Service and Atmosphere was Excellent, food was incredible, would especially recommended the Fried Sea Bass with a curry sauce. Beef was a bit chewy in the massaman but staff were more then understanding and replaced the dish

This place is consistently excellent. They have a dedicated Gluten free menu and the Chicken Panaeng curry is simply stunning! Will keep coming back again and again!

Ordered from here just after 7pm After 2 hours the estimated delivery time was 9.50 3 hours is madness, cancelled the order, won’t order here again

Did a big online takeaway order for a family party from Zaap in Headingley. Realised I'd made a mistake with the order when I went to collect it but the restaurant were super helpful and sorted it all out for us. Fantastic service and a big thank you. By the way the food was excellent the Beef Gang Massaman was a big hit as was the Pad Thai. Complimentary prawn crackers were also great.

Excellent fresh food served in a street food setting. Prices reasonable and portion sizes good. Staff very friendly. Several of our group had been to similar venues in Thailand and really rated the authenticity.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, nice drinks. The only downside for me is the seats, not all of them are comfy. Would come here anyway though 😃

The menu was very extensive and clearly labels all dishes and what's in them well. The staff are always extremely friendly and the decorations and style really makes you enjoy your experience there

You can't beat Zaap! The most amazing thai food and nothing compares. Whenever we have thai food in other cities we are always comparing to Zaap and we haven't found a restaurant that comes close. We come here regularly with the family and I bring often my 90 year old grandpa who loves the place too. The staff are so polite and friendly and the service is quick. They do the best chicken satay skewers and the most incredible Pad Thai. The portions are huge. It's our favourite restaurant! You won't be disappointed.

Fun funky place for lunch or supper, great selection on the menu! The bao was delicious and my husbands pho looked amazing!

Fantastic Thai food with excellent decor. Makes you feel like you're on khaosan Road! Starters of bao buns and veg gyoza were great. I had the chicken fried rice for main. Simple Thai dish but done brilliantly. Service was excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Really nice experience and so is the one in town. Good work guys!

Special Thai good taste but portion not big

The overall experience was good but we felt a little bit let down by some of the food. We ordered three starters; prawn dumplings, crispy squid and chicken wings. All three were disappointing. The squid and the wings were both fried in the same thick batter and were flavourless without the accompanying sweet chilli sauce. The mains were great but the starters were a bit lazy and boring.

Lovely place to hear often.. they have great summer options also, pop by whenever I'm in the area.

Ive sat at many different restaurants many times with family and friends and it would be a mediocre experience where you would mostly enjoy the company. However Zaap in Headingly is different, the food and service exceeds expectations. It is a true authentic Thai experience. The staff are truly amazing people and very hard working. Much love ❤️

We love zaap in Leeds but the Headingley one is so amazing! The staff are great and we love it here. Have been tonight for my little boy’s birthday. Our waitress was fab, she worked so hard. They all sang Happy birthday, even in the kitchen and he was so thrilled. Thanks so much! The food is so consistent, the same great food every time. Huge 5 stars from us. Thank you

Relaxed buzz of Thailand and with great atmosphere alongside the old Suko Thai staff, one can lot fault it.

This is our absolute favourite place to eat in Leeds. We love visiting for special occasion family meals as well as popping in for a quick lunch or bubble tea (we also have Zaap delivered quite regularly too - did I mention it's our favourite?!) The food is fresh, delicious and made with love. The teas are fab, especially in summer and the cocktails are insanely good. The restaurant itself has a fantastic atmosphere, the staff are all very friendly and helpful whether it's a super quiet day or absolutely rammed in there. The wait staff and chefs are always happy to accommodate requests and go out of their way to ensure you've had the best meal and service possible. The som tum makes me weep tears of joy.

Great food very fresh no chemically aftertaste with a drink about 30 quid a head well worth it

We loved it. Fast, modern very tasty. The menu is huge be warned !! Lovely choices for any diet. Cooked perfectly and spiced to your liking. Staff are great and attentive. Very bust place.

Really blown away by this- delicious selection of many different kinds of food. Drinks including different bubble teas and cocktails and a great selection of deserts. Friendly staff too. Has a really laid back, street food feel but you don’t feel rushed to leave. Would definitely recommend!!

