Great Take Away I think the best Fish a chips in Felixstowe, very friendly staff,very clean shop,card or cash option, most do not these days.reasonable,prices,a great order on line service.

just the right size of portions. always served nicely by someone smiling , so many chip shop staff have a grumpy persona ,but not this place, i can recommend the cod and chips

Well my fiance was working in Felixstowe, He came here to get Chips and Sausage in Batter, told me that it was really nice,the batter was light and sausage meat, light and good taste. and said that we must go there when we go to Felixstowe.

There was sixties music on the radio which suited the ambience today. Lovely fish and chips and homemade mushy pease .chips were delicious .Cards accepted. Friendly staff .Clean restaurant and we have come back a few times over the year after a brisk walk on the beach front. Price mid range but you get a good freshly cooked meal. give it a try.

Good family atmosphere with friendly service. We have visited this restaurant on previous occasions and always been happy with the food. Lovely fresh fish from local suppliers.

Been here a few times and all is good, decor could have some work done on it but my biggest gripe is the way I was dealt with at the end of the meal. Produced my card at the table, was advised I need to pay at the desk which I went to with my 3 & 4 year old in tow. Got to the desk and was told no cards, and was pointed to a small sign less than A4 size in the window.. I said could this not have been raised when I walked in or when I tried to pay at the table? "We are too busy to let you know" restaurant was less than half full.. not the sort of attitude you need from somewhere when you can take your business else where in the future... which of course I will I was pointed towards the cash point down the road with my 2 children, which one fell over and started crying with bloodied knees.. as any parent knows.. its easier to plan ahead than to deal with issues as they arise Seems its not an isolated issue.. sort your card machine out.. Its not exactly a difficult fix in this day and age..

Tripadvisor influenced our decision to visit this restaurant in the grim, faded Felixstowe. Right on the seafront , overlooking the pier. Seating upstairs allows the diner to view the 'sights'. Very friendly, efficient service with smart uniformed waitresses. We had fish and chips and scampi and chips. Very well presented and plenty if it. The chips are cooked in beef dripping (fat) which you can taste in the chips. Nice home cooked flavour. Reasonably priced fare. Extensive fish based menu

Had evening meal, then, went back last night of holiday for MORE ! Giant Cod was a good size, chips nice taste and quantity, VERY friendly staff (kindly gave little grandson a little plate of Cucumber, 'cos he loves it ) Fair price (not CHEAP, but fair for quality and quantity).

Been having haddock and chips from here for years, it never fails and its always nice. The batter is nice and thin and maybe even cooked slightly different than other places. This for me is along the same level with a well known chip shop in padstow, Aldeburgh and southwold.

We had cod and chips twice, eat in. The prices are similiar to a restaurant up the road (that looked far posher and cleaner). Was disappointed with the portion size and quality really. Glasses weren't the cleanest, overall bit grotty.

I'd been looking forward to fish and chips at the sea side all morning. Somehow they always seem to taste better but not this time. I should have guessed it wouldn't be great because we were the only people in there. The batter on the fish was the worst I've had in a long time. Both fish and chips were soggy. Tea was a tea bag in a cup with one of those little cartons of UHT milk on the side. I really don't enjoy UHT so had my tea black. My husband said his bread roll wasn't very fresh. I can't recommend this fish and chip "restaurant" to anyone and we won't be going again.

nice location cheap prices food was tasty not bad at all would come again :) the only reason I have voted average is because their is no 'good' option! it is nice to find shops like these where you can get uk style chips and Chinese style curry sauce as normally Chinese takeaways cant do chips well and uk chip shops cant do curry sauce well! Best of both worlds!

You won't get better 2 minutes from sea front ( directions ,ask for Bent Hill) it's just a little way up hill towards the shopping street. Tony A

I treated my wife and mother in law to an evening meal and we ordered a large haddock and large cod. We definitely weren't disappointed with the portion size, chips were golden and crispy, just how I like it and the fish was cooked to perfection. Glad to say we all enjoyed the meal and we will be coming back for more!

I used to go to this fish & chip shop & restaurant quite regularly in the past as this was the best Felixstowe had pre 2012, but since the likes of the Regal Fish & Chip Restaurant, and the Seafront Fish & Pie has opened, this place seems rather downbeat and pretty average. Most recent visit on 22nd July as nothing else seemed to be open seemed ok enough as I wanted some food during my visit to the coast, but the service was pretty slow (despite being the only customer in the shop) and the food was mediocre - sausage was ok but chips were undercooked and rather greasy - not that appealing. Certainly not the best fish & chip shop/restaurant in Felixstowe anymore, and only go there if nothing else is open nearby!

It was almost as though they were waiting for people to get food and eat it before serving the next person. Don't go when the sun is out. It would be quicker to cook outside

Chinese run restaurant. But don't let that fool you. If you're near Felixstowe Pier, get your fish and chips here.
