Honestly easily the best restaurant in Bluewater. The food, service and hospitality are just amazing. My family and I have been visiting the restaurant for many years and have never had a bad experience. It is faultless, the food, service and price. Carlos and all his team are just sublime.

Patricia in Nando’s bluewater had such amazing customer service skills she sat me and my 1 year old down and because I was by myself as soon as I went up to ordered I ordered a refillable drink and she immediately told me if I needed any help to fill it up let her know and she’ll be happy to fill it up, I didn’t want to bother her so started getting up to do it immediately she told me she’d do it! Amazing and adaptable customer service! Definitely made my nerves of coming out with my one year old be put at ease! Thank you Patricia

We ordered at the counter here to takeaway and waited far too long for our food. There was only 1 person ahead of us and although the café area and terrace were busy, there seemed to be a great deal of staff doing very little. For a seaside takeaway I've never waited longer. We ordered 1 x jumbo sausage with child's chips which turned out to be not a jumbo sausage but a standard sized shrivelled up, very dry and overcooked inedible sausage. Scampi and chips - offered the option of small or large by the girl a the counter - somewhat thrown as the board did not specify a size but just offered scampi and chips at £6.90. I opted for small (envisioning oversized chip shop mountainous portions!) and was charged £6.90 as specified on the board - the portion consisted of 5 pieces of scampi and a portion of chips equal to the childs portion - disgraceful for the price. A portion of chips by the way, is around £2 so for 5 tiny pieces of scampi I was charged £4. What on earth would I have been charged for a large portion?!The cod and chips was handed over the counter by the girl "child's cod and chips?" "No we ordered an adults cod and chips and a childs sausage and chips" "oh yes sorry It is an adults portion". Well I can say with almost complete certainty that it was a childs portion and was a mistake on their part that they tried to cover up. Either that or the portions of cod here are the smallest seen anywhere on the South Coast of England. Tiny, thin and really really overcooked and dried out to a crisp. To add insult to injury, after our long wait, all the chips we were served were soggy, very undercooked and "potatoey" rather than chipped. We paid £17 for our measly lunch. After lunch we passed a number of other fish and chip outlets all of which charged around £2 less per dish and looked superior. Go elsewhere. Very poor indeed.

Firstly I want to say how lovely the staff are! Really great! However… We’ve been getting take aways from here for a while and it’s always been good. My mum is visiting at the moment so we popped over yesterday to eat in. I was so disappointed. Not sure if it’s a cost cutting measure, but the chips were not ‘chippy’ chips but looked and tasted like pre-cut bought-in frozen, processed style ones. My fish was wet and mushy. It’s only a guess, but this may be a sign of it being frozen. Just under £60 for three, for a cup of tea each and three cod and chips (and one mushy peas). I don’t mind paying for good food, but not for this. It didn’t even resemble traditional fish and chips. God knows what’s going on at Eric’s but we won’t be going back!

Thought we'd give it a shot to have real seafood, not fish and chips. They do have real seafood, but a very limited menu, and the chef seems to be a bit afraid of spices and salt. Fairly bland food overall, though the balsamic reduction on the veg was nice. It didn't help that when we asked for salt (there was none on the table) it exploded on the side of my wife's plate. Luckily, most of the salt explosion stayed on the side, leaving just enough on the food to make it OK. I didn't argue the bill, but I also don't think I'd return.

Dangerous roll of corrugated steel left at the end of the pier that I walked into and tore my trousers that can’t be repaired. Also I’m disabled, and I suffered an open wound to my back leg (I have lymphoedema) so a bit ridiculous. Clearly a health & safety hazard. I’ve left a message on the pier owners voicemail.