Amazing place, bustling and fun, we went with two teenaged kids who loved the place! Food was gorgeous and the staff were absolutely fantastic, they brought out a candle in my daughter’s pudding for her birthday when none of us had personally asked them too, a lovely gesture and such a sweet place. Clearly I have had only glowing memories and experiences from this place so highly recommended. x

Interesting place. The decor is worth going there for, and the drinks were lovely. The vegetarian food options were not that flavourful, but the overall menu is huge and varied. Staff were friendly, but not that attentive. Because it’s largely concrete interiors, when the place is full is hard to hear what anyone is saying.

Just had dinner at this place. Nothing close to real Thai food. Disappointed. Would not visit again.

We have a lovely dinner on Sunday, The fish cake,chicken satay and the mango salad where delicious. I order a chicken green curry that was lovely. Service was good and friendly and the atmosphere is casual and great for families. I will sure come back.

Got told to go to zaaps for a Thai meal. And thought we would give it a try. And all I can say is we wasn't disappointed. The staff are really friendly and helpful it's well priced. Food is really nice. This is our 3rd visit in a month. And becoming a regular customer

The quality of food seems to have dropped in recent times and coupled with a hike in prices. Approx £50 for starters and main course for 2 people for a street food restaurant is a bit on the high side when you compare it to other leading Thai street food places like my Thai.

We've now been a few times food is always beautiful and vegan options available. Cost has definitely increased in recent months though. Service is always brilliant, however this time a little fast even though quiet. At one point cleaning starter plates while still eating. Though will always return x

I came here with my male companion Tom for a night on the streets of Bangkok. We were greeted by highly friendly, smiley staff who welcomed us with open arms. The menu was extensive. I didn't really need the English translations, having spent many weeks in Thailand myself. I opted for a sweet and sour dish with chicken and rice, which reminded me of days gone by in South East Asia. It was delicious and served promptly. Tom opted for a fried chicken dish, a choice I wouldn't have opted for myself - but who can blame him when he's simply not as well travelled as me? Nevertheless, he enjoyed it. We also very much enjoyed nibbling on some prawn crackers and sipping on Singhas. The decor was excellent, very authentic to the streets of Thailand's bustling capital city. I very much felt at home.

Nice food and position sizes were ok. Would go back albeit prices are at the upper end of what I’d expect to pay. Service ok.

Tasty food and a great atmosphere. However, service was extremely slow, our mains were forgotten about and had to be re-requested. Eventually came just over an hour after the starters. Could just chalk it down to an honest mistake, but no apology was offered so it felt a bit disappointing, especially given the marketing is all around how ultra fast the service is. Was not thrilled about the service charge under the circumstances.

Lovely restaurant and lovely staff. Had the Bangkok platter to start (for 2). Great mix of chicken satay, Thai fish cakes, sui mai, gyoza, wonton and dips- really tasty. For mains- Pad Pak Bung Fai Daeng - with Belly pork- a favourite which we'd had before, plus Rad Na Mee Krob/Sen Yai- with crispy egg noodles and seafood(squid, prawns, mussels and veg) which tasted delicious. Had Singha and Mango IPA to drink. Definitely visiting again. Super.

I'm still grinning from the sheer joy of eating all that yummy food. I feel happy and I'm going to sleep well tonight.

Visited with a friend, and had a wonderful experience. All the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, I really recommend the vegetarian squid rings! Had a great selection of vegetarian food, as well as all the other choices!

Quick visit with my parents on a Monday night - great authentic feel, food and service was great. would return.

Disappointing... Had the mixed platter and was expecting a taste sensation, unfortunately what I received was a plate of tasteless rubber. Everything was dry, the chicken was especially tough and the processed fishcakes were revolting. I enjoyed the setting and pleasant service, but the food was terribly inferior to what I've experienced at typical Thai restaurants. Sorry but won't be returning as too many better alternatives in Leeds.

I love Thai food so was excited we were visiting here. The atmosphere was uncomfortable. Seating was cloister phobic. Packed in like sardines in a tin ! easy hear shot of peoples conversations. The food was a huge let down. Just mediocre ! Very disappointing experience. The cocktail drink Margarita £7.95 was awful just too salty and undrinkable! So annoying as Thai food is my favourite food, but we won’t be returning back here.
