The staff are very friendly and professional. A real taste of Thai, as the food is sublime. Lovely interior and if you ask the staff to teach you a few words of Thai, they are more than happy to oblige.

Wow! This place blew us away. We have been meaning to go for ages but from the outside it always looked quiet, however, you can’t see much from the outside. As we walked in yesterday, it was very busy… good and bad right? Good sign that it’s full but I was thinking it would take a while to get served, wrong! I cannot get over how friendly and efficient the staff were. All dressed in traditional Thai clothing. Friendly and helpful, the service was very fast and the food was outstanding. We had 2 starters and 2 mains and we loved every bite! We were unable to pick fault with anything and unable to pick a winning dish as all were equally tasty. We will be going back again soon. 5*

I very rarely give 5 stars, but I have to say that it was a most enjoyable experience at Phanthong, probably the best since they opened. I can't complain on any grounds.

Another delicious meal from this wonderful Restaurant. There is always such a lovely atmosphere. The staff were so busy, but they remain calm, efficient & polite at all times. Their prices are very reasonable too! We had 3 course each & 2 alcoholic drinks each all for £83! See you soon Panthong & thank you. 😀

Fantastic staff, very accommodating, my husband and I had not booked, it was a Saturday evening and we just wanted a main meal, we asked if they could fit a table for two, it was obviously a squeeze for them but after few minutes the lovely lady there fitted us in apologising that we could only have the table for an hour, that was fine for us as we only wanted a main meal. Food came quickly and was delicious. What lovely people, lovely food and well worth the price (2 mains, 2 drinks £30) bargain!

I eat here weekly and have found the food cooked to perfection. The staff are very friendly and remember my order and drinks. Pad Thai is as good as a recent visit of mine to Thailand, the satay chicken as good as I had in Malaysia. I have taken clients to this restaurant who were similarly impressed, as well as my wife too.

We made a last minute reservation for four, to celebrate a birthday. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. We liked the look of the buffet meal but decided on the a la carte. We ordered three of the starter platters between four - I’m known for pigging out on starters and being unable to finish a main course. The platters were definitely sized for one person, but we shared anyway. Hot plates were brought for the mains but there was a delay. We didn’t need to ask for the plates to be replaced - they were brought just as the mains arrived. The food was delicious and we ate every scrap! Then the surprise when a group of the staff came out banging drums to sing happy birthday and gave the birthday boy a free dessert. Two bottles of very good red wine recommended by the waitress went down as well as the meal. Not our first visit here, and the service and food is consistently great. Try the set lunch, or even better the Sunday buffet. You won’t go hungry!

Absolutely love this Thai Restaurant whe I come to visit Cheshire, with it's lovely friendly service, people and atmosphere. The Thai Food is great along with the lovely ambient lit venue. Definitely recommended.

Never once had a bad experience of this restaurant, food has always been amazing. staff are very smiley and attentive, nothing is too much trouble.

First time visit and was a great experience. The service was great. Learnt a bit of Thai and the food was lovely and tasty. Ended the night with a Phanthong cocktail which was delicious x would defo go again.

We had two course lunchtime meal for £14.95 per person, food was very tasty and excellent value for money, obviously not as much choice as the a la carte menu but you can order from that menu, if want to. All the staff were friendly and professional in their manner. The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated. Definitely worth a visit.

Had a green Thai curry but couldn't eat it as it was to spicy...one spoonful?? But the starters I had we're very nice apart from the fishcake thing was very strange...service was good as was the setting Not sure if I would go again 50/50

I've been a few times now. We have an excellent Panthong Thai in Wilmslow near is and we also travel to Sandbach to meet friends/family at the restaurant there. Food always superb and staff attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

Came from SE coast for wedding nearby. Dubious about trying Thai, didn't need the disappointment. Wow was I wrong great good, spot on , best portions I've ever had in a Thai. Gorgeous restaurant, fantastic service. Vegan choices were quite limited and quite worrying that the Vegetarian curries had fish paste in them! This is not vegetarian! Could not understand why the curries could not be made vegan (no fish paste)? Overall the vegan food we were served was delicious.

