Pin-Petch Thai Restaurant in Milton Keynes

Wow what a friendly restaurant and the food was so good. I had beef nassaman and my partner had a a tofu stir fry. The restaurant is kept very clean and that goes for the toilets too! The staff are very nice and to be honest you feel as though you’ve known them for ages even though we came up here from Kent. This is a restaurant I’d love to go to again and will try to find a reason to come up here again for another long weekend.

Me and my family had a wonderful meal at Pin Petch, the staff are so Lovely the two young boys are so polite and friendly and the food was Delicious. We will come back again.

Much better than it used to be Food was excellent we visited with someone who has lived in Thailand for 15 years and he said the Flavours were very authentic staff were very attentive helpful and polite all in all an excellent experience and excellent value

Had a great time at Pin Petch last week! The food was incredible, love the satay sauce and sweetcorn fritters. Portions were great and I loved the presentation. Thank you for such a great time. We'll be back again!

Went to pin petch Saturday night. Had an absolute fabulous meal . We were a little bit close to the front door, but apart from that, it was great. Would definitely recommend it, and we will definitely be going back. It wasn't cheap but the quality was there. Thank you for a lovely evening!!

Had good food well decorated seebass and Thai curry . The coconut rice was flavorless. and full mushrooms in Tom kha gai were a bit show down . But in general had good experience with fun filled staff and guests

It is always a real treat when I find a superb Thai Restaurant and this place firmly fits into this category. Great welcome from stall and attentive throughout. Food was excellent, plenty of flavour, dishes well prepared and great portions. There were four of us in our party and everyone thought the food was fantastic. I definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area.

I had an amazing time at Pin-Patch Thai! The food was spot-on, bursting with authentic Thai flavors, and the vibe was just so welcoming. The staff were super friendly too, making the whole experience top-notch. I can't wait to go back!

Had a vegan sharing platter and my friend had a fish ginger 🫚. The staff was very friendly, loved all the plants 🪴 and character of the building. We will definitely be back.

The first time I came here was with my family and we had a great time, the food was great especially the tom kha gai and green chicken curry. The staff are also very nice and the restaurant has a green enviroment.

Food is amazing! My favourite dish here is the Thai green curry with chicken. Recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of spicy food!

Overpriced food and not that great. Charged 30p for a tin foil small takeaway dish to take home what food was left. (They made money on this charge, too) I asked for a small bowl of sauce to put on my rice, charged £4.50 for that !!! Then to top it all off, when my friend and I split the bill and paid we were both asked by the waitress if we want to leave her a tip !!!! Won't be going there again - will stick to the Royal Thai in Stony Stratford, better in EVERY possible way. Overall, shocking !!!

I believe ownership has changed so perhaps the chefs have too. The restaurant has lost its previous charm with the team being rushed and unable to cope and no longer in the bright outfits we associate with Thailand. We arrived for 8, had to wait for the table to be dressed, then waited about 20 minutes for drinks orders to be taken. We had to ask for our food order to be taken at 845. You used to always be served complementary Thai crackers and dips on arrival but these are now chargeable. Although I understand the need to charge, I do think £3 per portion is expensive. We all had the sharing starter which is a good price and came out piping hot but then things slowed. The mains took over one hour after the starters, the pad thai was stodgy and not as warm as it could have been, the penang which we are used to being thick and creamy came out very wet more like a red curry. As it was now past 10 and we were hungry, we didn't mention it but on reflection we should have. I also found if off putting going to the bathroom and hearing an English gentleman raising his voice to the team in the kitchen and at the opposite end of the long corridor.

Stunning atmosphere, staff so welcoming and friendly. Food outstanding. Cannot praise this restaurant enough, best Thai restaurant in MK in my opinion. Don’t pass this one by

Extremly good! - beautiful, stylish ambience, lovingly decorated with some plants (you see them less and less) - extremely nice, polite and accommodating - Very attentive, the cook had overheard a conversation in which “vegan” was mentioned. Then, during the main course, she asked again whether the one egg in the recipe was OK. It was, I'm a vegetarian, not a vegan. - Very tasty food to the point

This is not Thai food. This is peppers and onions with meat and no flavour. The beef salad is nothing like Thailand. Save your money and try the Tuk Tuk in Fenny Stratford. Will not be ordering again. Can do this at home

We normally eat in the restaurant but decided to try a takeaway. Ordered the mains and rice but also wanted some plain noodles which was not on the menu but they said that was not a problem. When I collected the food I was charged over £8 for the noodles. They said that it was all computerised and as plain noodles was not on the menu they had charged me for a noodle dish from the menu as they could not override the computer!!!! Very disappointing, had we been told when we ordered I would have had rice instead. It is also sad that the computer over rides common sense and staff can't provide a service.

Ordered for takeaway using Uber eats. delivery was super quick, food was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. Staff were prompt and easy to chat to on the phone. Really recommend, lovely food and service!

Amazing food and the staff made you feel like one of the family. I order 7 items starter , mains and pudding the starters and mains I asked all at the same time. Food was pit on a hot plate so I had plenty of time to eat it all. 100% would come again. You know what I am coming back at the weekend.

Booked this restaurant based on the reviews, cannot fault anything about it. Booked a table for 2 to celebrate my Wife’s birthday. Staff very friendly, accommodating and attentive. Food was excellent, had I knew that I could have asked for more spice I would have as traditional dishes have been made milder for the British palate. The most authentic Thai I’ve had outside of Thailand, couldn’t recommend it enough. This wasn’t a problem for us but anyone with mobility trouble may struggle with access to the toilets as they’re located on the first floor.

