Can’t fault the food, authentic made Thai food, met the owners sunshine was very friendly and her food is delicious, husband couldn’t of been more helpful and very attentive, great for a family meal or meal with friends, the tables are hand carved Thai furniture and very intricate Would recommend and definitely visit again soon

Mediocre at best! Staff friendly and attentive but starters came on cold plates and pork ribs were dry and tough. Main courses were ok if rather salty. To crown it all they could not provide a detailed printed bill or indeed any printed receipt. Chef needs to up his/her game.

Authentic Thai Food, Made by a full Thai Kitchen , great atmosphere and service

Popped in after a long break following a poor service experience several years ago. But, I remembered how nice the pork ribs were, so at a convenient moment, I thought I would try the ribs again, albeit on a takeaway basis. Ouch. They were horrible. My jaw ached after chewing them. I like spare ribs and have tried many restaurant’s recipes. I will certainly put this down as a silly mistake on my part and will obviously avoid this place in the future.

The food itself tasted good and I was really happy with it. However I started vomiting and got really unwell. Based on all of the other reviews I think this is probably an isolated experience and not reflective of the restaurant itself. Just bad luck for me. But unfortunately put me off the idea of Thai food for a long time!

When wandering around Nantwich on a Sunday, looking for somewhere to eat, we came across Aroi Thai. The welcome was warm and we were shown to our ornate table and chairs. The service and Food were excellent. Staff courteous and inconspicuous but always available to clear plates and serve not drinks. The atmosphere was relaxing, the restaurant itself was clean.

We love Aroi-Thai. Great atmosphere with traditional vibes and their food is delicious. We tried their pad Thai and their stir fries, highly recommended! It seemed like a very suitable place for group outings, judging by the large groups of people we saw there. There is usually space, it's deceivingly small, but it can hold up a large number of customers. I noticed that people can call up and order food for collection as well.

Our first visit, my birthday meal and it was wonderful, we especially recommend the sweetcorn fritters, which we intend to try and make ourselves. So much to chose from, we had a green curry and a red curry both were excellent. We will be back.

It was terrible. Freezing cold, practically empty, slow service and tasteless food. Dont understand how it survives!

Booked a table for 8.00pm on the basis that last orders had to be placed by 10.00pm (according to the website). Was greeted by 'Yes?', shown to a table and two menus were summarily thrown down in front of us. Not a good start! The gentleman who would subsequently serve us saw this and came over and straightened things out. He was very pleasant and the food was enjoyable. We finished the meal around 10.00 and my husband went to collect the car. As I was waiting, the gentleman who had 'greeted' us announced that in future we should arrive earlier - 'have we no respect for them - even supermarkets close at 10.00!' Needless to say we will not be returning.

Easily one of the best restaurants in Nantwich and surrounding areas. Yet to eat here and be disappointed. The generously portioned food is fresh, authentic and well-cooked with the service being of an equal standard.

Restaurant host/waiter gave us a very unpleasant and unwelcoming experience. he threw the menu at us shorted after being seated. Asked where the toilet was and he rudely pointed it. Left without ordering. definitely not returning.

Table for two. Friendly staff, food was fantastic; fresh, hot and very tasty. The Aroi Thai mixed platter was fantastic as was all the other dishes we ordered. Reasonable price and even took away what we couldn’t eat at the time. Great food and great experience

4 of us went for dinner we all had different meals, each one was very well cooked and spiced, lovely service too.

Booked for the lunch menu and when we turned up they were just we close soon so hurry up, we didn’t bother. Terrible customer service, a shame as Gwen several times before but this was my experience today.

Really tasty delicious food & good service!

I ordered and collected. Service is very polite and efficient but the food is seriously lacking. Everything was flavourless. Thai food is supposed to have loads of depth of flavour... and this thai place just does not deliver and if anything the food is very salty. It"s a shame because there aren't any other decent thai places about. I shall wait until I'm out of town next time to enjoy my favourite food.

Amazing food all the time, every time! I strongly recommend the Tom Yam soup and the Pad Thai, both super delicious dishes. Beware of the hot dishes though, if it says hot...it will be really hot!

Food tasted nice and fresh until I found 3 thick dark short hairs in my massaman curry. Maybe hygiene should be better in the kitchen.

