The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Thai food

We have been eating from here for years but will stop ordering from this restaurant due to how long it takes for the food to be delivered. Deliveroo advised no refund or compensation as they claimed it was the restaurant causing the 1 hour 15 minute delay.

Went on a week day evening, only one other table of people so nice and quiet. Restaurant nicely designed and staff very friendly from the moment we got there. Place easy to find despite all the traffic works going on ATM. We had the set menu for two as we couldn’t decide what to eat and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing 🤩 all reasonably priced as well. Big shout out to the young girl who was our waitress she was very professional polite and great at her job (sorry didn’t catch her name).

Ordered takeaways and was blown over by how good the food was. We had only veggie options with starters and mains and it was so tastey. Have already been back! The staff are so very accomodating and helpful.

Excellent. Knocked on door at 16:50 , wernt open until 17:00 . let us in . main restaurant was booked out but found us a table under tent at back. Food and service was awesome. I would happily return

Food was beautiful flavours and presentation good but the decor is a little dated could do with some nice furniture and a fresh look was very basic looking inside. The staff are intentive and friendly.

He estado aquí tres veces recientemente y en cada ocasión mis amigos y mi comida ha sido delicioso. Es un restaurante familiar sin pretensiones y me parece muy auténtico. Es uno de esos restaurantes tailandeses donde los platos tienen tanta variedad de sabores y especias que te llevas ángeles bailando en tus papilas gustativas.

Absolutely wonderful food, especially the vegetable satay starter. Helpful but unobtrusive service. Three full and happy customers this evening. Highly recommended.

Lovely meal at River Spice , service & staff were excellent, a pleasure to share the evening with them & the food was delicious.

Love the new decor since our last visit and the log burner made it really cosy on a cold winter evening. Good and varied menu, food was all very nicely presented and tasty included starters , lamb and fish mains and dessert. Service was good. A Thoroughly enjoyable evening , couldn't fault it!

We visited last night for a birthday. I was nervous as I cannot have fish or seafood, and most of the curries and noodles dishes contained it. However the lady serving said she would ensure it is done without which was really kind. It’s a lovely cosy restaurant. Food was nice. Highlight was the lady serving, she really went above and beyond. We had a birthday cake and she referred it to a cake stand and added strawberries and candles, it was so kind! We will be back! Thank you!

Chilli Basil has always been my go-to spot for Thai food—a cuisine I’ve loved all my life! The portions are generous, and while there can sometimes be a bit of a wait, it’s always worth it because the food is absolutely brilliant. I’ve ordered from here many times, and it’s become my comfort place—whether I’m celebrating something happy, feeling down, or just craving delicious food. The flavors are spot on every single time, and you can really feel the love and authenticity in every dish. It’s one of those places that feels like home, and I’ll keep coming back for more!
