Very tasty takeaway again last night, everything tasted very fresh. Especially like the Nava crispy chicken cashew. Request a delivery time of 8pm, food arrived on time and hot. Definitely our favorite Thai in the area.

Honestly? Really nice but can be perfect with minor changes. The Tom Ka soup is great with big chunks of lemongrass and ginger. Super fragrant. Absolutely no notes for that Nor the chicken satay which was absolutely brilliant - extremely thin chicken and a delicious char. The dim sum starter is, I believe, homemade? It was very unique with a black pepper taste. However, the wonton pastry did not adhere well to it. Consider making it parcels if you're making these in house, as they taste amazing but lack some structure. The Yam Nua salad was lovely but it would be improved with more coriander - there were only a few leaves topping the salad. A little less raw onion and more cucumber to offset the (delicious) spice would make the dish perfect. I'd not hesitate to order from here again. The satay and soup particularly impressed us!

Ordered the Pad Grapao with rice. The chicken used wasnt minced as a Kra Pao should be. It was sliced chicken which wasnt velveted which meant it was slightly on the drier side. The taste itself was very good. Just lacking in texture

My friend and I found this place by chance today. We decided to pop in impromptu for a quick lunch. The staffs were friendly and amazingly hospitable. The prices were reasonable. It cost £7.95 for the lunch special which consisted of a rice/noodle dish and a soft drink. I had fried rice. It was the perfect lunch.

Made the mistake of choosing this restaurant to order from for my birthday take away. Not only did they not deliver the drinks I ordered. But £2 evidently only buys you 6 mixed stale prawn crackers. The pad Thai smelt strange and the sirloin steak was microwaved. I ordered on Deliveroo who of course won’t refund and when I called the restaurant was told to take this up with Deliveroo and that they were not prepared to help. 3 meals and 2 starters with 1 rice cost £65! It would have been ok if it was cheap and nasty but it was just nasty. Avoid. I would have had more respect for the restaurant if they had not just told me to go away and speak to someone else when they were directly responsible for the quality of the food.

Not authentic at all. Had many Thais and this is probably the worse. Ordered pad Thai and pad prick pao, pad Thai was covered in a sweet and sour sauce? The main dish was supposed to be v hot but wasn’t spicy at all and was so oily it was not nice. First and last time ordering here.

WOW.. food is totally amazing. So indulged in food we forgot we was home eating. Highly recommended.

Ordered a take away order for a Saturday night treat after our weekly food shop. The food was ready on time and it was only when we served the food up at home that we noticed the Pad Thai had a Smokey smell to it which was unusual. When eating we realised some of the chicken had been burnt and the noodles were a darker tone. I phoned Nava to explain the issue but was surprised by the response as they did not really offer an apology and asked what I wanted, I suggested a free version next time I ordered. have a picture with some burnt chicken as the meal was spoilt and I don’t believe the response was genuine.

Fantastic dishes. Love this place.

Everything we’ve tried on the menu has been outstanding. Fast delivery, super fresh dishes, fish dishes have also been great. Just a shame they don’t have a restaurant.

Staying in an airbnb just down the road and decided to get a takeaway instead of a meal at one of the pubs. So pleased we did it was really lovely and fresh tasting.

Great experience at Nava Thai. We had crispy Seabass, prawn Pad Thai and Pak choi, all delicious!

Fantastic food. Treated my mum to a Thai from here the other day, I already knew how great it was but she could not believe how tasty it was. We had lots of starters & a couple of main dishes & we could not stop eating it. My mum wants another one now. I could honestly eat from here every day it really is so yummy. It has a 5 star rating & you can see all the cooking being done. It’s very clean & also it’s so quick to get your food. Treat yourself, you won’t regret it.

We have just had the most wonderful takeaway meal Nava thai Ashtead. I can’t single out a dish as it was all so good but the Nava crispy chicken delicious, the curry fantastic, chicken green curry was amazing, and the sweet n sour chicken the best I’ve tasted - oh and don’t forget to add the Honey chicken! and Tom Yum soup If you haven’t Nava thai tried yet, you are missing out!

For the last 20 years, I split my time between UK & Thailand. My Mrs is Thai and super critique and fussy about Thai food Nava Thai is a proper Thai place serving the best quality and authentic Thai food. IMO this is the best place in the UK 5 stars from me.... unequivocally

Not very impressed. Food took a long time to be delivered. When it did come, there actually wasn't that much of it, despite spending £40+. Thai green curry had only a few bits of chicken in. Stir fry prawn was quite limp. Generally was all quite bland or "not quite right". Pad Thai was overly sweet. Disappointed, given all the good reviews on here!

As a Thai, I would say they should do it better. We tried Pad Thai which is quite bland. Massamaun is salty. Chicken Kaprao is bland as well. I feel very disappointed.

It is almost impossible to find authentic Thai food in Surrey. We gave up trying a few years ago & as we spend a lot of time in Thailand, we decided we would only eat Thai cuisine in Thailand. However, we went against our unwritten rule, having passed the Nava many times when in Ashstead. We'd always resisted the temptation, until finally relenting because of the rave Google reviews & being unable to visit Thailand due to Lockdown. We made a huge & very expensive mistake. One thing about Thai food is it is intricate in the balance of the tastes. The food here is as intricate as a hammer falling on a fine Swiss watch.. Basically all the important fine ingredients are missing, the food is like a peculiar fusion of Chinese & Thai. The Tom Kha soup was a watery broth with a few prawns thrown in. If it had come from a tin that you'd paid a £1 for, you'd be shocked. This cost a whopping £7,45. You can always tell whether it'll taste any good by the type of mushrooms put in it. Yep, these were bog standard and old mushrooms. I wont bother going into the details of the other dishes, but they were of a similar low standard. My wife & I ate in silence, we both knew what the other was thinking. In closing, if you expect to get food that is remotely like Thai home cooking, resturant or even street food at the Nava, you will be sorely disappointed.

