Really good Thai restaurant, the red and green curries exceptional.

Wow! We ordered a take away for collection from Thai sun. First of all, let me tell you this is the best meal I’ve had in 2024 (maybe 2023 but I can’t remember half of them). The meat on the ribs was so tender and everything was packed full of flavour. I feel super lucky to have this around the corner. Beats any other Thai I’ve had over the years comfortably. They even threw in some free chicken satay. Thank you so much team at Thai sun. I cannot wait to bring my family over for a meal in the restaurant. Which is beautiful btw!

Wait between courses far too long. Half of our party had finished there mains while we waited almost a hour for our mains. Then some of the orders came out double!

Great service from the moment we arrived to leaving. We were made welcome, the food was fabulous and good value. A special mention to Leah ( hope that’s right) who never stopped been the perfect host, and to Paige and Lee ( again only an educated guess on names) for ensuring the night was a complete success. We will definitely be back. Thank you to you all.

The lunch express are great value for money coming in at only £5 and they are very quick at making the food .

Service is great 👍🏻, no service charge 👏 ! Food tastes authentic! A bit expensive for what it is (menu online is not updated). Fish is £17.99, which is a bit more expensive and smaller than other Thai restaurants, noodles is £8.99, a bowl of rice is pretty expensive - £3.65 (can’t remember exactly but more than £3), thai milk tea is £3.95.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ Thai Sun is UNREAL. Id say that out of all the takeaways I’ve ever had it’s the most consistent by a mile- and we’ve ordered from here pretty much every week for the last 2 years, It’s THAT good. I’ve never even remotely had an order messed up or lacking in anyway and that’s rare for any establishment to follow through with such consistency. We have eaten in the restaurant and absolutely loved it- food really fresh, attentive service without overbearing and all super friendly. Admittedly thought I do tend to grab takeaway more often, only because I work in hospitality so like to eat at home. A really really nice touch is that once you’ve placed your order online, they give you a call back to confirm it and give you accurate waiting times so you’re not sat around guessing, not seen many other places doing that at all! and the delivery drivers are all super nice too! Again, rare 😂 As I say, working in hospitality it’s easy to see where there’s system errors or service issues, but honestly I have nothing negative to say about Thai Sun whatsoever or its staff. The chefs even take the time to clean the prawns properly 😅 and you’d be amazed at how many places don’t! They all clearly care and take pride in what they do. They deserve and have earned every star. Give them a try you will not regret it! We Recommend/ Our Faves: - weeping tiger. - salt and pepper ribs (these are not deep fried- they’re fall off the bone soft) - yellow curry - green curry - mixed platter for 2 - Som Tum Salad

The food was something special, not a crumb left. That being said, I would have liked it if they refilled my water a bit more often.

Would not choose to go to a Thai restaurant but as it was not for me to choose this was the place chosen by a family member as they had been before. It was the best Chicken Pad Thai I’ve had. My daughter got the sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice so we shared our dishes. We had the best of both. Everyone enjoyed their meals. After we had been served our meals the chef came out with another meal we had not ordered and said we could have it at no cost. It was the Etna volcano dish which did erupt. It was a lovely thing to have done and it was no special occasion either. The staff were lovely and although it was a very quiet Monday evening the atmosphere in the restaurant was really nice. I will definitely go back.

Had takeaway. Which is why I didn't rate the atmosphere. Food was great! The lady said that it would be 50 mins for delivery as they were busy and she was exactly right. We have had several meals in the past and all have been delicious. I would definitely recommend the food either in the restaurant or take out.

I was at the restraunt last Friday night with friends and it was amazing ! What a hidden gem to find in pudsey, the food was lovely with a lot of authenticity however two girls especially took our service to a fantastic level , both girls had long brown/black hair,wish I caught their names but we will be back soon anyway ,highly reccomend this place 10/10

From the moment you enter it is clear that service is at the heart of this amazing little restaurant. The food was amazing, the staff friendly and professional and such a unique theme/feel to a very comfortable dining experience.

The best Thai meal I ever had! We booked to visit the restaurant on a busy Saturday night. Our waitress Leah was amazing and very polite. She knew the menu fully and recommended the perfect dishes. The food was exceptional and a real authentic experience, I only wish we had room for the desserts which looked fantastic. We will be back soon.

We ordered takeaway for 5 people to be delivered. It was a busy Friday evening so there was a 45 minutes wait. When the order arrived one main meal was wrong and another was missing. The mistake was understandable, when I said 53, the Thai lady thought I said 63. And when I asked for 2 of one meal, she thought I said 1. The mistake was quickly rectified and we received a complementary bottle of lager. And the food was Delicious, absolutely Delicious.

