Thai green vegetable curry is really good. They kindly checked whether I was vegetarian and recommended plain rice as spicy rice and noodles have fish sauce and eggs. Recommend!

Thai food. Not buffe. You order 1, 2 or 3 types of portions. The chicken is halal according to the restaurant. The quality could be much better it’s more like a quick eat for competitive prices but doesn’t work for more and no toilet. I would go for a quick lunch break meal but nothing more than that.

Hi there, I recently dined in with my lovely girlfriend and we had a great experience!! We sat in the lovely window side seats and took in the breathtaking christmas experience in London (November bear in mind!!) She had a fantastic chicken pad thai and I had a brilliant beef massaman curry which I thoroughly enjoyed. Food was affordable, good quality and a nice portion particularly for central london, and service was attentive and speedy. Will definitely recommend to friends visiting the christmas shopping areas to avoid the extortionate prices!!!

Good food behind Picadilly, well priced

Very good pad thai, both with chicken and shrimp, medium spicy, with a lot of meat, served quickly and efficiently. I recommend the place for a quick lunch or dinner.

A reliable Thai canteen on Brewer St, just behind the Whole Foods store. Really affordable. Tasty. Can’t beat their cost performance in this W1 location. I recommend this place for anyone who’s looking for a quick meal in the area.

Fire. We had our name on an hour-long waitlist down the street and I am so glad we came here instead. Hole in the wall family run restaurant with the tried and true Thai offerings. Small menu and maybe they don’t serve any alcohol (?) but everything we ate was so perfect we even ordered a second serving of the drunken noodle. Good to support smaller businesses amongst a street of more commercial spots. We’ll definitely be back x

I normally go here all the time for lunch but i won’t be going again. I ordered green chicken curry and the chicken was raw inside. The chicken is normally slightly pink but never raw in the middle which it was. It’s a shame because i did really like this place for a thai curry but i wont be going back.

The closest this gets to Thai cuisine is the chilli flakes I got on the side, good food for after a night out and fairly priced, but as a Thai I was upset, this is not Thai food.

Easy, fast, good value, healthy and pick on the spot ready dishes with one to three toppings on rice or noodles. Will be one of my regular lunch stops whenever I’m in the area. Good food and will come again, highly recommended! Had the chicken satay (well marinated chicken and good peanut sauce!) and chicken curry, will try out other dishes too!

One of the best Thai lunch spots in Central London......I make sure I eat there every time I'm around Mayfair or Soho. Great great value for money and the staff are always super efficient. Food is just brilliant.

Food here is good but not great. We still would recommend because TWC is also very affordable considering the huge serving portion. Our fried fish with chilli sauce and the Pad Thai were both tasty. We certainly would return again for a quick meal.

Cracking food. Basic no frills cafe feel, but if you're in the area and fancy Thai (and can find a table) then the food is very tasty and the portions generous.

Amazing is one of the words that best describes this place, it was definitely an experience that I want to repeat again and again. The food was amazing, freshly prepared and the portion size was just right. On a Saturday morning from 10:45am all the way through till closing time, the food standards stay amazing. Definitely would recommend to family and friends.

Cosy and affordable place with authentic Thai food. I had Tom Kha coconut soup made with lemongrass and other herbs - rich, slightly sweet, and delicately spiced. Very comforting and exotic at the same time.

Great value for money. £4.50 for the soup. They were happy to swap out the chicken for vegetables in the soup. The lighting and decor could be better admittedly. Great if you’re at a loose end.

I was in London with my sisters for the pre Christmas get together. We had burger earlier. Wanted to eat proper food. We came across Thai west cafe by chance, and most places seem to do cash only, but they accepted card. Not the biggest place but not bothered by that. The two ladies running it were very nice. Food was excellent, we had two chicken masseman curry, one Thai green curry (HOT) we did ask as like heat in our Thai green. all dishes were great tasty and filling, rice was good amount too. Prawn crackers are sold in little bags plain for spicy. They all so do tea and coffee soft drinks which were a good price Can £1, bottle 500ml 1.50. Reasonable price for London main meal plus rice and bottle of pop under £15.00 Would keep in mind to eat here again when back in London.

We tried to walk in tonight with our children to have dinner. We have been clients for many years and we have been no longer than 3 weeks ago there for dinner on Saturday. We were sent away by the lady at the counter. She told us it was all booked. Not a single table had the "Reserved" sign on it, I just checked online and this restaurant is not on any website with system for restaurants' reservation. I am in shock.

Had been in London overnight, and had enough of rubbish ‘fast food’ so was looking for something different, saw this little cafe and couldn’t resist. Simple menu, choose your base of plain or spicy rice (Pad Thai is also available for a small price), then add your toppings. We went for spicy rice (delicious) with 1 topping, I had massaman curry, my wife had chicken with cashew nuts, add a couple of cans of ginger beer and it came to £20, an absolute bargain for London. Great portion size, I struggled to finish mine. Constant footfall as takeout is also available (if taxi drivers eat here, it’s always a good sign of good food/great value). Will be back next time I’m in London.