Great authentic Thai food, this is the best Thai we have had outside of Thailand green and red curry's are amazing and mixed starter we recently tried is also very good.

This is our first time ordering from Nava Thai and it certainly won’t be our last. The menu has loads more options then others and we were extremely happy with our choices. Fresh and delicious!

Great food, having been to Thailand many times I can say that the food here is authentic - using ingredients from Thailand too which really make it! This is the only place I'd go to for Thai and I've tried many in the area. Good service, yummy food, what's not to like? 😁

No idea where all these raving reviews have come from or what food they got served cos the food i was delivered was ok at best.. Crispy chilli squid was nice and satay. However starters especially satay chicken came with the tiniest pot of sauce which is the main element of the dish i would say. Also was a Bit disappointed that only 3 Cashew nuts in the crispy chicken and cashew nut dish and duck was very soggy and looked grey in the duck dish and sauce was so watery and bland! The spicy rice was so Spicy i couldn't eat it and had to chuck it away as all i could taste was the heat from the chilli and i like spicy food!

Ordered Nava Thai for my birthday and it was lovely. Arrived just when we ordered it for and was lovely and hot. They even threw in some banana fritters because it was birthday. Will definitely be ordering from them again.

Ordered the food for a home delivery via Uber eats. I ordered at 18:15. After 1 hour I have called the restaurant 3x and left voice mail messages, with no response. When it arrived, food was stone cold and I had to throw it away. However, the following day, I received a phone call with a heartfelt apology and explanation. Moreover a refund was issued and a credit note was given for the next delivery.

Pricey but good , wantons are good, gaeng parang is good. Food hygiene 5/5. For 10 quid would it kill you guys to have rice included.

In general the family was happy with the food, my green Thai curry beef was tasty. The broccoli side dish didn’t have much flavour and the rest of the dishes seemed more Chinese than Thai. The crispy chicken was well liked but again didn’t really taste Thai.

We had a take away last night. Waited for over an hour with delay. It wasn't worth waiting for. The food was awful, not authentic Thai food. I ordered a drunken noodle and it came with egg noodle but it supposed to be a rice noodle. Noodle was so dry. I throw 80% of them away in bin sadly and very disappointed.

I'm really shocked to see the level of reviews on here, sadly that was not the place I ordered from last night. The food was bland, the panang was like soup, easily the worst Thai I've had in the uk. I know it was a Friday evening, but it also took an hour and a half to turn up. I'm giving two stars as the lady on the phone, and the delivery guy were very happy and polite.

Absolutely delicious! We were so impressed with the quality of the food (particularly the Pad Thai), but on top of this the service was excellent. When ordering over the phone, I asked for no egg in one of the dishes and the person on the phone queried if I was looking for vegan food and proceeded to talk me through the different dishes that were vegan. Fantastic service and incredible food, would definitely recommend.

the third takeaway/pick up so first two were stunning authentic flavour with a pure intense heat with a great balance. the third aka tonight not so good previously ordered lunches perfect in every way with an easy collection. tonight we ordered and not gonna lie was very disappointed no heat at all the thai green was watery the remaining dishes were not up to heat. we had 65 pounds worth of food it was average unfortunately. the first two were the best I have had by takeaway with great flavours and a perfect heat balance they will both get 5 stars instantly. The lunch time deal is a good deal and one I have enjoyed. I really hope they are not the normal hit and miss :( I will try again as previously said it was amazing but tonight I wouldn't buy it again if it was the same. Yesterday was our 11 year wedding anniversary! Nava Thai delivered us an absolutely delicious meal. The food is not only authentic but always super fresh and delicious. The owners are always friendly! This is now my go to take away. Thank you.

I know it's this within the CV-19 lockdown and every person and they're dog wants a takeaway. Phoned up and ordered our first Thai meal ever, was told up to an hour. 1.10hr called and was told, it's not even being cooked yet, and will be at least another 30-40 mins. We got it 30 mins later. We have no comparison to compare our meal with, except other different takeaways in the area for value, customer service and taste. It was probably the most expensive takeaway in Ashtead. Main dishes are nice tasting, but basic ingredients, so wonder why it is so expensive. When phoned up, while the lady was professional, she was not very apologetic about the timings and asked me what to expect in such a time. She also commented about the delivery timings of other restaurants in the area. I can say from experience, that they are far more reliable, as tasty as (or more than, in some cases) and better value for money. Unfortunately if this is the benchmark for Thai cooking and service, I doubt very much we will be trying it again. We understand it's in unprecedented circumstances, but we will order elsewhere in the future. Kindest Regards..

Probably one of the worst take aways I’ve had in a long time. Food was just unappetising and not anywhere near what we had expected. Delivery was very long. Would not recommend ordering, we surely won’t be ordering again.

Love the food we had from Nava Thai - my favourite dish was the garlic pepper duck. Everything was freshly cooked and tasted great with good portion sizes. Can’t wait to order again.

How wonderful to have an authentic Thai restaurant in Ashtead! If you like Thai food, you'll love Nava Thai. This won't be our last visit!! Clean, fast, friendly and delicious. FYI if you are sensitive to spice, don't pick the dishes with the little chili symbols next to the dish in the menu, it is spicy! If you like spice like us, you will love the level of spice, it's perfect!
