A good traditional british seaside restaturant serving proper food. The food was great and the prices, more than fair. We attend here every year for breakfast and it's always good. The staff seemed a little quiter than usual this visit, and not quite as attentive as previous visit (it was busy, but no more than usual). My only complaint is that the restaturant appears to be getting filled with 'other things to buy'. It's a little like a market stall inside with creams and flowers dotted everywhere. It's not the place for it really. Still, a nice place to go and we'll be visiting again.

Came around 2 weeks ago with family was told the kitchen was shut for a deep clean so only specials or chippy menu available which was very confusing in the 6 weeks holiday. The drinks we ordered were flat which led to a huge performance from the man (he said he was the owner) about how the soda gun was broken, on the phone with someone right by our table as we were trying to eat our food which was lacklustre at best. The owner then proceeded to dance around our table for the duration of our stay, not getting the hint we were wanting to be left alone telling us a million and one things we couldn’t care less about, a party with a brewery that evening, the kitchen being closed, the weather and everything in between, we just wanted a quiet family meal. Decor inside is very strange more of a cheap boutique than a restaurant/cafe. Odd things scattered around to buy like a car boot including some hand lotions? All very confusing. Wouldn’t recommend. Definitely avoid.

Popped in the chippy the other night first time trying the chippy and wow amazing food loads of choice. Welcomed by a lovely lady. And it's going to be open all year round, but hours may change. They are even going to be doing a delivery service not just on chips but a roast dinner and much more.. a really nice carvery on a Sunday.. And a lovely breakfast too... Just need kebabs now 😁

I got mixed up we did go in I had fish and chips my wife had the beef carvery and jack had chicken nugget and chips and it was all lovely , the service and all involved were lovely and couldn't b more helpful in every way we will definitely go in again when we're there

The burgers are deep fried and dry, staff are miserable. I complained, and the food was snatched from me, they brought another burger this time melted cheese to cover up yet another dry burger. A person came up and basically said had we bought a gourmet burger it would have been better. We said every meal should be quality not just a gourmet one. I did say I would honestly review this place, she said with a bad attitude "I will reply" I don't want to here another thing from this place avoid I say. They did eventually refund but I'm not after free meals just a good meal would have done. Avoid!

Great breakfast. Fill your boots is massive and although almost £13 it is worth it! Food was really hot on arrival, but toast could be thicker/bigger. It just seemed small this visit. Staff are friendly and helpful.

My husband , myself and our adult daughter ate her around a week ago, great service, friendly staff, great selection of food. My husband had the cooked breakfast...on a huge plate..very tasty...i would highly recommend visiting here when youre out abd about in Ingoldmells. 🤩

Had the boot filler breakfast it was huge ! very reasonably priced great fast service in lovely setting also dog friendly also on previous occasions had the hush and chips they really good too.can't wait to try their Sunday carvery will be coming back again

We got the big mega breakfast. Service was brilliant. Lady who cooked are food was friendly. And wow can she cook. Definitely need to come here for a breakfast. It felt like man vs food challenge lol... 10 out of 10.....😄

What can I see we went for dinner ordered a carvery. Scampi basket and a chicken burger with 3 cups of tea. Top quality food will deffo be back again when visiting ingoldmell staff were brilliant can't complain about anything. 5 star well deserved from the turner family

Sat in the cafe the other night I was looking at the menu and didn't realise they did so many different dishes and the prices are very good, I then looked round the cafe and there were things for sale to buy from trinkets to more expensive items, looking round at the decorations it looked lovely outside it got dark but inside it was lovely all lights and ambience, they have done a wonderful job doing it up and they have crafted very hard to build up the clientele, there is also a bar where you can enjoy a drink with your meal, the Sunday carvery is gorgeous with the most amazing gravy.

I just held my sister‘s baby shower here the staff are amazing they go above and beyond. The catering standards couldn’t be any better. We had afternoon tea and a few added extras the food was delicious. We also had the cake made here and it was delicious..

Absolutely wonderful place! Held my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary there last month! I live in Australia so only saw photos but from what all attendees advised everything was perfect! lovely staff too! Sunday carvery is the bomb!

Stumbled upon this place whilst in Ingoldmells. We don’t live far, but we wanted a day out and saw this restaurant/chippy and give it a go. We only had some chips as we weren’t completely hungry, but all I can say is I could’ve had a second batch. The chips were cooked fresh, and they tasted absolutely delicious, so soft and succulent. The staff were very welcoming and nice and I would happily go back again!

