The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Scotland

The second time I’ve been to the set lunch menu and wow think this might have been even better than my first visit. Beautiful food stunningly presented. As a solo diner it’s the nicest intimate dining experience and one I will definitely repeat

Fantastic food, great atmosphere. Very friendly staff and excellent service. Probably one of the best burgers I've had in the UK, my son had the same burger and agreed it was one of the best.

Absolutely the best fish and chips in this area. Ig is a real treat and the service is always very friendly and professional.

What a special treat we experienced on our visit to Flavour this week. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and relaxed. Each & every course offered a wonderful taste of the produce available seasonally on our Island with the attention to detail that goes into the selection, preparation & the presentation of the dishes, quite amazing. We enjoyed hearing the story of our food from start to finish & the dedication put in by Chris, the Flavour team & also His family is evident. Absolutely Michelin star dedication. First day popped it at 3.50pm, ordered coffee and cake, told to take a seat, items duly brought to table. Then someone from behind the serving area literally shouted at a group of older ladies that they needed to leave as "we are closing in exactly 5 minutes". I caught the waiters eye and mentioned he had just served me, the same disembodied voice "we close at 4pm sharp". 2 days later at 2.10pm I dropped in for a sandwich, took a seat, looked the menu, went to order to be told "kitchen is closed" I mentioned that it states food served till 2.30pm, "served yes but it needs to be made first so we stop taking order around 2.15pm". Maybe the food is good but I have yet to try it. Staff need some lessons in customer care, speaking to some locals it appears they are well know for the lack of customer service.

Just home from an evening at the Kilberry Restaurant, very friendly welcome from David and great service from the young man who waited on our table. It’s probably been said in previous reviews so I can only add to them by saying the food is sensational in a warm cosy environment. Can’t wait to return.

We went to Catch79 last night with our friend for a meal, as she has eaten here on a number of occasions. This however was our first time to this restaurant, on entry you could see that it was busy and had a more upmarket feel to it. My friend had the lobster mac and cheese with salad , my wife had the halibut steak in a sauce and I had their version of surf and turf. Prior to our main courses arriving we all received a muse bush which was a small glass of seafood type soup can’t remember exactly what was in it unfortunately. Our main dishes on arrival were very well presented and very tasty, the restaurant isn’t cheap by any means but the quality of food is excellent with the freshest of seafood being the order of the day. To finish of our meal my wife and I had the mini mince pie ice cream sundae , and our friend had the Lemon tart with a coconut sour cream .

Had one of the best meals ever in this fantastic refurbished restaurant. Tide and Thyme have always produced excellent food but the new styling is truly remarkable. Everything just spot on. Our meals were all perfect, zucchini fritters, scallops, lamb, sea bass, seafood linguine, everything was beautifully presented, great portions and tasted sublime. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Good luck....not that you will need it....!

Just like how a fish supper should be; no nonsense. Was so good didn’t even need sauce. Visited for dinner after hearing great things about the place and it didn’t disappoint. Super fish suppers, coleslaw, onion rings and finished off with a single nougat wafer. Our server Lyla was a delight; fully competent, smiley and polite. The place takes you back in time, even with a fryer from nineteen canteen - very special. We will most definitely be back!

Please please please open up again. I don't mind paying extra as the quantities and qualities of food are stupendous. 😋😘🤗

This is a new addition to the eating options in Tobermory - and will completely put it on the map as not only’ vaut le detour’, Michelin style, but as a destination in its own right . I had the tasting menu, my partner the a la carte ( so first, no nonsense about the whole table has to have the tasting menu)- the venue is bright, the welcome warm and informative, and the food - some of the best I’ve ever had. The langoustine and halibut courses were absolutely delicious whilst the scallops - with fennel oil and white chocolate sauce, amongst other flavours- the best I’ve ever had. Totally brilliant. Sauces for all the meat and fish , absolutely imaginative, some unusual, and worked! Wine choices delicious, atmosphere ‘ local’- tables talking to each other! ‘ and welcoming - ‘ walk ins’ were warmly greeted. All in all - an experience. And again - the food - superb. I didn’t take any photos but someone will….. we’ll done, and I wish you all the success you strongly deserve!

Another fabulous meal from these culinary wizards. You can tell that their food is divine by the fact that whole tables of diners become silent as they experience each new course. Conversations are set aside as each magical taste explodes on our palates! The menu has changed since our last visit and I would say improved but, as it was perfect before, it is impossible to have improved on it. Our meal was equally as brilliant as last time and the service was excellent as always. We highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is definitely worth a visit! The scallops were lovely and fresh and the honesty box is heart warming. There are two fridges. One for pre-orders and another stocked with a variety of scallops and oysters. Would recommend doing the nearby circular scenic drive to Kneep Beach. Such a stunning beach!

Sadly the restaurant did not live up to our expectations. Restaurant itself was lacking in atmosphere. Food was overpriced and lacking in flavours. Very disappointing.