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit ....food was absolutely perfect ...ambience was just right and the young girls looking after customers were a delight ...so friendly and attentive. This restaurant was a recommendation from absolute strangers we met in a pub....we took them at their word ...they will never know it but we definitely agree with them!

The staff member named Leah was particularly rude and unpleasant to be around. She ordered our food wrong and when it did eventually come it was cold and not up to temperature I will not be returning! She then proceeded to have an argument with us and threatened to hit this behaviour is disgusting and should lead to her being fired.

Excellent meals, service and price. Thai beers, Thai spirits, Thai tea. All delicious. Definitely worth a visit. Will return

This has got to be one of the best Thais in Leeds and very underrated for its quality..! Food was great and the service was absolutely incredible. You simply don’t get this type of service from even native British upmarket restaurants. Venue was quite quiet when we visited the first time but no idea why as it was a great place to try. Will visit again!

Food was delicious but portions were tiny! 5 small pieces of squid starter then tiny Pad Thai with 3 prawns for a main course (apparently 4 is normal!!), weeping tiger expensive and tiny, too. No one came to see us to check we liked the food and we then sat there with empty plates and glasses for over 20 minutes while others around us were served. Only got noticed because we put on our coats! I complained about the prawns and server said she'd check with chef but then carried on serving! We went to complain at the counter and were given £5 off the bill because I should've had 4 prawns on my main! Really? Prices on the website are way out too, so don't go by those! 11 year olds birthday meal ruined.

Food was lovely but portion size is way smaller than expected. Customer service was poor on what wasn't a particularly busy night. Pity because the food is good and this could have been a regular haunt if they'd just be a little more generous and attentive. Left very disappointed and won't be returning.

Amazing food excellent service 5*

Superb food, welcoming & friendly staff. When someone gets a sizzling plate, it can get a bit smokey as it doesn't seem to have any extractor for the room. Would I go again- Yes, definitely.

My fave Thai restaurant in Bramley. Special memories have been made here with my partner so It holds a special place in my heart. Such a wonderful authentic Thai feel. Foods always amazing and fresh.

Some of us had early bird menu which was good but definitely smaller portions. The staff were good and the setting is lovely. I would go again , the food was very authentic and very tasty.

Visited February 2023. Food very nice, service terrible. Arrived at 7.30pm. Served drinks and order taken. No complimentary peawn crackers served, as there was with other tables. Served starters which were again very nice. Received starters around 8pm. Took a long time to clear the plates after finishing the starters, never asked if we wanted our drinks replenished and ended up having to go to the bar to request another drink. Main course arrived at 9.30pm, two hours after we arrived in the restaurant. It almost felt like we didn't exist and were invisible. Would have received 5 stars had it not been for the lack of attention to detail and observation of staff. Food was excellent.

This has to be our favourite restaurant. stunning decor, fantastic food, some of the best we've ever had, staff are friendly and service is spot on.

Finding a place that's cosy and friendly with lovely tasty food and with gluten free options not far from where I live, is a treat indeed. Love Thai Sun. One of my fave places to eat. The 2 course business lunch is great value at £9.75 .

Lovely food not a cheap experience

I have been to Thai Sun 5 times over the past two months and I have yet to have a bad meal here. Food is so good. I highly recommend.

Amazing Sunday lunch- an authentic Thai meal! I had the red duck curry and it was amazing, my partner had the duck which he said was the best he’s ever had.

The portions seemed smaller than last time but the price was the same. The curry portion was really good with added tofu into it. I wish there were more desserts as after spicy food it would be nice to have something sweet too.

We got a takeaway on Friday night. Far from the best Thai takeaway I've ever had - flavours were very muted compared to others I've had. Also both me and my husband were poorly the next day - can't be sure it's from the takeaway but seems highly likely.

Food is always fantastic here. We always bring people who come to visit as its so tasty and hard to come by better thai food in the UK.

Went on a quiet Wednesday evening and had a brilliant meal. Good service, amazing food. The portions are huge so took some home and it was even nicer the next day. A hidden gem!

We absolutely love Thai Sun. Fantastic service and the food is delicious. I'm obsessed with the Pad Thai it's exactly the same as the Bangkok Street stalls. We've eaten in and the restaurant is lovely. Today we got a take away though and it's just as good. The chicken satay is also amazing.

Popped into this Thai Restaurant by chance one Tuesday lunchtime, as we were passing through old haunts. What a nice surprise, this building used to house the Sun Public house many years ago, now turned into a magnificent Thai eatery. Well presented and large menu...
