The Golf Hotel & Aqua Sante Spa in East Lindsey

Staff are absolutely lovely and really accommodating. Food amazing :-) I'm quite an anxious human and they put me at ease quite quickly. Breakfast a lot of choices. Would recommend it. Beds comfy, shower amazing. Only thing, would recommend bringing an extension lead incase wanting to set up a laptop to TV and such for netflix. Overall a lovely way to spend a business trip away. Thanks guys 😄

We had a fantastic meal in the restaurant. All 16 of us enjoyed it Food, service and surroundings were excellent. Would recommend and will return.

We arrived to a lovley welcome so had a high hopes for the meal. A large group of us celebrating my sisters wedding. Soon went a bit down hill when the food arrived about 3 minutes after we placed the order which was lovley but did raise alarm bells in my head do they want us out ASAP. The same happened with the mains as soon as we finished the starters. Once again everything was hot,juicy and tasty. (Maybe just 1 sausage too many) We got the desert menu at 9.15ish and once they came back out to take our order they told us the kitchen had closed so we couldn't have any. By the time we left around 9.30 all the lights where off and the place was empty one of our group had to search round in the dark for the toilet and then out comes the security guard and I swear if we had not got up and left we would have been pushed the leave. This is all around 9.30 on a Sat night. No one was drunk or loud we just wanted a ni ce meal. So if your planning on having food please go before 7pm!

We went here as a family of 4 for lunch and we were certainly not disappointed. Great food and wish we had visited before. We live in Woodhall. Most definitely our favourite place to eat in the village. Apparently the afternoon teas are amazing!

we went there during a bank holiday as many other hotels/restaurants were choc a block. we were the only ones in the bar/snack lunches area which is wonderful if you like peace and quiet, not so much if you want atmosphere. we did have to wait around 25 mins but were told that in advance, and it was well worth the wait. the 4 of us had a main course and dessert (one vegetarian), and thoroughly enjoyed the food, couldn't fault it. perhaps slightly more expensive than others in the area but only by about £1 - £2 per head. Will definitely go again.

3 ore di relax in questa spa mi hanno rigenerato. Ambienti grandi e molto curati, numero di accessi limitati che garantiscono pace e calma. Ottima la pulizia con il personale che si presenta spesso a riordinare. Consigliato!

I stayed here a couple of weeks ago prior to delivering a study day at the hotel. The room was clean and well equipped. The conference room was suitably equipped but very warm. Breakfast was rather basic. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was an incident at the hotel the night I stayed and am disappointed that despite contacting the hotel they have not responded to my request for an update.

Substantial building, nice setting and easy parking. Lacks facilities, such as golf and spa! Bar area is well laid out, large screen TV usually showing sport or news, sofas, tables so plenty of places to talk or simply watch TV. Rooms are large and I’ve stayed here many times and they are always very hot. Beds comfortable and rooms always very clean. Not eaten at the hotel for dinner, but a dining room exists. Breakfast is full English or continental, nothing special but good.

Nothing wrong with this hotel,staff very good and engaging,rooms very comfortable and spacious,breakfast was super,got no complaints at all,would definitely stay here again.

This is quite an old fashioned hotel and the rooms bear witness to this e.g. plumbing pipes running through bedrooms. The rooms are quite spacious and well decorated. It would benefit, however, from a good overhaul. We were on the ground floor and the window didn't close properly. It's as well the weather was glorious. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Had a nice steak here a while ago. Staff are good and hard working. This is a very nice place to bring anyone that you want to impress. As for the Aqua Sante Spa - it is never open!

Recently visited, staff were friendly and polite, requested a romantic room and got a nice surprise when we entered. Hotel was modern and very clean, nice bath and shower. The bar was well stocked and nice areas to chill with a bottle of wine by a real wood fire. Car park was large and the hotel was a few mins walk from the local shops and restaurants. Will be making a return visit.

Traditional hotel, good value for money. Needs a little tlc but overall a good place to stay. Food is good and has ample car parking

Not sure what other reviewers are complaining about - this place is old so yes, the windows aren't double glazed and are a bit stiff with wood frames that are a bit tatty and yes the bathrooms are modern and amazing like a Central London hotel but what it lacks in mod cons, it more than makes up for in customer service. The staff were all more than accommodating, friendly and only too happy to help with anything and everything. The room was large, clean and perfect for our overnight needs and there was a huge TV and tea/coffee making facilities should you require them. The breakfast was adequate and bar was nice with a great seating area inside and outside. All in all we thought it was brilliant value for money - £85 for two including breakfast and only a 5 minute walk from the town one way or the Woodhall Spa Golf Club the other.

Visitamos el sábado por la noche de la 40 semana. Esperábamos el restaurante muy concurrida pero no es el caso. La comida estaba bien, pero thete no fue una buena oferta de elección. Los precios eran de £19. 95 por 2 campos o £24. 95 por 3. Yo tenía el trío de patés para empezar, y esto fue realmente agradable. Dos buenas porciones de paté con una tercera viene servido en un poco ácido. Sabroso, pero hubiera beneficiado de un poco más de pan tostado. Tuve el solomillo para el plato principal y estuvo bien, pero soy un restaurante del hotel me esperaba la calidad de la carne un poco mejor carnicería local en lugar de Aldi. Aunque el acompañamiento casa chips fueron buenas. Aunque el restaurante no estaba muy lleno, el servicio era lento y muy desorganizado y la habitación en sí era escaso en la atmósfera. En general, pasamos la mañana noche bien, pero buscaré en otro lugar el próximo año.

