Visited here on Saturday as a party of 12. Ken and his team were welcoming, friendly and efficient. The food was authentic, plentiful and excellent quality. We all had a very enjoyable evening. Will definitely return and would highly recommend to others !

We were all impressed with the lovely food and service. It was very quiet for a Saturday night though which is sad. I would just make a recommendation to freshen up the restaurant with redecorating. I think more people would dine in if the first impression was as good as the food and service. Keep up the good work.

Good food and excellent service. Good range of dishes and spice levels. All some pretty unique starters. There are a few options for kids on the menu as well as a set meal option for parties of two.

My husband and I had a lovely diner at Sang Thai on a Saturday night. It was busy however we got amazing and personal service, being served prawn crisp and water straight away while we were looking at the menu. The food arrived quickly and was delicious! The staff was vey attentive without being intrusive. I’d highly recommend this place for an authentic and satisfying dining experience.

The loveliest people EVER! And the food was amazing and such good quality and prices. If I ever need to get a takeaway or want to go out for dinner in/around dorking I will definitely go here and everyone else should too!!!!!

Best Thai food I have had outside of Thailand!! It is such a great place to go, might not look the best but trust me the food and service more than make up for it!!

Very nice takeaway from here. Very easy to order online and cooked really quickly (25 mins on a saturday night). Staff very friendly when we collected. Very tasty, I would definitely reccommend a Thai takeaway from here and will use again in the future.

Decent Thai food and service is always good. Our last take away was fine but the prices have risen so much that the value they used to offer has gone.

We went here for an early evening meal with our 8yr old and 6yr old children, we loved it, they loved it! The children were made so welcome, they can’t wait to go back. The food was delicious, a great selection and plenty of dishes not too spicy for the kids. Service was efficient and also friendly and thoughtful. We all can’t wait to go back!

Only put 3 for Atmos, because it was a Sunday and not a lot of people were in, the food was lovely the service was perfect and the orders/workers were brilliant and helped us pick things off the menu. A**

Visited this restaurant twice. On the first occasion the food and staff were great. The second occasion the food and staff were even better! Really recommend this restaurant if you enjoy authentic Thai food.

If you are looking for best Thai, come in here. The dessert options were not much also could taste better. Main course are fabulous

I had a nice meal here last night. I went for the Vegetarian Pad Pack along with Egg Fried Rice. Served on a hot plate it was a good meal for one. I asked for tap water and received a glass with ice, and the water was replenished. Tasty and good on the budget. Recommended

Very nice food and atmosphere! The Pad Thai is the best I've had in the UK so far. Really liked the prawn crackers as well. Service is friendly and helpful. 100% would recommend.

Lekker eten, super vlotte bediening. Aandachtige ober die ons met veel plezier bediende. Niets was hem te veel. Het was aangenaam druk, zonder dat we lang op ons eten hoefden te wachten. Lekkere (licht pikante) kroepoek stond klaar, achteraf kregen we een warm doekje om onze handen te reinigen en een lekker chocolaatje. Goeie prijs/kwaliteit.

Great food. I have not had as good a Thai meal in ages. If I lived within travelling distance I would go every week to this restaurant. Well worth a trip. I had hot spicy soup with prawns and duck curry with sticky rice. It's just a shame it's not in Sheffield.

The oddest Pad Thai I have ever eaten - wrong noodles covered in a tomato sauce, few bean shoots, no crushed peanuts etc. Pad Thai is such a Thai standard, should be impossible to get it this wrong.

Excellent Thai food, great service all at very reasonable prices

Food was average to my liking as I like really spicy 🌶️ food. Customer service was exceptional as staff is genuinely pleasant and aware. Exemplary service! Even though we ordered a take away, they kept us informed about the waiting time so we ordered drinks as waiting time was long. They gave us complimentary prawn crackers as wait time was more than average. They make you feel valued and staff is very genuine.

Second time I've been here with family. The food is always lovely and nicely presented. The staff are friendly and attentive. I can recommend.

