The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

Booked table for 2pm got table at 2/55 .beef was very fatty .veg very under cooked. Lack of gravy.york pudding very over done and full of oil. Complained and bill went from £130 to £116 for 3 people including pudding and 3 drinks. Why are tips included? Should be on service ? Not be going back. over priced for what it is

Although it's called the Golden Fish it serves Chinese Food. We were staying nearby in a Houseboat, we rang in our order and collected it 15 minuts later. The food was really good, plenty of meat in the mixed chop suey and mixed sweet and sour. Large portions too. A delicious meal.

Was looking forward to a treat night so had my heart set on fish and chips! What a Waste of a tenner! Chips were refried, fish was overcooked and salty and the peas were stone cold! Service was frosty as well! Won’t be back!

Booked in advance for a party of 12. No advanced orders required, which was good. The system they have is you have to go to the bar and order. So, when there are 6 couples placing 6 orders. The food doesnt then come out together and some people had finished eating before others had received their food. The chicken on my salad was dry and overcooked. My wife ordered jacket potato but they had run out of them! There were chips and crayons all over the floor. The staff were reasonably pleasant and the views spectacular but those 2 plus points wouldnt be enough to tempt me back.

Really great fish and chips but the Korean food is outstanding - try the avacado and lime salad with spicy Korean chicken - really great. All the Poke bowls are fantastic

Have to say its great that Freds family are back running the shop. Had the best cod and chips 2 nights ago and enough chips for the 2 of us! Lovely chat whilst waiting for food to be cooked fresh. Will be a regular visitor again

Esto solía ser un chippy local lo suficientemente decente, pero en el último año aproximadamente, posiblemente debido al cambio en la gestión, la calidad de los alimentos se ha deteriorado gravemente y al mismo tiempo que los precios han aumentado. Ya no se recomienda tristemente.

I went to Southminster fish bar tonight for a cod and chips for me and the Mrs. I ask if it could be cooked fresh. When I got home what a load of rubbish. The chips were dry and disgusting and the fish was terrible. We won’t be eating from the southminster fish bar again. Disgusting

The fish was like 2 smaller pieces together with the centre of fish missing. Chips was miniscule to say the least for a large portion and not the best at all far from it. Not again I would rather pay for delivery from Retford.

Chips tasted like they had been reheated several times, sausage wasn’t cooked!!! Man very rude, and lady serving needed to wash her hands!!!! Short changed us too! Will defo not be going back

i have been going here every Friday at 6pm for the last 3 years, amazing and fast service and the best fish and chips i’ve ever had.

Lovely lamb kebab Doner kebab also ! The salad was fresh and tasty ! Chips are freshly cooked and best in the area! Lovely staff too !

Este Chippy está bajo una gestión relativamente nueva y es mucho mejor ahora. Es un negocio familiar con mamá siempre haciendo la fritura cuando he estado dentro. Toda la familia es muy amable. Todo está recién preparado para ordenar, así que espere un poco de espera (o llame primero a su orden). ¡Vale la pena esperar! Prefiero los alimentos recién preparados en comparación con los alimentos que se han mantenido en el calentador durante horas. Las porciones son realmente muy generosas, las patatas fritas son las correctas, y el pescado está rebozado por expertos. El pescado y las patatas fritas se envuelven por separado, como debe ser. ¡Excelente! Y el pollo Tikka es agua la boca - incluso se me permitió probarlo antes de comprarlo. Excelente. Sin duda merece la pena una visita si estás cerca o de paso. Un año después y sigo yendo a este chippy cada semana porque han mantenido sus altos estándares y nunca me ha decepcionado. El pescado y las patatas fritas son simplemente exuberantes y el personal de la familia es tan encantador y amable.

Everything was flavourless the sausage needed cooking more the kebab meat greasy with no flavour at all an the chip were soggy best thing there was the salad put more effort in an put your prices down if gunna sell poor quality food