Llamamos sin reserva, porque algunos otros planes que tenía cayó por, y nos gustó que pudieron darnos.

Que una familia de 8 estaba parando en el camino para una ocasión familiar y tenía una mesa reservada en el restaurante para celebrar, ya que pensamos que este sería un buen lugar para comer. 3 de nuestro grupo había pedido el paté para empezar, pero esto sólo puede ser descrito como degustación y tener la textura misma como comida para perros. Cuando informar a la camarera cambiaron para cóctel de gambas pero las gambas eran malos. Para los platos principales 3 de nuestro grupo, que consistía sólo ordenados sobresaliente de la grasa y la carne no les dejando sólo tener patatas fritas para sus principales. Al decir que la camarera y mostrando su precio menú reducido a que todavía les dejé pagando £9 por un plato de sopa de tomate 1 era que los otros langostinos de caucho y persona. Este tenía Arruinó la noche especial planeado y no recomendaría a nadie comiendo allí.

Stayed for 1940s weekend, agency staff, didn't know what they were doing and no guidance, but worked extremely long hours, owners were not interested in concerns raised.

Excellent Sunday lunch great value and something a bit different on menu. My partner loves the pate and he asked for extra toast not a problem! I had Indian selection for starter delicious and the roast beef and gravy fab!

The rooms were large and well appointed but the whole place could do with some tlc. Shortage of staff also.

Buen menú variado para la cena. Una buena lista de vinos de precio razonable. Buen servicio amable, aunque el hotel no era de ninguna manera completa, así que podría cambiar si completo.

Cavernous restaurant, devoid of atmosphere and in need of a complete refurbishment. Vaulted ceilings and lack of soft furnishings means acoustics are terrible - a group of 20 people seated in the centre sounded more like a football crowd at a major stadium. Walls in need of replastering - wall lights highlight all defects. Food quality reasonable but sloppy service - wine arrived after the main course and only after reminding the waitress that we had ordered a bottle. One waitress was completely confused about where the vegetables and horseradish sauce needed to be placed - offered it with fish and chip meal rather than the roast beef.Not recommended and won't be going back.

This is a very nice hotel which needs a little modernising but for a two night romantic stay it was very nice - good cocktails and rooms were very comfortable

Clean and tidy. Very friendly staff. Could have done with more staff on a very business night but did not detract from an enjoyable stay.

After a visit to the Kinema we had afternoon tea. It was beautifully presented with tasty sandwiches and cakes which were a work of art. The staff were welcoming and courteous.

Have eaten here twice now, and the food has been excellent both times. Not many people eat in the golf hotel but I don't understand why, we'll definitely be going back. Our first meal there was a family dinner on new years day and everyone commented on the good quality so we decided to go back again, and it was just as good second time round.

On first seeing this hotel I thought it was going to be a Tudor mansion. How wrong. Inside was very confusing with a strange set up of rooms. I was allocated a room without a view, where the bathroom was larger than the bedroom ( or so it seemed). Divided to eat in the bar, and wasn't disappointed by the food which was excellent. However, due to a real shortage of staff and customers eat on my own. No atmosphere at all. Breakfast was similar, just me. Would use again but probably eat out to see if there is a bit of life somewhere in Woodhall Spa. Also the Spa was shut for some reason.

We went here on Sunday with some friends, for lunch. To be fair out of all the nice places in Woodhall this was the only one that had any space as it was Valentines Days. But then when you get there you realise why! It took a while to make ourselves understood at the bar with the non-English speaking staff, although they did try hard to please. The place was devoid of atmosphere and EMPTY of people. The dining room they took us to was like a Scout Hall. Its Magnlolia walls, old net curtains at the windows, bare floor, missing skirting boards and horrible spot lights did nothing to add any degree of atmosphere or professionalism to the place. It was freezing cold as icy air blasts through the open slots in the wall from the automatic reception door constantly opening and closing. THe food tasted odd! Roast Beef has never tasted like that in my opinion. The serving staff do try hard to present an image and are very polite, but the whole place is sadly in need of being owned by someone who has a clue how to run a hotel, how to decorate, and how to run a restaurant properly. It lacks in all ways.

Lovely hotel with great food and all mod cons. The service was excellent and the staff really went out of their way to make us welcome.

Beautiful hotel with fabulous surroundings. Very reasonable too. Will return. Attended a family wedding.

We had 40 golfers ate here. We all pre-ordered and got a good choice. Most went for the steak and they were excellent. The food for all 3 courses was very good. service was good. The Bar area has one of the largest TVscreens I have ever seen if you are into sport.

Not been for a while, keep forgetting it's there, we use to live opposite in Alexandra apartments. It was a nice sunny day so we( 4 people) had a couple of drinks, sat outside on the patio. It's had some money spent on it, decor nice and clean. Drink prices were more competitive than the Inn. Pleasant service.

The room was big very large and comfortable bed. large flat screen tv. Clean bathroom with excellent shower and bath. The room was very warm

We thought the bar looked very cold and uninviting which surprised us as it looked homely from the outside. Too modern, and we prefer the Petwood Hotel.

Needs help with fixtures and fittings and poor bathrooms! Cracked sinks and missing shelves, Take a look in the garden and discover the chard relics of last years bonfire! Please we left all this behind in the 60s.

We went for a meal with friends who were staying there and were pleasantly surprised by the food. Pretty standard fayre but nicely served if not just a little overpriced. Better than the Woodhall Spa Hotel Bistro and it's recent rebrand and rebuild.
