Loved this experience. I was made to feel welcome and custom appreciated. Service was on the slow side and it wasn't handled particularly well at the start. I did decide to forego the wine tasting pairing and cheese course as a result. Having said that, the food was spectacular and the wines I did sample were great (thank you for letting me taste from the wine pairing menu for the white - great flexibility to make up for the slow start). The seven course is well worth the price and the wait staff were friendly and happy to chat over the dishes and ingredients. The Sake Ginger Grapefruit cocktail I ordered at the start was a revelation as well!

Did not disappoint!! The restaurant is small and intimate, tucked away at the end of charming Loch Bay. We hustled in out of a squall to a glowing fireplace and a very warm welcome from the (2 person) waitstaff. The food was fantastic. All the courses were beautifully prepared and presented. Flavors and sauces perfect. We very much enjoyed this dining experience. Highly recommend!!

Nestled in an unassuming little hut on the Isle of Skye, Chidakasha offers a dining experience unlike any other. This hidden gem provides a tranquil escape with its calming atmosphere and focus on vibrant, seasonal flavors. The unique tea pairings, expertly matched to each dish, elevate the culinary journey and add a delightful touch to this already exceptional experience. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a sense of serenity, allowing you to truly savor the exquisite vegetarian cuisine. Chidakasha is a must-visit for those seeking a truly memorable and unique dining experience on Skye.

A great evening. Beautifully prepared and served meal. The colours and positioning of the vegetable selection, the carefully cooked food, the wide choice of menu, the attentive service, the cosy ambience. What a lovely evening. I would recommend highly to anyone interested in giving it a try.

We fondly remembered the sandwich station from a previous visit to the island a few years ago, so we just had to visit again during our latest holiday. We ate here twice during our week (once with the Mogabout island tour) and we were not disappointed. They still serve great sandwiches on great bread so if you are visiting Arran you have to go there. Just make sure you are hungry as the sandwiches are substantial.

We didnât have a booking but the restaurant fitted us in which we really appreciated. We were not disappointed the food was exceptional and so was the service. The menu is small, but perfect. We all ordered a different main course and none of us were disappointed. I have a starter again, beautiful and the rest of the party a dessert again fantastic. The complimentary soup was a nice touch too. It was the first evening of our stay and it could not have been any better. A really great restaurant. Thank you.

We were greeted in a most welcoming manner on entering. We ordered two toasted ciabatta with amazing fillings. Both absolutely delicious and the apple and home baked cinnamon cake and the chocolate brownie were exceptional. Best my wife has ever had! This family business of over 23 years is well worth a visit and is extremely friendly. Top marks from us đđđđ

Wonderful place. I had read about the Corrour Estate & have stayed nearby for a number of years & wanted to go there last year but was not organised enough. Got the train up from Roybridge - double check that there is a return train as it would be an epic walk back - delicious lunch of soup & a venison burger with several pints of the Corrour Gold beer and caught the train back. The location is other worldly & must be about as remote as you can get in the UK. Well looked after by the charming team of ladies working there today and will definitely return

We came to Skoon a few times since it opened its doors and were back today (my other half, her father and I) while visiting family on Harris: we spoke to Emma and she was great to talk to. The place has not lost any of its charm, a real oasis for visitors and with delicious bakes/coffee. The artwork by John is splendid, and there is a good collection of sheet music (trad music for clarsach and fiddle, mainly) and CDs/Vinyls. I would be back in a heartbeat! Francesco

Great place. Very busy but they found us a table for us out of the way as we have a dog and wanted him tucked away. I had what can only be described as the best, tastiest tomato đ soup I have ever had in my life. It was amazing and sent my comments to the chef that day. Great menu variety and quite a special place .
