Another lovely meal. Pangeng curry is gorgeous. Dim sum also beautiful. Always a great meal

We visited this little restaurant with high hopes, it looks amazing outside and inside. The staff were friendly and the menu seemed good. We ordered Thai Red and Thai Green Curry with Rice and other bits, unfortunately the Rice turned up in a steamer and inside the steamer was a bag of rice that had clearly just come out of the microwave and it was so overcooked it was like cardboard. We also know as we have had Thai before that it should be thin not like curry but it was ridiculously thin more like water, the flavours were ok, but you could tell by the rubbery chicken that it was not freshly cooked. We were very disappointed

Took my mum here for her birthday lunch - on a Sunday - and have to say it was wonderful. Food was delicious (special shout out for the beef in oyster sauce(!)), prices extremely reasonable, service was attentive and friendly, and all six of us left full and happy. Will definitely be back!

Fabulous food . The only thing that is a problem is that it's so noisy. As its only a small venue, in the side we sat, was altogether about 24 people. We couldn't have a proper conversation as we couldn't hear each other. As & when we go again, I will ask to sit at the front by the bar .

We have been regular customers over the years but not visited for a few months because of illness. A friend was down from London the other evening, so we took her as sn early birthday treat. What a disappointment! The batter on some of my deep fried prawn starter was flabby, but for my friend's main dish -deep fried cod - the batter was completely flabby and the plate cold. We mentioned it to the waitress who asked the chef to replace the dish, but sadly the replacement dish was exactly the same. We told the waitress that we thought the oil being used was possibly not hot enough. When the bill came we were charged the full amount, which I thought was a raw deal. Even a drink on the house would have been a token gesture. We won't be in a hurry to go back.

We spent a wonderful afternoon at the Thai village celebrating a special birthday. Although we were a large group, the staff were excellent. The food was delicious. Drinks were offered before we had to ask and and we were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommend

Stopping here en route to France we rang on the off-chance of a table and we were fitted in. Lovely staff and the food was superb - beautiful balance of flavours, perfectly cooked meats and fish and everything presented beautifully. We're so glad we called, highly recommended!

Came here as a party of 7 for my husband's Birthday. Very impressed. The best food I've had out in so very very long. The service was as perfect as the flavours and so was the atmosphere. I'm so glad this place was recommended to us, or else we might not have found it. Luckily it's walking distance from my house too!

Very disappointing. My husband's meal came out long before mine. He started eating his so it wouldn't get cold. They brought out the egg fried rice I'd ordered which was warm, but I obviously couldn't eat that on its own & had to wait about 5 minutes for the beef teriyake I'd ordered. When that eventually arrived, it was almost cold! I was so hungry, and my husband had almost finished his meal, so I just tucked in & we paid & left as soon as possible. When I got home, I phoned to complain only to be told by the waitress that it was because we were sat next to the window that the food was cold! It had nothing to do with that! My husband's food was hot. There'd obviously been a problem with the beef teriyake & she didn't want to admit to that. I had to request an apology from her. It wasn't given willingly. Wouldn't go back - despite having eaten here many times in the past. The place has gone downhill. Possibly due to what appears to be a takeaway service they now provide. I noticed there were some containers being bagged up whilst waiting for my late meal to arrive, so that was probably part of the reason for the problem with my meal. Would definitely not recommend to anyone anymore.

I am delighted!!! There's very few restaurants that I can eat in due to unusual allergies and Thai Village were so very helpful, the waitress took time to explain the menu and to offer suggestions, without fuss. The food was delicious, I could've eaten it all over again and my tummy didn't have one moan about it at all! Superb value and a fantastic restaurant - am coming back with friends!!!

Clean place, food great staff excellent. Good value for money

Outstanding, the ones that says not as good as it was sounds like Quantity over Quality where actually less is more so do not take any notice of that. here with Family and All of us said it was delicious to a point where we are going back tomorrow night and booking for new Year

Traditional Thai food served by friendly and efficient staff. We had a traditional green Thai curry and a sweet and sour cod. Started with battered prawns. Excellent spicy flavours. Highly recommended.

Got take out from here. Fancied a change to the norm... food was ok no real woo factor. £70 spent and it was ok. Wasn't great and hasn't turned me to ill stick to Chinese for half the price

Sadly the declined in quality recently. The flavours aren’t as good as they were. Also seems as though they’ve reduced the amount of meat in a dish as well as increasing prices, I would understand one or the other with inflation but not both. However the service was excellent and there is a nice ambiance.

An excellent first class meal with fortunate parking right outside. As this is a popular venue one needs to book for a table. Recommended.

Top quality food and lovely staff in this picturesque corner of Sussex. They also serve later than other restaurants in the Eastborne area, with last orders at 9.30pm on the day we went.

This was the closest restaurant to our B&B. We walked there. The food was Take Away Thai style, but cooked fresh each time. We could hear the kitchen. Red curry and Pad Thai. I am gluten free and my meal was safe. Nothing outstanding but satisfying and we returned there 2 weeks later. We both found both meals a little bland. Service was slow, but friendly.

Absolutely delicious! Came here for a friends birthday last night and was fantastic. The food was delicious, service was attentive, polite and friendly. It is a little on the smaller side of tables close together however this was not an issue at all for ourselves. Didn’t interfere with our dining experience and could move with ease around the tables. Will definitely come here again! Mixed starters, scallops, Thai green curry, teriyaki beef and Pad-Med Ma Muang with prawns were fresh and full of flavour!

