This was a last minute booking but so glad we went. The set up is basic and there appeared to only be one server but boy did she do well. The menu is a bit different but all the dishes we chose were delicious. 2 Paella's, one Spanish prawns and one meatballs. Amazing flavours and very different from anything you will find in the area. Not a scrap left on any of our plates so that says it all. Dog friendly too! Give it a go if you fancy something different.

Friday afternoon and we had a craving for traditional fish and chips. Walked the length of the High Street past fancy studenty cafes - most of which were shut - and found Templetons right at the end of the street as we were giving up all hope. What a find! Big, golden, lightly battered fish, excellent chips and mushy peas with bread and butter and a mug of tea £11. Nice, welcoming staff who gave us a great overview of the town. Just what a new student needed to find! Happy to leave my son well-fed and well-informed!

A great local chippy just a 20-minute walk from the town centre. Popped in one midweek afternoon. Good service and very good fish & chips. Reasonably priced and delicious too! Recommended.

Never been to Bangor so googled best chippie (as you do!) and it came up with Cheryls. Have to say she fully deserves the title! Friendly service, everything cooked fresh, good value and tasted great. No hesitation in highly recommending

Just staying with friends in Belgrave Pensarn. We decided to do a chippy tea tonight and it didn’t disappoint. Smaller eaters had a small cod (ample size) and the bigger adults had large fish & large chips to share. We got 3 large tubs of fruity curry sauce and to finish off 2 boxes of gorgeous scraps. Absolutely lovely ordered and cooked fresh so everything was crispy and piping hot.

Please read this before visiting this place for Fish and Chips. We bet that Ed Sheran wasn't served anything like the crap meal that we were presented with. Who can eat the fish tail, or chip scraps? The bulk of our 4 portions were fed to the sea gulls, and we expect even they, had a good vomit afterwards. Never again will we waste good money on such crap food, and will travel to Leiston, Southwold or Dunwich instead, where we certainly know that we will get decent fish and chips.

Went to the takeaway next door to the restaurant. It was a Monday, so most places were shut. Had 2 fish and one portion of chips with curry sauce. The fish were freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. The batter was really crispy and the chips great. Would definitely order from there again. I think they are my new favourite in Conwy and Llandudno.
