Had a lovely Sunday lunch when I visited this evening . I had the pork lion it was beautiful it was a huge portion with a lovely selection of veg :) service was quick and all staff were friendly. My partner had a kids meal as he wasnât too hungry and this was a really good sized portion would recommend food here :)

Nice enough - husband really liked, I was less enamoured. Can't complain about portion size, if anything far too generous. Shop could do with looking a bit nicer (do you want to eat food from somewhere which, in the public areas, has gaffer tape on the benches and posters/cards for events that happened months ago?) I'd visit again, but only if I was hungry/it was raining heavily and didn't fancy walking a bit further from home.

Worst breakfast in ivybridge. On the face of it , it looks ok until you taste the poor quality goods. Cheap sausage, cheap baked beans , egg smothered in oil, horrible brown sauce. ÂŁ1 extra for ONE slice of bread and butter. At this price range (ÂŁ8.50) they could use quality products and still make profits. First and last meal there. Better options only 2 mins away.

Very poor fish and chips, stale chips, overdone greasy batter, grey fish. This place is very variable but mostly no good nowadays. Wonât be going back

Portions are generous, 5 of us shared 2 large & 1 small cod & chips & there were masses of chips left over. Ordered over the phone, so didnât wait long. We all really enjoyed it, crisp batter, fresh perfectly cooked fish & tasty chips. As expected prices have increased but it was worth it. I will use Harleyâs again, but confused as it says Stobyâs on the door

We ordered lobster roll expecting some beautifully presented lobster curled round a tasty dressing. What turned up was a scant tablespoon of chopped overcooked lobster in a cold, cheap, tasteless white finger roll of bread that would have disgraced the bargain shelf of the cheapest supermarket. It was inedible. The side of hispi cabbage was well cooked, thankfully, or I would have left feeling very hungry. There are no loos. You have to use the dimly lit and droughty public loos in the adjacent council carpark. This is possibly the worst restaurant in St. Ives.

Very nice - quite amusing how everyone waits in the street for orders to come out. really nice food. Four of us ate 3 cod and two large portions of chips.

I am thrilled that you are getting back up and running. I've had so many relaxed and friendly hours in the cafe with friends that I am looking forward to more accompanied by a fab nut roast and side salads fit for a queen. Airy and plenty of space (unlike other cafes that cram as many in as they can) so it feels very Covid safe even without have to make big changes.

Do not go here OMG what a place ! Two men play fighting at the bar and not listening to us, no ale or bitter only lager. We travelled some distance for sea food and when we asked if we could eat they just laughed at us and said we have some quality monster munch here in this box ! We are finding it funny writing this because they guys were funny in some ways but it is sad that they have no pride in the place and that the pub is now just a comedy show. If you want a laugh, a pint of cheap lager and some monster munch give it a go. If you want food or for polite service do not go here !!

Best fish & chips we've had while visiting the UK! We arrived shortly after opening, and the food was freshly made. My husband and I shared a large cod & and chips, and it was the right amount of food for two. We visited Bath a week prior on a tour, and the guide told us this was the best place. We hadn't had the opportunity then to try it, and we made a point to do so upon our return visit. I'm very glad we did!
