The best restaurants serving Seafood food in South East

I took my son and daughter to the restaurant where I was pleasantly surprised our waitress layla was amazing couldn't have been more helpful and interacted with the children she was very polite couldn't have asked for anything more from her will defo be going back 😁

I didn't expect much from the diner. I was meeting a colleague there since my hotel didn't serve breakfast. I was very clean, and the service was impressive. I don't recall the name of the server, but he was very attentive and professional. Food was good - average: I had scrambled eggs and bacon.

Booked a table for Valentines with my wife, like every year, nice friendly pub with nice decor. But was disappointed with the Valentines set menu, with no option of another menu which was available on previous years. They didn’t have a Pinot Grigio or Prosecco and the starters on the set menu were not to our taste and no steak available on the mains. The food tasted great but for the price we payed, it wasn’t value for money as we left hungry, due to no starter.

A morning caviar snack on the way to the boarding gate. The service was swift and the lady server was knowledgeable and very helpful. An excellent start to our holiday….

I ordered our food over the telephone and arranged collection. On arrival I paid and were given the bag of food. I arrived home to find that two pieces of haddock were missing. I contacted A&D and they advised they had forgotten to put it in the bag and I can return to collect it. I explained I lived 8 miles away and asked if they could deliver but they said no, I then asked for a refund and were told that this was not an option. There was no apology offered at this time. In the end I asked my son in law to go to collect the fish as he lives closer. This was a principal reason as ultimately the fish was not eaten. Needless to say we will not be ordering from there again!

Lovely and hot cod and chips and lovely sausages great portions very busy when we came not sure what more I can say really.

If you want the best fish and chips you've ever tasted go here!!!! After a trip to Winchester me and my family were feeling hungry and happened to stumble upon this place. We were greeted like we were old friends by the guy behind the counter he took our order he was very attentive to the order making sure we had specifically what we ordered (fussy kid) he said as its all fresh cooked there would be a short wait and he would bring it over.... a 10 mi use wait and we were given our meals and my gosh were they worth the wait. The fish was cooked to perfection batter crisp fish soft it was perfect absolutely perfect. My fussy child ate all his food and clear plates all around. I live in Southampton and I will be coming back to Winchester just for the food and the fantastic service

We drove quite a way to get fish and chips as a treat for my mother in law who is 98 and housebound. But they’re no longer open Sunday. Disappointed!

Lovely before theatre drinks and meal. The food was cooked beautifully and wasn't over complicated. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Awful service and rude, arrogant senior staff, ie the owners, who will not interact with customers when there is a problem and hides behind teanage staff. Will not use this place again

I have got my Fish and chips from here for over 10 years, tonight was the worst fish and chips i have ever had. Not too sure if they have new owners and cook but it was awful, chips were dry and poor quality, batter on fish was stoggy and not properly cooked and the battered sausage was dark brown and the batter was like cardboard. Not to the usual perfection we are used to from Fish Inn, what’s happening???

In a word Yuk!! We won't be coming hear again. We purchased our lunch here yesterday and if we lived closer I'd have taken it back. The fish was fresh & nicely cooked, but I have never been so disapointed with the chips.. or excuse for them They were just awful dried shrivelled up & grossy overcooked & despite lashings of vinegar nothing could improve the poor quality product which had been presented to us My impression was they were left over from the previous night and reheated. We paid a lot for these chips and feel grossly let down i want my hard earned back!!

This was our 'go to' fish and chip shop but it went downhill so we stopped using it. We gave it another chance as the other shops were closed this evening and I'm pleased to say that the fish and chips were back on form!

We have used this place for pizza delivery for a while and they have always been very good. The chips I agree with other recent comments have been limp and far from crisp. Our usual delivery has been about £15 but unexpectedly this was hiked up to over £20 with our recent order - that is over 25% as an increase. When challenged we got "we have recently increased our prices...." The "delivery charge" went from £1 as advertised to £2.50 which they attempted to charge this week. We rejected the order. Blatant profiteering - more expensive than Dominoes? Really? Sad really as the pizzas are good - the rest however just isn't worth the current price by a country mile. We will not be using them again.
