We called in our order wgWhich was great and ready when we got there, the fish was lovely but they didnt have any large pieces. The chips were good the only negative was the curry sauce, it is far too sweet, its like spicy jam.

Good chips very good value for money, COD was very greasy and batter was soggy, no mushy peas or curry source. Very rude staff to customer did not like this, it’s not wow but not rubbish you no what you are getting.

This fish and chop shop in Lancing do great food with a good service and prices to match too. They have been in business for some time.

Terrible attitude and terrible food tonight. Never go back. Normally go in 3-4 times a week. Lost my custom! Asked for a replacement she said no... only the chips. The man that fries is a great man. As for her.... well, Ill leave that for another day. If there is anything wrong dont expect a refund or exchange... it wont happen!

I have used this fish and chip shop for years, great food, fairly priced and a smashing couple run it.

Always try to get my fish and chips here as they are fresh and taste nice, also good portion size and doesn't cost the earth.

this is good place used it for years but what alot of folks dont realise is they have limited staff and are very popular with folks almost queuing out the door on a Thursday Friday or Saturday so give the guys a chance.I have seen it so many times when being in the cue and folk that have telephoned orders through think they have the divine right to walk in and pick up their order in a second even though they placed it while sitting in the car outside only 4 mins before hand sorry guys we were in the Que and bothered to come in to place our order so get your fingers out.Food is good no matter what you choose so give it a try and make up your own mind

Good selection of fish and chips and an array of sauces at 30p each. Don't be put off by the bloke who looks at you funny their chips are banging!

Pre ordered this eve and simply asked if my food was ready when I went in and was just dismissed as she dealt with the next 5 people. I was with my little girl and after 10 more minutes I asked again and was spoken to so rudely and abruptly for asking again if the food id ordered on the phone 25 minutes before was infact ready, so when I spoke to her the same way she spoke to me she got the food ready!! Unbelievably rude, will never eat there again. Even my little girl who’s 6 said “wow Mummy that lady was rude”

Can’t understand how these guys are in business. Very rude staff, terrible food... and seemingly run by an idiot.

Thought I’d give this place another try after a couple years.

Have had fish, sausage and chips from here a few times now and each time I have enjoyed my chips, and the fish is nice and meaty. This is a reliable f and c shop and I will continue to use it.

This food was the best cod and chips I have ever tasted. A lovely couple who run the shop always seem busy but always have the time to communicate with the customers

Been going to Taylors for years , very friendly always remembers your face . The food tastes lovely and you get big portions .

Hemos visitado casi todo el pescado y chip tiendas en Lancing y este es uno de los mejores. Footfall tiene un constante y puede estar muy concurrido en determinados días. Ellos están dispuestos a tomar pedidos telefónicos para recogida en la tienda. El personal es muy amable. Único inconveniente es la falta de aparcamiento fuera de la tienda

Delicious fish and chips. They do fish, sausage, pies and a lot more for a reasonable price. Also they do takeout.

Always service with a smile. Lots of choice, generous portions and definitely the best Chippie in Lancing.

Run by a Chinese couple who don't speak much except the lady who when she gives you your order says thank you for the Wattings. The food always good and hot, the bar is close to the station and close to the Stanley which allows you to bring take always into their ale house so you can enjoy with a pint of real ale.

Nice fish and chips and conveniently for Lancing they are in me middle of town, open later than most and handy for late night munchies, cheap prices too Recommend

We usually go to the Penhill Fish Bar, but as it was closed for their holidays we went to Taylors and we were not disappointed. We bought fish, sausage, saveloy and chips, there were nine of us. Very happy with our meal.

The fish is nice and chunky with a flavoursome batter and not too much oil, but I was really disappointed at the chips, which are thin-cut and came in a somewhat soggy mass.As always though, everyone has their own favourite take-aways (no, it's not a sit-down restaurant) for their own reasons. The chips just didn't do it for me.

Decided to give this place another chance and wished I hadn't bothered.Greasy chips and not that many of them, plus lots of those little hard scraggy bits included.Fish was very small, utterly tasteless and batter also greasy.

Chips are okay and the fish is nice too. Sausages are very nice and battered sausage is one of my favourites. Always very polite in there and always looks clean. Not too expensive either.

By far the best Fish and chips in the village . Freshly cooked Huss when ordered . Curry sauce not the best though . Chips are plentiful so we always have a child's portion.

Visit here about once a month on average and am always impressed that its freshly cooked and staff are always happy to serve. Food tastes great and generous portions, try it.

Nice fish and chips and usually open at mealtimes (which is a bonus for Lancing). (Most of the fish and chip shops don't even open on Friday night!)

Freshly cooked fish and chips, sausages, chicken and burgers at reasonable prices. One ro rely on and unlike some its usually open.

This has been Lancing's oldest fish and chip shop for donkey's years and is consistently average by Lancing standards, rather like the rest of Lancing. Prices are reasonable and they are generally open for haute cuisine on the plus side. on the minus side I don't know when they last changed the fat as you can smell it from up the high street.

Open every day except Sunday lunchtimes and evenings and consistently good fish and chips at a reasonable price with extras like curry sauce etc. etc. recommend

Hi,Tried this last night as haven't had Fish and Chips from there for a while.Hadn't changed - Oily chips and oily, greasy batter.The actual fish was tasteless and sceptical of whether it was cod at all.They definitely do not change the oil as regular as they are supposed to.
