Great staff and lovely food, made whilst I waited so was nice and fresh

Undoubtedly the best fish and chips in the area…and all served with a smile, whats not to like!!! Will definitely be back whenever we want fish and chips!

Ordered food yesterday afternoon. By early hour I was sick. Possible food poisoning. Never again.

Totally discussed with this place.. thought was coming to nice cafe to have lunch with my family.. we been waiting almost 25 minutes for our food. I asked several times why our food was taking so long????? The manager creepy kept looking behind freezer but didn't want to respond. Instead sends his girl staff to apologise for delay in food. But perfectly serving customers outside efficiently????

Maybe they have new owners, something is different, they were never cheap, but now they are very expensive, take away fish and chips, food was ok but doubt we will return

I returned to this spot around 20 years after first coming and remembering how nice it was. Has definitely changed but still great seafood, and probably a bit more comfortable! The setting is great, in the harbour and the views from some of the tables are really lovely. You can make up your own seafood platter which was good value - the fresh mackerel was absolutely delicious, and we also had a fishcakes which was probably the nicest fishcake I’ve ever had. No kids menu but our children loved the fish and chips and mussels. Friendly staff and very cosy interior. Would definitely return.

Terrible food, curry sauce bland and not like a traditional curry sauce. Chips are not like traditional chips from a chippy and the bread rolls are burger buns. So poor.

Chicken was dry, pink and tasted like blood. Poor quality meat

I'm afraid the fish and chips are not good,chips were hard and cold and fish batter hard,fish not succulent.The staff were lovely though and decor great but wished we had gone to Wells .£36 lighter when we left!

6 of us had a glorious supper last night, the food and service was perfect!. The fish was white, fresh and in a gorgeous crispy batter. Chips were also hot and tasty. We had a generous portion of mushy peas too. The staff were welcoming and friendly.