We hired the whole restaurant for 50th Birthday and we had a brilliant night! The set menu was excellent, we had platter of starters to begin, followed by sizzling duck, red, green & jungle curry, vegetables in oyster sauce, rice & pad Thai noodles. It was so tasty, thank you! The service staff did a great job with the bar too, thank you!!

COELIAC ALERT!!! The restaurant mixed my food up and served me gluten despite asking several times. I went to Pin-Petch for a friends 50th who hired out the entire restaurant. They had many conversations on the lead up stressing the importance of coeliac. I am very sensitive to gluten and it’s extremely important that I do not have any cross contamination let alone an entire meal containing it. I asked two different waitresses if my meal was definitely coeliac safe and they reassured me. I explained that it wasn’t what I ordered but they said that’s gluten free so of course I ate it, I instantly felt unwell and told them it couldn’t be gluten free and they said oh yes sorry it’s vegan (I think they meant vegetarian). After eating a whole meal containing gluten I went home and have been feeling worse each day. There was no understanding of coeliac from this restaurant and there was no sympathy. I explained that gluten eats at my stomach lining and bones and that it shouldn’t be brushed off. I have never experienced anything like this before and this is my first ever review of a place. I have now had to cancel all my plans due to being unwell and not trusting to eat out. COELIACS please be careful.

Pin Petch is an incredible restaurant!! The food is amazing, the staff are really genuinely nice and the service is top notch. The price point is very reasonable for the quality of food. Potentially on the higher side for restaurants locally but absolutely reflective of the quality of dining! They even do a Sunday Buffet menu where you order fresh as much as you want from the menu for about £24 - perfect for those extra hungry days !!

Traveled most of Thailand eaten in good restaurants and had street food. For me this is a mediocre Thai restaurant the share starter was small Pad Thai lacked flavour and 5.00 for a small chang beer a little expensive unfortunately will no revist

Great food and great service. We were a mixed group of vegetarian and non-vegetarian yet we all had lots of dishes to choose from. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful without being overbearing. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would definitely recommend to others.

Pin-Petch Thai restaurant is a gem! The friendly and smiling staff create a welcoming atmosphere. The food, truly home-cooked Thai cuisine, is bursting with authentic flavors. I tried the som tam salad, homemade Thai fish cake, salt and pepper squid, and mango sticky rice – all delicious! I highly recommend this place for a taste of authentic Thai flavors and warm hospitality.

We have been coming to Pin Petch for the best part of 10yrs . It is our go to restaurant for our Anniversaries , Birthdays and meals with friends . Tonight my Hubby had Duck spring rolls for starters and a prawn green Curry for mains ; I had Salt and Pepper Squid then for Mains Pad Krapow Prawns ,Mussels and squid . We had Gelato for dessert and took an extra portion of salt and Pepper Squid home with us . All of it was delicious ! the Staff were lovely, friendly and attentive as always . Took my colleagues here Monday night for the all you can eat buffet and we weren't disappointed! It really is an 'all you can eat' buffet. Ive been to other buffets where they dont really like it when you make the most it but not the case here and in this current economy for £23.99 you really cant go wrong! All the dishes were always being topped up. We found the food to be very fresh and flavoursome. Having been to Thailand a few times and Ioving thai food, Id recommended anyone to try Pin petch if they'd like some authentic thai food. The service was absolutely great. The wait staff were very friendly and took very good care of us from the moment we sat down. Always made sure our drinks were topped up. Good variety of drinks and grey goose for a fiver! This is definitely my favourite new thai place now. I'll be coming back with family. Our overall cost here including drinks and service was very reasonable. Especially in todays market when the cost of everything has gone up and the cost of eating out has become so expensive. Great value for money. I highly recommend this place.

An excellent Thai restaurant, and having just tried their 'buffet', that was excellent too. It is more an 'order as many dishes as you want' from the (more limited than usual) menu than a traditional buffet, as all dishes are cooked fresh. Love this restaurant.

This was the first time that we visited Pin Petch, and highly recommended. The service was friendly and polite and Tikki, looked after us well. She was attentive and helpful, and helped us decide on our choices. The food was delicious and flavoursome and arrived quickly. Good to see a restaurant that was busy, and what seemed like a lot of returning previous customers. Will go back again and be slightly more adventurous with our selections!

Decided to try this restaurant owing to the high ratings. But what a mistake that was! Overall, a very disappointing experience. The service was mediocre. We asked for a second serving of chilli oil, any Asian restaurant would give you some as default, but here only after it was brought to our table we were told that we will be charged for it, and that only the first serving which consisted of a tiny spoon of chilli oil is free. Baffling. Starters were bland! Golden bags were basically plain chicken and vegetables stuffed in deep fried filo, zero flavour whatsoever. Salt and pepper squid was basically plain deep fried squid, again, zero flavour. The mains were highly disappointing. The fried tofu in the green tofu curry was clearly out of a packet and tasted medicinal. We ordered the vegetarian drunken noodles without egg, but it was served WITH egg, which we then had to send back. The egg fried rice was seriously over cooked, basically mush, and turned into a paste when eaten, which again we had to send back. The drunken noodles were ridiculously spicy and we couldn’t eat more than a couple of bites of it, and we were all Asians dining there with very high spice tolerances. And lastly, the sticky rice was served in a plastic bag… Once our food was served it’s like they forgot us. We sat waiting for someone to attend to us after the mains for a long time. Even getting the bill took ages after we requested it. Terrible experience overall. There are other Thai restaurants in MK which are 10 times better and far more authentic than this one.

This used to be good, Now its just offering uncooked vegetables in different sauces, which neither of them were good. They are only focused on getting the money from you, that is it.
