Fishmania in East Lindsey

Not sure why people are giving bad reviews, this chippie is amazing! I've had several meals here while on holiday and enjoyed all of them! The chips were fresh, the cheese burgers are perfection, with tasty burger patties and cheese melted just so. Pizza (we had margarita) was full of cheese. The lone kebabs could feed more than one person! There is so much meat. All of the staff were friendly. I met the owner, a Londoner like myself, who is a cheeky chappie and had a great laugh with him.. he even gave us free chips. All in all, very hard working staff who ran around at incredible pace to ensure we got our food quickly. Only gutted that our holiday is over so we can't eat there until next year! Keep up the good work guys.

Went to this fish shop at 6.00pm to be told , we are shutting, I said I only wanted a fish, peas and curry. Was nearly sort of £10. To get to the van to open the fish, was absolutely disgusting at it, the tiniest fish I've ever saw, hardly no batter. Its says it shuts at 9pm. Won't be going to this fish shop ever again, avoid if at all cost

Ordered chips there were hardly any the gravy was like piss water!! Awful then we Ordered a pineapple fritter never in my life have I had one inbetween potatoes. And there was still flour in the middle it was raw an dough never again will I go there. SHOCKING

Called into this Fish Shop as we had been travelling a lond distance. The food was at best average, not good value for money, the food was greasy, the eating area was just about acceptable but, it should be better maintained. Don't know if I will be visiting again. Shame!

Words I’d use for the food I got here wouldn’t be allowed on trip advisor. Absolutely terrible. Bland stale fish, undercooked chips, almost white yet still managed to be greasy. An open bin next to the table where other customers had dumped their half eaten rubbish food didn’t help the overall dirty impression of the place . Family of 5 , fish, nuggets , burger and a battered sausage all with the aforementioned raw chips, 5 cans of coke, £31.50 and the only edible thing was the cans of coke. Avoid

Called in for fish and chips woman serving was just taking money and orders not serving people !!!! In the end she had over 11 orders to get ready Organised chaos why not just serve peope and that’s it. Chips terrible soggy and tasteless fish batter not crispy and wet inside this is because it had been sat there for 20 mins whilst the counter woman was taking orders and money. Obviously run by idiots Avoid it’s not great food and you will need 30 mins to get your food. Keep away

Small portions for money. Staff member very rude, too much trouble to wrap the order. No taste to food, fish not cooked properly.

Just got two large bags of chips got them back to van and no-one could eat them they were the worst chips we have ever had I think they had re cooked them,will not be going back to fishmania.

This evening me and my partner called at the recently renamed “frydays” fish and chip shop. Having been at the coast all day (had fish and chips in Skegness for lunch) we decided to grab a “large” kebab wrap and chips to share for tea before heading home. Service was poor, no eye contact, the female behind the till looked like she didn’t want to be there. It appeared the guy making the wrap didn’t quite know what he was doing. We paid £5.95 for the wrap and I’m sorry to say, but it was very disappointing. An ALDI wrap with maybe 3-4 bits of meat a bit of salad and more sauce than anything. It was not shareable so I dread to think what a small wrap is! Will not recommend and will not return.

I always have a mania for the fish of the sea. We Dutch guys love its succulent white flesh and this Dutch guy loves English fish and chips too. My friend Marvin who has relationship issues and I visited Fishmania in the hope of satisfying our Dutch appetites. As a fish maniac I was adequately satisfied with the fish I received although basic manners from the serving staff would not go amiss ?

Visited this place on 2 occasions - can't fault the food whatsoever. Really nice. Wasn't impressed with the lady serving though - I asked for some salt and vinegar on my food before it was wrapped. The lady slammed it on the worktop and walked off looking really inconvenienced. It's put me off visiting again - the food could be 5* but bad manners tarnish it all!

Fish and chips were a bit greasy but taste fantastic, hey you're on holiday spoil yourself It's not a classy place, it's a proper sea side chippy

The best fish and chips I’ve had in years. Service was good too. Very pleasant meal all in all. Also the food was cooked to order.

