Tuk Tuk Thai in Milton Keynes

We were really disappointed by the quality of the food for our second visit. Lychees were replaced by grapes in our duck curry. Obviously due to being cheaper. The duck was poor quality. The sauce was sloppy. The food is overpriced for what it is. We won't be back again.

1st time here and I can honestly say it was amazing from the starters right through to the mains fast friendly and efficient service will definitely be back!!!

It was a limited dish range only two options with 4 courses which we didn’t want. And no chance to share unwanted dish - MUST take two. It was not a service for people, but force to spend more money! Another restaurant saved our valentine day !

We really enjoyed our first trip to Tuk Tuk Thai. Friendly staff and really good food. Nothing to complain about as everything was great.

We’ve been here a few times and the food is consistently good. I’ve never written a review but felt the need to give a shout out to its staff who were amazing, especially a vibrant and cheerful young man who goes by the name of Game! A smile so warm and a personality to match. Nothing was too much trouble 😃.

I went there with two friends two days ago to have lunch before I went to work in the afternoon, ended up almost missed my shift at work and left with disappointments and discriminations. The food is really so so, main courses are too sweet when compared to those tasted in Thailand, I am quite sure you can find better pad-Thai in other Thai restaurants in Milton Keynes. One of the toast inside the sharing platter smell strange with a unfresh sour taste meat filling. The Asian waiter is good and friendly, but the Thai lady shop owner is not very friendly when we have questions about the how we can share the platter and also price. We ordered two main courses and a large platter, also mango with rice as the dessert from the very beginning, however, the dessert didn’t come until 25mins after we finished all the food. To be honest, the restaurant was not really busy, with half of the tables empty, and we arrived early. It is quite obvious that they missed part of our order and that’s why the dessert didn’t arrive on time. It is unacceptable that the lady shop owner are so rude, using BUSY as an Excuses without any Apologise which they missed our order, and refused to cancel the dessert (didn’t come) while we are running out of time going to work. We did mentioned that we prefer being served at the same time, Definitely will not going back to this restaurant again and do not recommend it, as we were so excited and happy when we came there but ends up being Discriminated. Are we supposed to be talk to someone who shout to you and give you long face when you spent 2hours and £20/head for lunch??? * No time to take photo of the mango sticky rice. *

The food and service were equally awful at Tuk Tuk in Fenny Stratford. We love Thai food and lived in Thailand for 6 years. This was the worst Thai food we have ever experienced. We were a party of 8 people and no one finished the food. The rice was served separately. 26 minutes after the main meal. The attitude of the waiter was the most unpleasant and aggressive we have ever experienced. Our children were crying because of the aggression and threatening behaviour of the waiter. We will not return to Tuk Tuk Fenny Stratford. Left my contact info with a request that the manager to contact me regarding my concerns. The manager has not responded. Our kids found some sticky substance stuck under the tables. No response from the staff so I have reported concerns to Milton Keynes Environmental Health.

Amazing restaurant just outside of Milton Keynes worth travelling too. Seated in moments with our a reservation (not due to lack of customers but possibly at the right moment with a free table). Food presentation was beautiful and it all tasted lovely. Reasonable prices and good selection to choose from. All manner of groups seen, families, older couples, groups of friends. I would go again but we live 4 hrs drive away and only in the neighborhood for the weekend. Definitely recommend!!

Tuk Tuk Thai is a great restaurant find on the outskirts of Milton Keynes. Brightly decorated with tables of different heights, staff in flowery shirts. It did feel like we were on holiday. We ordered drinks and a shared starter first but the drinks didn’t arrive until we were halfway through the starters after being prompted a few times. The mains arrived and we ordered a bottle of wine which also took a while to arrive. The food is fantastic and authentic, we had curries, pad Thai and noodles. The Tuk Tuk Thai rice dish is big enough for two people with plenty of meat in all our dishes. All in all a great place to eat if a little slow on drinks service. Will definitely return.