Nothing Thai about their food. I ordered red curry which didn't taste the curry part at all - no paste seen. It just looked white and tasted really bland. The tempura prawn was okay but tasted like premade - not cooked freshly given the batter tasted soggy. The manager/owner held a very unfriendly attitude. Most of the waiting staff looked very stressed. If you've been to Thailand or know Thai food, then it's likely not the place for you.

Average (at best) food and very over priced. The sharing platter was poor value at £19. King prawn speciality dish was tasty but the massaman curry was a disappointment due to thin sliced beef and bland sauce. Favorite part of the meal was asking for the leftovers of a dish to be put in a container to take home - it came back 5mins later in a small plastic bag inside a freezer bag. No box. No paper bag. Apparently “that’s just how we do it” when we queried it. Hilarious any restaurant manager would want customers walking out of their door with a blue freezer bag of leftovers, especially after paying £62 for two people. Sadly the service couldn’t make up for the average food, and the average food couldn’t make up for the poor attitude. Not recommended.

We booked a table for New Years Eve just for a night out. From the minute you walk through the door you are made so welcome by the staff. Shown to your seat with a big smile, the menu is extensive so it took me a while to order, finally chose Gai Aroi Thai with Jasmine rice, hubby had the same with egg fired rice plus his bowl of very tasty chips, The meal was excellent as I don't like spicy food, will definitely be going again soon.

Fabulous food, warm welcome, efficient service. Recommend the tapas ! We booked last minute and they were able to accommodate us with no problem . Restaurant heated just right for the cold weather.

We stopped by for an impromptu dinner and we're very glad we did. The food was outstanding and served very promptly. We had 5 tapas dishes between 2 of us, but probably 4 between the two of us would have been sufficient.

We happened upon this restaurant on a Saturday evening, with no reservation we were made very welcome and shown to a table straight away. Food and service excellent, it got very busy later on so is clearly very popular.

My lovely friend who lives in Nantwich suggested here for a long-overdue catch-up and it was a great choice! Professional, friendly staff, smart interior and delicious food!! We both had a stir fry with jasmine rice and vermicelli noodles and couldn't resist an ice cream to follow! Absolutely yummy - we will defo be going again and recommend to anyone who loves Thai food

As a newby to Thai food I really enjoyed the vegetarian set menu. Good service and nice surroundings.

We called in for lunch having not visited for about five years. We arrived relatively late and the restaurant was quiet. We had an very good meal choosing from the excellent two course set lunch menu. Plenty of choice.

The service was brilliant and the food was fabulous. The restaurant has lovely Thai scenery all around and was clean.

Excellent service and the food is authentic that takes you straight to Bangkok. There is really nothing negative to say about this place. They close at 22:30 and they still accept customers arriving at 22:00 for dinner, unlike most places where the kitchen closes at 9 and the only thing you can eat is crops. We had the vegetarian mixed platter that was delicious, while equally delicious that's the duck aroi Thai and squid green curry mains, accomplished by jasmine rice. The staff is very friendly and do their best to accommodate you. Will be back very soon!

Not great had to send back a couple of dishes, a first for us in a Thai restaurant very disappointing 😞 To be honest didn't even taste like it was cooked by a Thai chef ...worst food ever!

Great food, great service - lovely resteraunt would reccomend

We dropped in without a booking having not been to the restaurant before. Although it has heavy authentic wooden thai furniture, a few thai ornaments and thai staff it lacked the calming feel of a thai experience. The food was nice and our service was fine but a number of eat in and takeaway customers complained about their waiting time. The restaurant was full and the staff seemed alittle overwhelmed and as we were sat by the bar we could see the staff arguing amongst themselves. This culminated in the male member of staff behind the bar having a full on argument with a customer about their bill. In his anger he then went on to literally throw some takeaway menus at a lady who asked him for a menu when she was a sit-in customer. No calming Thai ambience - wont be rushing back.

Disgusting attitude from the waiter. Upon entering the restaurant, he rudely pointed and told us to "sit there" which really isn't the way to talk to customers. He then decided to throw the menus at us and walked away. We stood up and walked out. This place doesn't deserve any business. Avoid!!.