Food is delicious! We had spicy fillet fish, chicken in green curry and soup with coconut - delicious! The spicy fish is the best. We got there late afternoon so maybe food prep took a bit of time. It’s a simple eatery with around 4 tables and a bar setting that sits 4 - being by the window that faces the street, it’s a cozy set up. Not a fancy place , tucked somewhere near Regent street, and the food is what we expect good Thai food to be.

Found this restaurant on a trip into London with the family. Our Mother has a lot of food allergies so finding somewhere to eat can be challenging. They took great care to tell us all the ingredients and make sure that the food was safe. There was an incident of organized theft nearby while we were waiting for our food and a mob of people ran by screaming. The owner was calm and collected and made sure everyone was inside and felt safe before explaining what had happened. We returned a week later and the owner recognized us and talked with us for a while. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is good, and the price can't be beaten in Soho. Beyond all of that the owner is one of the most genuinely kind people I met in London.

First off the spicy fish is amazing my favorite dish here. My family loves their massaman curry. One of the most reasonable price places to eat in SoHo. The staff and owner are very friendly and welcoming. If there tables are all full just take away and enjoy their food at Golden Square around the corner. On my first visit their my wife and kids were ordering take away while I was around block. During this time there was an organized theft/riot that went down the street. It happened so fast but the owner was quick to react and got my family into the restaurant to safety and locked the doors. Once everyone was safe inside he calmly explained what was going and that they were ready for such an incident. I am so grateful for the owner and staff for this. A week later my wife and I went back to pick up some lunch. When we walked in the owner instantly recognized us and asked how the kids were doing and how’s the family. Just amazing people making amazing food in London! Don’t skip on the spicy fish!!!!! Thank you Thai West Cafe!

Happened to be passing by when we were hungry before a theatre matinee on a Saturday. There was a decent turn over of customers, all ordering tasty-looking food. The concept is simple - choose a base (rice or noodles etc) and either one, two or three main dishes. We had two mains and a plain rice each and ate in - it came to £10 each. We would come again.

Good price (£8-£10) and well served. I recommend it a lot.

Thai West Cafe was an amazing find. Authentic and delicious Thai food. The food was delicious with the perfect amount of spice. The staff was so caring, helpful, and understanding when there was an unexpected event that resulted in us needing to change from take away to eat in. They were very conscious of our allergies and wanted to make sure they got it right. The owner was wonderful! He is definitely making his mom proud!!

Delicious Thai food and fantastic service! The owner and staff were so welcoming! There was an incident in the streets while we were ordering that startled the adults and greatly upset the children in our group. The owner and staff made sure we were safe and offered us free drinks and snacks to calm our nerves and comfort the children. We had ordered take away to take to the park, but they offered to let us stay because of the situation and were very accommodating. We even offered a tip for their kindness which they refused insisting that it's what anyone would do, but it was far beyond what most would do! Besides the hospitality the food was so good! Excellent flavor, fresh food, good portion sizes and a perfect level of spice! Everyone in our group was pleased with the dish they chose and came away with full, happy bellies! We found out the restaurant was started 20 years ago by the current owners mother. She should be proud of the wonderful son she's raised and the legacy in the excellent food and service her son continues to offer! I would definitely recommend if you enjoy Thai food and would absolutely return if I have the chance!

Wandering through Covent Garden/Soho looking for a tasty but reasonably priced place for dinner after visiting the Globe theatre. Came across this place and so glad we didn't give in to the other places before. Very tasty, lovely staff, good sized portions and very reasonably priced (not just "for London")

This is a hot take given all the positive reviews but I thought the food was mediocre. It's more of a cafeteria than a cafe in that the food is pre-made and you just walk up to the counter and point to what you want them to dish out to you. I'm rounding up to 4 stars because it's cheap and the servings are large. I didn't think the food was spicy or particularly flavorful.

Best value for money for the area, decent portions for the price. Like that they keep the food relatively spicy and don’t cater to much to the English palette. Chicken is halal which is great, however, it’s not the best quality (texture and taste as slightly off), would give 5 stars if they used a better supplier. Spicy rice could be a bit less plain, maybe add some veggies, egg etc. Noodles were decent. Some side sauces would have been a great addition. Would recommend the spicy fish & would come back again. It’s one of the most affordable places to eat around central London, they have a wide range of Thai curries and fried chicken options which you can combine with rice or noodles, they also do pad Thai, it’s very affordable and quantities are huge. It used to be cash only but they have recently started accepting cards. There is some seating inside but not too spacious so better to grab a takeout and have it in the nearby park.

Great little place in Central London for affordable Thai. The food was good and the atmosphere was basic- it is a cafe experience, not restaurant. My only gripe was crackers served in plastic bags. Not very environment friendly. Other than that staff were great and brilliant location.

They became more expensive. The waitress was friendly, the food was okay, it was not my favorite but I guess that’s personal taste. The portions are REALLY big, I didn’t eat all of it