First time we have been here and came with friends for a get together meal. The surrounding was very nice and the ambiance was very good. We had drinks and the set menu and found the food to be delicious. All the staff were very professional and attentive. The only criticism would be that it is a bit expensive for what you got. I would recommend and we would return again.

Fabulous meal at Phanthong. Started with a refreshing Phanthong cocktail followed by delicious starters - king prawn skewers and mushroom skewers with satay sauce. Really tasty man dishes - tofu green curry and massoman curry. All really fresh and tasty. Lovely friendly staff. Beautiful surroundings. Could not have been better. Highly recommended

I'd heard of great reviews of this restaurant so decided to get a takeaway but what a disappointment it was. Ordered spare ribs, satay chicken (which were nice), massaman curry which was like a stew rather than a curry as no heat in it whatsoever, also ordered a stir-fry with mushrooms which was absolutely tasteless. The portions were small and the rice was like glue it was that sticky. I was completely disappointed with the whole meal which was very expensive for what we got. Sad to say I won't be going back to get food at those prices. Their sister place in Altrincham was soo much better when I had a meal there.

Usually fantastic but when went there for Mother’s Day the food and service were both very poor. The seafood red curry - normally heaving with prawns, squid, scallops and mussels had a couple of prawns and three bits of rubbery squid. We are affected quite badly by MSG and like this place as they don’t normally use it. The next day we had awful MSG hangovers. We think they used bought in cheap sauces to minimise quality and maximise profit. We complained about the quality but they couldn’t care less.

We were a party of seven celebrating a birthday and had a wonderful evening. We were welcomed warmly as soon as we arrived and the service and friendly demeanour of all members of staff was second to none, as was the amazing food. Our meals arrived quickly and everything we ordered was freshly made, beautifully presented and very much enjoyed. The birthday boy was presented with a complimentary dessert, complete with a lit candle and a rousing rendition of “Happy Birthday” sung by the lovely staff. Thank you all for a wonderful evening. We look forward to returning very soon.

I have just returned home from this restaurant and am in a state of utter disbelief at how my parents and I were treated. We called in on-spec early this evening (Saturday), with no table booked. We were delighted when we were offered a table....

Highly recommend - the food is amazing and the staff are attentive and friendly. It was my birthday and they bought out a pudding and sang to me, it was a nice touch. We'll be back again soon!

I've eaten in many Thai restaurants and a stir fry should include a mixture of vegetables with a variety of colours. I ordered seafood stir-fry and it had none! Very strange. Should have rather ordered one of the Seabass dishes. The banana dessert was the best part of our meal. Felt we were rushed to order even though our table wasn't rebooked.

Really enjoyed our meal, food was good, staff were friendly and helpful. Room was large, nicely decorated and 3/4 full. All-in-all a really nice experience

Great service and good food! I couldn’t find anything wrong with the service as they were very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the food but it didn’t have the wow factor. The atmosphere was wonderful with live music (Saturday night) and it brought it all together. The decor is really nice too with plenty of floral decorations everywhere. We were seated in front of the floral mirror which was nice but also right next to the kitchen entrance. - I am definitely coming back as my wife and I had a great evening overall.

Stunning, both service and quslity of food, simply stunning.

Only fault was waiting time for drinks, other than that the service was exceptional. Deco was stunning and continued with flower planters outside. Food was amazing. This is the place you enjoy for a treat as a little expensive but worth it.

Couldn't find anywhere to park as never been before so we called the restaurant, a man told us to park on aldi which we did. 3 weeks later got a parking ticket for £70! I rang the restaurant to complain that their staff are telling customers to park there and 4 weeks later I'm still waiting for them to call me back. Will never go again as the food was quite forgettable and worked out a ridiculous price with the price of the ticket!

Fantastic service and food. We had tamarind duck, garlic and pepper chicken and best dish of Beef marinated in oyster sauce and coriander seed, served with crispy basil leaves. The GUNG TEMPURA, home made tempura batter was not all to our liking.
