Blundens Fish And Chips in Adur

I went here yesterday for a sneaky battered sausage and chips, it was the best I've ever had! Chips were done to perfection, the battered sausage to perfection and the portion size was spot on! Plus the two guys in there were friendly! I highly recommend this place and will go there again and again I'm sure 😋

Love this fish & chip shop. I discovered it by accident while I was out cycling one afternoon & thought I'd give it a go. I have been back several times since my first visit & I thoroughly enjoy my meals from this shop 👍😃

The chip shop has gone down hill i dont think thay are that bothered about the customer any more ... I dont think thay care about the customer anymore gon down hill.

Six of us got various things from the Menu including fish, sausage, chips, peas, curry sauce etc. it was very tasty not at all greasy and good size portions

They were very busy due to it being a Bank Holiday, although it took a bit longer than normal, the quality of the food was fabulous as always. Very nice, friendly delivery driver too. Thank you.

Everything is cooked fresh, so though you might have to wait longer, it's well worth it. By far the best fish and chip shop in the area. Friendly and helpful service.

Great delivery guy . Despite awful weather he brought us the best Chip shop food in Shoreham . With a warm greeting from him at the door made me feel less guilty about ordering in the wind and rain first class

Best fish n' chips anywhere hands down, only dropping a strain service and atmosphere as you can't really get that in a traditional chip shop setting. When people come visit and I something different for a meal grab fish n' chips here then go sit by the river to eat.. perfect 😜

Used to be a family business, then after retirement, went downhill. Now, WOW, I have been twice, and the fish and chips are excellent. Portions are large and delicious, batter crisp and golden, not a bit greasy, the chips are lovely (not scrappy bits and ends) and the service was great. In summary - fantastic, tasty Fish and Chips.

We had the Haddock and Chips. The Fish was perfectly cooked with a deliciously crispy batter. The Chips were "Artisan" in style, and none of it was the least bit greasy or oily. The waiting area soon became crowded as it proved to be a very popular shop. We took our meal and ate it on the shore.

If you want salt and vinegar on your chips make sure to ask in the order notes. Perhaps restaurant could find a way to add this as an order option on Just Eat.

We’ve been coming to this chip shop for the last 5 years and it is best the fish and chip shop we eat from. Freshly cooked and consistently good.

We wantied a quick bite to eat ,chips were verry freshly cooked, fish was cooked beautifully, verry thin butter ,verry tasty 😋 do recommend, but is take away only . I would definitely visit again if we are in the area .

Nearly 3 hours late. Refused the order as we cooked food to see that the driver marked as delivered. Awful service and now trying to claim my money back. This shouldn’t be allowed and making it hard to claim a refund.

Moved here recently and have been looking for my new Chippy. If the quality stays this good, I'll be sticking with these guys. Everything was good, fresh, hot and delicious.

Fish was very nice but wasn't btold there would be a ten-minute wait for it without an update. However, as the fish was very good I would go there again.

Outstandingly good fish and chips, definitely worth making an effort to get to. Super fresh fish, cooked beautifully in a thin crispy batter and top notch chips as well. We had two 'small' fish and chips ( more than generous servings) plus a couple of tomato ketchup sachets and the bill was £20, very good value these days.

Unfortunately, today the food was not very warm and the fish and chips were quite stale, looking like they had been left out for a while before they could get a driver. If there was a delay in getting a driver, I feel that the food probably should have been remade fresh. We've usually had very nice food from here, but today was just a bit disappointing. Hopefully, we'll have a better experience next time.

Absolutely rip of with out chips large cod and medium cod £22 nice food but Absolutely disgusting prices with chips on both of these came to nearly £40 not goingvthere again

Two hours for delivery is not acceptable by Just Eat. Restaurant owner & food all good. No fault of them. It was Just Eat who did not provide a driver for 2 hours. By the time the good arrived we were no longer hungry

Dropped in for a portion of chips, took my money and said it would be a minute. Waited about 5 mins then someone came in who had ordered and he got his fish and chips and left. After asking I found out I was waiting for chips to be cooked and it was a full 10 minutes before I got my food..it would have been nice to have been told at the point of ordering that there was a 10 minute wait on chips.what's happened to good old fashioned service!

Best fish and chips. It’s that simple. Generous portions, extremely reasonable pricing and the perfect balance of good tasting food vs not too greasy. They don’t take card, so it’s cash only but the minor inconvenience is 100% worth it. Friendly service. Been in there before with a Just Eat driver getting a bit annoyed at something or other. Staff were apologetic and helpful; even when the issue wasn’t their fault. My food, like every time I have been previously, was hot, tasty and well portioned. Particular shout out for the kids cod and chips, which included the cutest mini cods I’ve ever seen. Both my kids prefer these to a Maccers cheeseburger (and they love those too). I’ve had many fish and chips in my time. This one trumps them all.
