The best restaurants serving Seafood food in South East

Visited this chippy as it’s just opposite a decent pub we went to. Was a small queue so it looked promising. However, was honestly the worst chippy tea we’ve had in a long while. Ordered and paid extra for medium chips not small, a battered sausage and a fishcake. Chips were hardly enough for one person and cold, didn’t get a battered sausage but plain one and the fishcake was awful and went in the bin. Hope the chippy enjoys our tenner as it’s the only one they will ever get. Awful food. Shame as the staff serving were so nice and I cannot fathom how there’s a queue to this chippy?

I come here with my grandma we always get good service and this is the best fish and chip shop ever. Restaurant was amazing clean and they are very friendly

Dreadful cod fish, over battered and dry, I think it was cooked twice. Too many small chips. Overpriced very disappointing after going there for years. Dreadful.

Great customer service but why large cod hardly fill me up as a boatmen. As always chips is what fill you not the fish as we going for the fish mainly 🫨

I had fish and chips last night from the Frying Fish. Being local I have tried most of them and this, in my opinion, is the best. The menu is vast so if you aren't into fish there are plenty of alternatives - the cauliflower with Jack Daniels sauce is particularly good. The staff are friendly and efficient, and when it is that busy I don't envy them! I was served by a young lad called Jack, he was very polite and efficient and seemed to enjoy his job. Its great to have a local chippy employing local youngsters. I will definitely continue to go, its good value too!!

Silly boy didn’t ask if I wanted the chips closed or open. Decided to close them, then when I asked can I have them open he said “too late”. Bless his socks, was clearly having a bad day. Went back to ask him to open them. He did after some convincing. In an extremely sassy manner. Muttering under his breath. Even said “well you’re wrong, not me”. Whatever you say lad just serve me my food, I ordered fish and chips not waffle. Ps. Not enough salt.

Absolutely awful! Ordered by delivery. Over priced, overcooked fish in batter, cant say it was cod, so dry, swimming in oil, and soggy chips. Went in the bin.

We always recommend Taylors but never again. We ordered a large cod and large chips costing £13. The fish had 2 layers of batter so had been cooked twice and the cod was dry. The chips were oily and undercooked. Absolute rip off will not be returning.

Good local pub with a warm welcome and a great garden

It may not look like much from the outside but we were very impressed with our plate of cod and chips. 5 star food rating and well worth a visit when you are in Broadstairs.

Now renamed Woodys. Brand spanking new interior. Runs like clockwork. Be ready for a wait though as everything’s fresh. Staff lovely. Best fish in a long time and absolutely best chips EVER. Fabulous value too. THANKS!

I didn't expect much from the diner. I was meeting a colleague there since my hotel didn't serve breakfast. I was very clean, and the service was impressive. I don't recall the name of the server, but he was very attentive and professional. Food was good - average: I had scrambled eggs and bacon.

A morning caviar snack on the way to the boarding gate. The service was swift and the lady server was knowledgeable and very helpful. An excellent start to our holiday….

Wow food was amazing. I normally have to order from Tunbridge wells but this branch is something else. Everything tasted fresh the pizza was amazing and the garlic pizza bread tasted like garlic and had sauce and cheese on it. And the driver was so friendly. Seriously amazing dominos best in town

Worst ever clean your oil now and then dark brown gloopy textured squid scampi just the batter nothing inside half of them cod bits stuck together go at your own risk I won’t be returning