Great service, great food! Would highly recommend we love it! Only criticism would have to be the plastic forks were a bit naff the fish was hot and melted them but did not matter as the food was amazing so didn’t take long to eat! Will deffo be back when we visit next time 👍🏼

Called for fish and chips they were cooked fresh to order bit of a wait but well worth it as they are delicious good quality fish and lovely chips x you can eat in or sit outside x also dog friendly so great after a long beach walk xx not fancy looking but clean and tidy xx

We eat here every time we come to Skegness/Ingoldmells and it never disappoints! They serve the best fish and chips around! Prices are a little on the high side but it is well worth it for what you get. Would always recommend!

Called in this chip shop for a lovely portion of fish and chips, the staff were very welcoming and the chips were very nice, the Fish was pure white inside and the batter crispy , lovely jubbly.

We had an interesting week holiday venturing the strange natives of village mentality.

The food is allways great. It's perfect for familYs and the area very friendly. They do all different foods like pizza that are amazing.

I had chips and curry every day at this place £2.60 not bad and tasted great very nice staff you have many chip shops in ingoldmells but certainly this place the best

Toda la familia nos encantó la comida. El personal es muy amable y la relación calidad-precio. recién hecho. Sin duda volveremos a visitar.

Probé este "fish and chips" después de leer los comentarios, como otras tiendas de peces tienes a la orden, lo que significa que va a ser grasienta. Este fue el caso aquí, peces atrapados a tomar un papel todo el lado de la pasta, de cuerpo completo de pescado y patatas fritas era gris, tenía un montón de cosas, sharp scrappy mal y el personal era lo suficientemente amable.

We always look forward to having Fish and Chips when we arrive in Ingoldmells and Fishmania is the Fish and Chip Shop we always use. It has been the same shop for many nyears, the Fishn is fairy large and the Chips are also fairly large. T he quality couold be slighly improved by way of cooking the food in a different manner.

This is hands down the best chippy in Ingoldmells. The value for money is great, reasonable price & nice food. My favourites are the cod roe & saveloys, the little one loves the pizza, other half loves the sausage chips n gravy & the in-laws love the fish. Been eating here for years on holiday, intend to continue doing so for as long as they are open

We found this chippy on our first night (Saturday) we had fish chips and peas the fish was cooked to order and was really tasty we ordered a medium sized fish and was massive the portions were plenty big enough (I'm a big lad). Another time we used it we had pizza meal 12"pizza cheesy garlic pizza bread chips we had pepperoni pizza there was plenty of toppings on and the garlic bread was really cheesy (although I think they put to much cheese on by mistake) would highly recommend this place to anyone

I found this place on my last night in Ingoldmells. Food was good, served red hot and with a smile. What more could I ask for?

Was waiting for the caravan keys so took a stroll round the area we went into eat outside and noticed the restraunt so we ordered and sat in food nice and hot and a great fish n chip special with tea and bread included they also have a great selection of range on the menu that includes potatoes great friendly atmosphere and 5 stars hygiene rated displayed will definately be back again

we fancied some chips later on at night and to be honest they weren't brilliant..chips were soggy batter hard on sausages and not much choice @8.00pm I thought

Came in with my mother in law had lovely chips all cooked fresh ! Fish lovely and fresh ! Will be visiting again!

We were staying nearby for only 2 nights but visited this chippy 4 times as we've used it before and it's delicious! The staff are great considering how busy they are and the prices are good. The chips are scrummy and their spam fritters are to die for!

Went to this chippy tonight. Was bit busy but didnt mind waiting. Had used the other chippy down the road and it was rubbish so decided to try these. Well what can i say. The chips were lovely. Lovely golden batter and nice size fish. Would recomend this place anyday.

Really good the batter on the fish is cooked to perfection. In the season don't be put off if you have to queue it's well worth it.

This has gotta be the best chippy in Ingoldmells. Staff made you feel welcome and the meals were value for money.

Out of all the chip shops in Ingoldmells this has to be the best, been going here for years now, Not only is the food first class Liz and her partner always make you feel welcome. If you want a good portion of fish and chips this has to be the place.

Lovely food , quick and friendly service.Try the pizza's......you won't regret it because they are lovely.