Service at start excellent! Wine ok! Starter for 7.00 plus £… beef stir! You get 5 pieces of beef …size of 10 pence! Adequate veg and huge amounts of sauce! So having a husband who luves meat! My husband ate 5 pieces of chicken from his dish! I was told when we paid the bill that every dish has 10 pieces ! If you can find the other 5 I will be impressed! I ordered duck! Tasted beautiful but I ran out of sauce after 2 pancakes and gave up trying to get someone’s attention to get some more! When paying I did ask what was the point of 1/4 of my plate of duck consisting of half a raw swede carved as a flower! Looked great! Apparently I should have eaten it! Wow … that’s a first time at any restaurant I have tried! Gorgeous veg dish overall … fresh … crisp and tasty! Could not fault! So …. I wish I booked! You live and learn! Adequate but so much potential and if service/food had been value for money my review would have been completely full of praise and recommendations!

Great Thai food in Nantwich if you are in the area. The staff are great and the food is well prepared and flavored.

We went to Aroi Thai in Nantwich for a family pre-Christmas get together at a restaurant we have been going to for years. I ordered tempura veg, the batter was thick and soggy. I didn’t complain as it was a family night out and worse things happen. The food delivery was slow; a few of our starters were cold and the final one arrived after everyone else had almost finished. The delivery of the main courses wasn’t too great either. They had obviously been sitting around for a while and delivery was very erratic again. The rices were all delivered sometime before the mains and went cold. I had seafood Panang which was nice but the squid was very overcooked and the scallops were verging on undercooked. One of our party was served with a sea bass that had gone off. Desserts, banana fritters. Thick soggy batter - again. Used to love this restaurant but won’t be in a rush to go back.

Nice Thai, we had the Jungle Curry and rice. Rice portion on the mean side. Curry could be a little hotter and was very watery. Tapas of squid and tempura veg very nice.

It's okay is the best I can do as I've been to a lot of Thai restaurants and this ranks at slightly below average because the food doesn't stand out and could be made easily at home. The level of heat is also not in accordance to the menu. Ordered a hot dish and it was barely spicy (tasted good tho)

My half marathon running girlfriend said the Thai yellow curry was the best curry she has ever had in a Thai restaurant. We also feel it is important to acknowledge that the restaurant catered for her colleague who had coeliac’s disease and were very reassuring. I would recommend this restaurant to people that I like.

Really great food, definitely coming back again. I have got green Thai curry with duck, what was perfect and also served on a candle to keep it warm! Splendid sweet coconut rice and vermicelli as side dishes to the mains which were also good but they both lacked of some proper Thai flavour and some Thai finishes like crushed peanuts. My Vietnamese roll were far from authentic and the fried squid was frozen and possibly over fried. Lovely staff and nice decor.

We found Aroi Thai during our recent visit to Crewe Hall and visited on a Friday evening. The food was great and the staff was lovely. There was a lovely, traditional feel to the restaurant. I would highly recommend!

Very tasty food. Our group tried 2 of the set menu options and all of us enjoyed everything that we tried. Getting multiple starter and main dishes was a good way of trying multiple items at a reasonable price.Service was very good i.e. not intrusive and did not have to wait too long between starters, mains and desserts.

They used proper spices such as lemon grass and Kaffir Lime leaves. The food taste very "samee" after 2 or 3 visits as that is all they can cook. Perhaps a variety of flavours would bid well with customers?

We went for lunch here yesterday, it’s one of our usual haunts as Ladies who Lunch. We used to have the lunchtime menu which at £7.95 for two courses was an absolute bargain, the food is always fresh and tasty. Yesterday we shared a mixed platter to start which was outstanding - filo wrapped prawns which were crisp and delicious, prawn toasts, the most tasty and succulent pork ribs and chicken satay, and some lovely veggie spring rolls. We shared Massaman curry which was the most mouthwatering I’ve tasted , served with coconut rice, and sampled what was a new dish for us- crispy chilli squid. I can honestly say this was cooked to perfection- proper tubes of soft squid, not rings, cooked in the crispiest tempura with the right amount of crispy bite - and a bit of a kick. I could eat this every day, it was so good.! Definitely having this meal again, and the authentic decor and friendly staff always make our visit a pleasure.

Had takeaways from here but never sat in til today. Beautifully set with authentic decor. Clean and cosy. Lunch for 2. Attentive service, food impeccable. Fresh and flavoursome. Good price too. Veggie and vegan options available
