The best restaurants serving Seafood food in North East

Absolutely outstanding food and service. Been wanting to try this a while and we we’re not disappointed. The lobster roll was unreal. Unfortunately no scallops today but we will definitely try them on our return. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

We ate here before Covid and truly enjoyed the lobster. Such a shame it hasnt returned as we keep visiting Seaham hoping they have returned. It was a real delight and they were so accommodating to make sure the lunch was fantastic. We can only wish them well for the future and live in hope ....

Beautiful seafood dishes. Great staff. Quaint little restaurant with a beautiful outdoor seating area. I visited for the first time today for lunch and will definitely be returning soon. Such an amazing place to have right on my doorstep. Love it!

Just had a large fish and chips,5 minute wait but it was worth it, lovely moist perfectly cooked piece of cod and fluffy chips 10 out of 10.

La primera vez que visité anoche como nos recomendaron los amigos, condujimos 40 minutos y bien valió la pena el viaje, la tienda es absolutamente impecable y la comida es definitivamente la mejor alrededor, porciones de muy buen tamaño fui grande, pero definitivamente no necesité, ya que no pude terminar todo fue absolutamente precioso 100 por ciento volveré y le dirá a la familia y amigos que lo intenten X

First time visit a couple of months ago and our meal wasnt very nice.I wrote a review and the owner replied to me immediately and invited us to visit again and have the same meal free of charge.As yet we've not been back partly due to the fact i feel rather embarrassed as I realise we possibly called at a busy time or perhaps just before closing and i think i was rather hasty with my review.I have given 5 stars as the owner got back to me straight away and apologised and invited us back for a meal which I'm sure we will enjoy as all the people who have taken time to write a rave review cant all be wrong.looking forward to a nice chippy supper tomorrow (embarrassment aside lol) watch this space!!!!!!!

Fabulous Scampi and chips made to order by lovely owners ! In a brilliant location so you can either sit inside around the perimeter of the shop or there's plenty of benches by the sea wall ! Wonderful meal after a long and wonderful walk along the beach worked up a decent appetite ! 😀

In my opinion, the burgers from Fenham Fish Bar are the best in Newcastle - with a side of chips and curry sauce 👌

Really lovely and friendly service today, on a very busy day in Redcar. Had to queue outside as they were so busy but we were kept informed and given a table quickly on the ground floor as we had our 10 month old granddaughter with us. Sarah looked after us, talked and laughed with the baby, took the pram so it was out of the way and was just really kind and helpful. The food is really well cooked traditional fish & chips and I couldn’t pick fault with anything. My granddaughter was brought cute child sized cutlery, even though we didn’t order for her (she ate from our plates). Just good service, great food and fabulous staff (who were coping brilliantly with the mass of customers). Would recommend.

Great service of a great meal in a wonderful setting. I will definitely go back.
