We ate here before Covid and truly enjoyed the lobster. Such a shame it hasnt returned as we keep visiting Seaham hoping they have returned. It was a real delight and they were so accommodating to make sure the lunch was fantastic. We can only wish them well for the future and live in hope ....

Just had to come on and leave a review, if I could leave more stars I would. So had my first try of lobster today, absolutely amazing. Chris and Caroline and the guys providing first class food and service as standard You really must visit them at Seaham Marina the next weekend you get there 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

WOW what amazing food that is always fresh and consistent with quality and flavour. Second week running and looking forward to next week already. Staff are friendly and happy to make any changes to accommodate where possible. Cannot recommend enough if you want tasty seafood. Thanks very much

Visited at the weekend. What a cool little spot, a converted horse box on the edge of the Marina . We ate Giant Fish Finger Sandwich and a Tempura Haddock and Prawn PoBoy. This is serious sandwich eating and it is reflected in the price. You'll easily spend approx £20 for two. Go here for an enjoyable, fun and delicious seaside sandwich. The service and care from the team was spot on making us welcome and feel valued.

Just give it a try. The taco with prawn or haddock is a treat. Great salad and salsa combination. Nice to have some seafood alternative to fish n chips.

Great spot for eating fish cuisine. I’ve been twice now. It’s great to have a place that can provide fresh produce at a low price. Their overheads are low because of their ‘shack’ trailer. I’ll be back.

Whats better on a hot summers day than to eat fresh lobster and muscles from a fish shack on the harbour

First visit to Seaham and we had a wonderful day. We stumbled upon the Pier East Fish Shack & Grill after finishing a walk (Durham Heritage Coast & Beacon Hill) The shack was closing up for the day but thankfully the owners took pity on 5 hungry souls and cooked us up a delight. Lobster & fries ( including salad & slaw) 😋😋😋. The food was gorgeous and hospitality given to us was wonderful. Thank you for making us smile and giving us a memory we shall always hang onto.

This is a small mobile restaurant serving locally sourced produce, mainly seafood, which is also extremely seasonal. It only has outside seating, and the menu is by its nature limited - and in the case of the seafood, to what was caught that morning, but that means it is fresh fresh fresh. We chose lobster, which was not expensive, and picked our own when it was still alive as they had literally just been delivered. It was simply grilled with a hint of chilli and served with a pomegranate and rocket salad, coleslaw and fries. It was scrummy. The mackrel served with foraged wild garlic sounded tempting as well - maybe next time if its still on. They also had on the menu crab, mussels, king prawns, haddock, seabass and cockles!! They also do a kiddies menu and quite a few were having the jumbo fishfinger sandwich - looked nice. Could have done to have the odd parasol as the sun today was fierce, but lets face it in this country thats not a frequent occurance. If you are lucky enough to catch this 'moveable feast' please try it - its a little gem.

I've been going here for years but sadly no more Last 3 time the quality has gone down along with the price going up Yesterday was my last time I bought 2 fish and chips and they were inedible absolutely disgusting Everything had a weird taste the chips were soggy and the batter on the fish was even worse Sadly the whole lot went in the bin after 2 mouth fulls Worst £19 I've ever spent

Without a doubt these were the worst fish and chips I have had in a long time. The actual fish was fine but it was coated in a thick layer of greasy stodgy batter. Nothing crisp about it at all. Similarly the chips were floppy, and greasy. In terms of size there were just too many small "chips" and not enough decent longer ones. I wish I had walked the extra 20 yards up the way to Clems chippie, it could not be worse than this was.

Aargh! We must've stood for about half an hour to get served (and the queue was barely to the door, and the place half-busy). Sullen staff, who just stand there waiting for you to speak first. Couldn't even be bothered to put the coffee onto the saucer. £4.50 for a slice of lemon cake!!! £2.50 for a tiny little cookie!!? It's a shopping outlet on the A19, not Zurich Airport. The coffee was alright, I think, I was just in a right mood after the service. I like giving the more independent places a go, but I really wished I'd gone to one of the nearby coffee chains for a drink.