Just been in bloke that was storming round saying breakfast closed and making sure we heard him say closing kitchen down proberly should of been polite and said he was ready for closing

The fish was batterd twice to look big it was awful the sausage was hard for kids sausage and chip .kids fish an chips adult large double batterd fish an normal batterd sausage and chips £40 it was awful .we have been many times b4 and was really nice but the last few times I think it gone down which is a pity as its a beautiful looking cafe.

Absolutely amazing. The gammon and coliflower cheese were to die for, some of the best I have ever had. The service and people were equally as amazing. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Ingoldmells, will definitely be back!

Honestly, some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. The owner and staff were brilliant with our children, 2 of which have additional needs and they were brilliant with them. 2 of us had their specials. 2 fish and chips for £21, included with that was fish, chips, choice of sides aswell as a pot of tea, and bread and butter. Kids meals were very nice sized portions. Tables were clean, as were the toilets. Honestly can't wait to return to Skegness so we can attend again. Will recommend to everyone and anyone that comes.!

Not a great experience on our first visit. The chips were slimy and fish was over cooked. Left a message. They offered a refund but we didn't want to give up on our first bad experience. Went back this week and they replaced it. Fish was a lot better but chips although looked cooked lovely still had a slimy taste, the owner pointed out they are cooked in beef dripping, this isn't to everyone's taste and is also extremely bad for your arteries, they should be cooked in oil. Won't be going back again I'm afraid - to the chip shop side, haven't tried the restaurant but if they still serve their chips after being cooked in beef dripping we will take a rain check.

Went to the chippy. Absolutely appalling. Overcooked fish, greasy hard batter. Swimming in grease. Raw potato in Yorkshire fish cake. Won't be going again. The lot went in the bin. On a lighter note the curry sauce was okay. What a waste of money!

To start with we ordered a burger and chips, side of onion rings, jacket spud and tuna and 2 drinks and it came to £32! Rip off! Secondly when I asked for the beer battered onion rings the man behind the counter who I can only prosume was the owner said we don’t have any left and instead of taking them off my order he starts moaning that he would open a fresh bottle of £6 beer to only use a little bit to make some batter, once I had paid he then said I suppose if better open this beer just to waste it, I said you could have just said no and taken off my order to which response I got was oh no we like to look after our customers, we’ll don’t bloody moan then! And the final thing we ordered a burger called moving mountains burger, we didn’t know what was on it so we was intrigued, it came and it was a bun with a burger, thick piece of tomato, thick piece of onion and lettuce and Mayo, not even any cheese! And they charge £10.95 for that! Won’t be going back again.

We ordered a bacon buttie for our 5 year old a flat white and a cappuccino....the flat white was black with a side of milk and tasted rank I couldn't drink it...waited 25 minutes so went in said I was still waiting and can I have money back for coffee....then the owner I think was very rude saying here's your money back for the buttie as we carnt wait another ten minutes....making it 45 minutes at this point...I said can I have money back for coffee as it wasn't a flat white...well...she argued it was...I said it must be filter or amerino...which that she said I'm not having this and pointing at stuff high rate I mean honestly I've never known anything like it..... Disgusted.....the cappuccino tasted of nothing but he was thirsty...

Came to Butlin’s for holiday found this place when looking to eat out food was lovely good prices and friendly staff definitely recommend

I went with my visiting family and we all enjoyed what we had. It's easy to order and very clean and fresh looking. There's a light, bright and friendly atmosphere with tasteful decor. The portions of food are freshly cooked and generous in size. A few days ago I had some fish and chips to take out and they were cooked to perfection too!

My friends and I visited here after sightseeing in the local area. We were hungry, thirsty and starting to flag. I ordered tea and cake, and my friends had a full English breakfast each. Service was with a smile and our food and drinks arrived quickly. The cake was dead nice and my friends said their meals were hot and tasty.

First time visiting two weeks ago. From the moment we walked in the staff went above and beyond to have us feel comfortable. We missed the breakfast time bracket but they let us have one anyway. Beautiful little place, fresh food, will be visiting again.

Found this place as a tourist, staff are warm and welcoming. Place is spotless, with lots of dining options. We ordered 4 all days breakfasts, and wasn't disappointed, great value for money, you can clearly tell all the food is fresh and was able to take away.