Delishious food great value friendly staff

Been a few times and had takeaways, good service and lovely food , however put off my last meal by a hair in my food. Shame.

I don’t normally do Reviews but I feel like I need to this time. We have just moved to the area and this restaurant was recommended to us. We had a takeaway and the order was wrong so they changed it without a problem, I asked for them to change all of the dishes as they would be cold as we had to wait for the replacement dishes, they told me yes they will change them. When they brought the food out, I asked if they changed the other dishes and he said yes! I asked him again and he said yes…….however the dishes were not changed and it was very poor, the pad Thai was bland and orange? I have seen lots a good reviews so I’m surprised everything was so bad. I will not be trying this restaurant again only because the waiter lied to me about the food being changed.

Authentic Thai food in high street Dorking.

Great food and lovely service. Sang Thai is a regular for us and it is always excellent. The Sang Thai platter as a starter (for 2) is a favourite and the main courses are equally tasty. Drinks are reasonably priced.

First time here. Food was delicious however as soon as we had finished our pad Thais the bill was put on the table a couple of minutes later the server came to the table with the card machine. We were going to order more food, but weren’t even shown a dessert menu. Shame as food was lovely, customer service from this particular guy was awful. Felt completely rushed

Went here last night with a friend, we started with a pad Thai each, however when we had eaten that the bill was given to us. And then 2 minutes later he came across with the card machine, we completely felt like being chased out of there. We were going to order some more as it wasn’t very filling, not even shown a dessert menu. Shame as the food we had was very tasty but the customer service of the guy who served as was very poor. More customer service training for the guy who was working behind the bar last night at 6:30-7pm last night. There’s plenty of nice Thai restaurants around who make you feel welcome

Very nice mixed starter. Not cheap, £5 for a bowl of rice feels expensive but is probably standard fayre now. The two chilli dishes were v spicy and delicious. Overall I will be going back and will probably opt for the set menu so I get a bit of everything

Another fabulous Dorking restarant, amazing food. Really polite and friendly staff , nice ambience, prompt and efficient service and most importantly amazing Thai food.

We are fairly regular to this resturant just a short walk from our house. We either dine in or take away We have really noticed a drop in standards and portion sizes recently. I know things have gone up but they haven't gone up that much. I usually have the tamarind duck sauce very nice but some duck tender some duck tough which makes me think some if it was frozen and added in the cost of this one dish is 15.80 which is extortionate. I don't mind paying for something really nice but hmmm over the top. The portion sizes have really been cut as well. Service at the back of the resturant is not at attentive We usually just have tap water my wife doesn't drink so no point in me either and I find the moment we ask for tap water they don't like it. The wine is extremely expensive I recognise the pinot blush from lidl currently not even over 5 pounds yet sold here for 18 suggest you take your own and pay corkage and if they don't like it plenty more fish in the sea.......

Superb Pad Thai here and Chicken Satay! Traditional tastes and I recommend the Pad Thai spicy as it’s very on point from Northern Thailand tastes!

We had dinner at Sang Thai after it was recommended by a local as one of her favourite restaurants. The service was professional and friendly. The vegetarian options were delicious and the presentation excellent. Would certainly return and recommend Sang Thai. They have an interesting lunch menu too.

Delicious food with helpful and flexible staff. However, once the restaurant started getting busy the two staff on duty struggled to keep up with the orders - hence a bit of wait. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Have been eating here for more years than I care to remember, but always exceptional food. Visited again yesterday and had the best flavoured food in memory. So fresh and tasty, with friendly welcome and service to complete an enjoyable evening.

We found this restaurant when drinking at the next-door wine bar (where we weren't impressed by the menu). The welcome was fine and we were very pleased when we spoke to the manager about the menu, getting some advice and also being very flexible about what we wanted to order. The dishes we had were all delicious and we thought it was very reasonably priced so this is going to be our first choice now in Dorking.

I really enjoyed everything about this fab Thai restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent, beautiful presentation, good value and a very warm welcome. We visited on a Friday evening on the off chance and although busy, we were seated quickly. Great menu choices. Will definitely visit again and would highly recommend.