It is probably 3 months since my last review. This time I thought I would try out the lunch time menu. I thought I would check it for value, freshness of the food, and service. I started with crispy mushrooms. They were delicious. Hot and crispy on the outside but juicy and very tasty on the inside. Then I followed that up with Pad Thai with 4 king prawns. It was plentiful and the combination of the prawns and the noodles was superb. I finished my lunch with banana fritter with ice cream. It rounded the meal off perfectly. Value for money? Without a doubt. Freshness of the food, certainly and all served with a smile. I will be going back for sure.

Absolutely terrible service. We arrived the same time as another table, they got served drinks straight away we got ignored despite being told they were going to serve me they went and served another table their food order without even acknowledging us. We left and would not recommend. Really poor service and wasnt even a full restaurant as we booked at 8pm.

A great place with excellent service and great food. I had the Choo Chii Pla | Deep fried crispy sea bass in a special red curry coconut sauce and sweet basil and it was probably the best Thai food I've had.

Fabulous little Thai restaurant with a lovely atmosphere,excellent service and outstanding traditional food . The staff + service were absolutely fantastic. The modern restaurant was spotless with a traditional Thai style welcoming atmosphere. Three of us went and we all had ,three courses ,beer and wine for about £110. For the high quality + exceptionally good service the meal was a bargain . Can't wait to go again and highly recommend . Superb. Thank you Thai Village .

We took our Grandson and his girlfriend for a meal, they have been living in Hong Kong for the past 4 years so they know their food,Could not believe how good the food was . So glad the restaurant is up and running again with the same friendly staff. Very busy so I would recommend booking. Thanks to Koi and staff we will visit again soon.

I have just been to Thai Village and I have unlocked a surprise which is not listed on the menu and is fabulous. Just ask for WANTON SOUP. It is fabulous and I would like to see it on the menu. Goi says she will always try to accomodate peoples requests so please ask for wanton soup. lovely prawn dumplings in a superb light soup. Fabulous and light.

Thai village is even better now it has changed hands. New dishes including a favorite of mine is Dim sum. Highly recommend it.

I would have give a 5 star as the food was excellent unfortunately I was let down by the bad service and rudeness from the waitress, she was wearing a floral top. She made 2 mistakes on the order and talked to us with very rude tone :” do you want it or not?!” I politely told her again it’s not what we ordered. Finally she changed the order to the correct one but still no apologies. The whole time since we sat at the table she was rude with stone face and can’t bother to say an extra word to us.. However, the lady cook was very kind and her food was excellent, unfortunately we found out it’s her last day there. I hope the new owner of the restaurant won’t hire that rude waitress or we definitely won’t visit there again.

Had lunch with two old school chums on 23rd June 2022. Absolute perfection except for lack of discrete handrails to help folk with limited mobility.

We go here quite often. Food is all ways extremely good, lovely service. Not so enjoyable this evening as had really load crowd on next table, could not have our own conversation as could not hear each other.

Really disappointed! again our order was wrong. This time when we got our order home we had mix vegetables instead of coconut rice. Last time we had Thai green chicken curry with no chicken in it. And no it’s not always possible to go back...

Very good thai restaurant. The starters were amazing. Very tasty and well presented. The mains were also very good, although in my opinion the green thai curry could of done with an extra chilli. Service was very good and they are well prepared for social distancing within the restaurant seating plan. Highly recommended.

My partner and I visited the Thai Villiage and have been to all the other Thai resturants in the area as love the food. However I was not impressed and this review is only my opinion and reading the other reviews we all see things differently. on arrival we were seated by the window which was great as could see the village and down, we were offered drinks and our meal order was taken. When we were placing our food order we asked for the relevant food we wanted and the staff repeat it back as just a number.... example Seafood Gra Praw and they say back.... number 64 that just sounds to TAKE AWAY and not high end. The starter came in good time and was lovely but the main food took ages and we ended up sitting there with no drink refills and empty glasses. The service was slow and not attentive enough and no one at any time asked if the food was ok. The attention to detail is lacking. The tables are way to close togeather and we had an extremely loud table next to us who were as close and 7inches from our table which ruined our experience. We could not hear ourselves over the crammed in table of 6 or 8 people. My food was also very bland campared the the Thai resturants in Eastbourne and the Sovereign Harbour. This is just my experience

Never really eaten Thai before BUT!! Now if I get the chance to go there weekly I would The food was just 10 out 10 Service was 12 out 10 Asked the lovely waitress to pick us some food as I didn't have a clue what to choose She chose 5 dishes for us 1 of the dishes I had to ask for another serving of it (prawn curry) just to die for The rest of the dishes where as good but would never of eaten it all If you haven't tried Thai before this is the place to go Explain what you like and say surprise me You won't be disoppointed Will be back asap

After living nearby all my life I forget this place is here. Visited on a Sunday eve and there were only a few others there which was perfect for us. The food was delicious and our waitress gave guidance on different dishes we were unfamiliar with. Would definitely recommend.

Mi esposo y yo llevamos a dos amigos a este restaurante para una comida de celebración. Aunque mi esposo y yo cenamos aquí muchas veces, nuestros amigos nunca habían estado allí. Tuvimos una comida maravillosa, las costillas y el pollo satay estaban fuera de este mundo y el pato en tamarindo fue increíble. Nuestros amigos quedaron muy impresionados con la comida y el ambiente, y han dicho que regresarán y también tienen la intención de llevar a familiares con ellos. También volveremos pronto.

Estaba muy tranquilo porque el jueves por la noche tuve que devolver el pollo.El wot de curry rojo de pollo ordenado surgió fue una mezcla de carnes (cerdo y ternera) en salsa de salsa marrón que mi esposa no pudo comer, se invitó y se ofreció sin cargo alguno por que se sirviera un plato equivocado, no volveré de nuevo