Well its under new ownership and wow 👌 spot on lovely customer service and even went out of there way to do me battered LINCOLNSHIRE sausage. Batter was fluffy and chips were so clean and tasted real fresh. Will certainly be returning. Also they serve pineapple fritters although myself (I don't like) a family member said they were the best she had tasted in a long while not greasy. Will certainly be returning 😊 . Good luck in the future and hope that everyone will give it a try well worth it.

just been again and notice they are under new management, just bought spam fritter , large battered sausage , fish cake , mushy peas , a humongous portion of chips and two pineapple fritters for less than £12. very friendly service and absolutely scrummy, i now feel pleasantly full. very happy to recommend i will be back.

Such a beautiful place , with amazing friendly staff, and amazing food. My husband and I had a fish and chips take away our fish visit to the place. It was delicious and great value for money , lovely lady Zoe he chatted and looked after us. Couldn’t resist a second takeaway later on in the week. Had breakfast before heading home to Coventry. Lovely food, great service, and amazing staff. Welcomed our dog too. Would highly recommend this beautiful place to get such a warm , friendly welcome from all the staff. During the day we sometimes walk our dogs to here and have a cuppa. They are so polite and always ask if the dogs would like some water. We have also had fish and chips to go. Wow the large fish was the size of a small whale and the chips were spot on. We love going here and always make a point of going because they deserve your custom.

First visit, wasn't sure what to expect... dining room, restaurant, was clean and well set out. Menu was varied with enough choice to tempt anyone. Service was friendly, welcoming, and fast. The food was better than promised. Very recommended.

What a hidden gem this place is, we are currently sat eating out lovely lunch now!! The staff are attentive and couldn't of helped enough! We ordered a kids box, ham and cheese panini, chips and a pie dinner and every single thing was perfect!!! The gravy for the pie was amazing and we asked if we would like it topped up! Beautiful place and will defiantly come back x

The food was nice but the staff, they was amazing. They went above and beyond to help us, our little boy was tired and having a mardy day! But this did not deter them from doing everything they could to turn him around. Nearly all the staff tried and tried. They turned him around and managed to get him to eat his breakfast aswell as turning his mood! A massive thanks to them all, would recommend to any body. When down skeg/Ingoldmells the service from places is sub par, but this place above and beyond.

Staff very nice and friendly. shame the food wasn't hot had beef roast dinner, boiled potatoes and roast potatoes cold in the centre was served up in around 10 minutes obviously precooked and reheated not very successfully. Disappointed.

Went here for an all day breakfast,it was cooked to perfection with very tasty ingredients and a large portion. Also comes with a tea or coffee included in the price so very good value. Came here for breakfast, absolutely delicious. Staff were very nice and went out of their way to give us what we asked for. Our dog was allowed in and they even offered him a sausage for breakfast. Would definately come again whenever we are up this way.

hello i am the person in the Mondeo and wow this place is nice...first the staff are the best and the bacon....basically knocked me out i could taste the effort and of course they loved my car 😂no shocker... will come back when ever we are visting good copper kettle

Visited for breakfast this morning with our 12yr old son who has Autism/learning difficulties, staff could not have done more for him, they cooked his food EXACTLY as he asked, he actually cried he was sooo happy someone actually got it right and listened to him, Food was lovely & piping hot, not over priced either, we will be back, infact we wont go anywhere else now.

We dined here twice in the week we stayed on our holiday and really enjoyed our food, it was cooked fresh and tasted great. The staff were very pleasant too.

First time since the new owners took over. Impressed to say the least. Fresh hot non greasy chips. The large fish I ordered had split in the fryer and they replaced it straight away, I know a few would still serve it so kudos! Fish was great, flaky hot again not greasy. Will be back again!

As a tourist to the area I was looking for lunch for two. There was a huge choice from this chip shop/ cafe and nice to sit down inside On the specials menu we chose fish and chips for two with pot of tea, and bread which was decent value. The food was great value and tasty and a good size portion. There was desert av available but was too full on this occasion bug worth checking out. Parking is nearby at 40p per hour Mon to Fri maybe more at weekends and Bank Holidays. The place was lovely and clean and the service was good. Was checked on to see of all was OK which is nice to see still in the hospitality industry. Would happily visit again and reccomend

When everywhere seemed closed this place had a lovely welcome for us for a wee spot of lunch. Food was great amd the staff are so friendly. They even gave the dog a Biscuit so she didn't feel left out. When we are out that way again we will be sure to call in.

Food and service absolutely disgusting. The owners attitude vile when challenged about their food and service. Both owners I have been told since are tax dodgers. Very very rude. Spend your money elsewhere.
