Great fish and chips at a great price (go large) 👍

Had their Haddock, chips and peas lunchtime special x2. The chips were lovely, the peas those bright green ones, not the cheap grey ones, and the batter on the haddock was light, crisp, golden and not full of oil.

Excellent haddock n chips plus mushy peas bread n butter and mug of tea tonight at Ambridges! A great experience in Spilsby at this lovely chipper, highly recommended from all our family! Very reasonably priced and delicious, what more can you want?!

I had Afternoon Tea with friends to celebrate one of their birthdays. I have never been disappointed with Aquavita whenever I have had their meals or takeaways. I certainly was not disappointed this time either.. An amazing selection of sandwiches and cakes, all delicious as was the tea. Everyone had their own cake stand with six different sandwiches and sausage roll and a crisp tampura piece of fish. ,Plus scone with jam & cream, cupcake, cheesecake, millionaire slice, chocolate brownie, plum bread & cheese. We all had doggy bags to take home because it was too much to eat and we were there for two hours. The birthday girl was delighted and we are definitely going to visit again for another meal and another Afternoon Tea. I cannot recommend this Afternoon Tea highly enough and the price was less than we had been quoted elsewhere. If you see Aquavita Catering advertised anywhere you are guaranteed quality and delicious tasting dishes..

First time in Skegness and called into for Fish and Chips, fantastic quality and unbelievable value for money , couldn’t fault the staff as some of our chips weren’t hot and were so replaced without any problems ! Portions were generous and the Spam Fritter was the best ever ! Thoroughly recommended !

*Edit for the owner who replied to my review* Nowhere in this review did I mention any children whatsoever everything I mentioned was about a fully grown adult who said he was the owner. As my review states, focus on your business rather than creating drama from nothing. *original review starts here* Came around 2 weeks ago with family was told the kitchen was shut for a deep clean so only specials or chippy menu available which was very confusing in the 6 weeks holiday. The drinks we ordered were flat which led to a huge performance from the man (he said he was the owner) about how the soda gun was broken, on the phone with someone right by our table as we were trying to eat our food which was lacklustre at best. The owner then proceeded to dance around our table for the duration of our stay, not getting the hint we were wanting to be left alone telling us a million and one things we couldn’t care less about, a party with a brewery that evening, the kitchen being closed, the weather and everything in between, we just wanted a quiet family meal. Decor inside is very strange more of a cheap boutique than a restaurant/cafe. Odd things scattered around to buy like a car boot including some hand lotions? All very confusing. Wouldn’t recommend. Definitely avoid.

First time to skegness. Picked this place as was recommended. Highly recommended after a great meal.

Live locally and use this fish and chip shop regularly. Never had a bad meal. Lovely friendly people and good food. Steak and ale pie is great.

Staff are absolutely lovely and really accommodating. Food amazing :-) I'm quite an anxious human and they put me at ease quite quickly. Breakfast a lot of choices. Would recommend it. Beds comfy, shower amazing. Only thing, would recommend bringing an extension lead incase wanting to set up a laptop to TV and such for netflix. Overall a lovely way to spend a business trip away. Thanks guys 😄

Not sure why people are giving bad reviews, this chippie is amazing! I've had several meals here while on holiday and enjoyed all of them! The chips were fresh, the cheese burgers are perfection, with tasty burger patties and cheese melted just so. Pizza (we had margarita) was full of cheese. The lone kebabs could feed more than one person! There is so much meat. All of the staff were friendly. I met the owner, a Londoner like myself, who is a cheeky chappie and had a great laugh with him.. he even gave us free chips. All in all, very hard working staff who ran around at incredible pace to ensure we got our food quickly. Only gutted that our holiday is over so we can't eat there until next year! Keep up the good work guys.
