Banging cod and chips cooked fresh and staff are lovely overall a great experience and would definitely recommend to everyone

Fantastic welcome very friendly food is fantastic nicely cooked chips done exactly how I like good amount of batter Good portion sizes struggled to finish all the chips I was given. Clean and tidy… will be visiting again.

Hi and thanks for reading this review. I'll cut to the chase, went on Tuesday... Small chicken kebad and a quarter pounder... Food cooked perfectly. Wednesday, up'd the game with small meat n chips plus curry sauce... Delicious. Now... Friday night... Hit them hard with a peak time otder and the place was packed with customers and phone orders...Had to wait for 15mins but food and order was spot on....Very Well Organised Chaos is it's best description. Cannot fault the place at all... Food, hot fresh and as I ordered... Staff, polite and attentive... Order time, Great as all made to order 😁 Yet to try the fish as I am sceptical of fish from anywhere but I'm guessing it will be great too. Well done to Everyone at Ozzies Plaice you are doing a fantastic job. P. S curry sauce is to die for 😁

Ozzie’s Plaice’s new owners are doing a fantastic job! The burgers were spectacular and very well priced! I would definitely go back again and recommend you all to go as well. The food was fresh and did not take long to make. Fabulous!

Been coming here 10 years Beautiful size donor and burgers The meat and chips and a donor kebabs very nice portions but unfortunately on this visit large meat and chips was size small it was like a kids meal which was very disappointing but we payed for a large 😩💯👎

We went to Grain on a random day out and had fish and chips from Ozzies. The gentleman that served us was charming and polite and the food was fresh and delicious. The portions were just right and it was excellent value for money.

We went on a very busy Sunday. The service was good, and the staff friendly, but the food was a disappointment. I had Haddock and chips and my wife had Cod and chips with mushy peas. It could have been any fish - it had no taste, and it was over cooked.

We always enjoy the food we get from Ozzies. Not only is the food tasty, the staff are friendly, helpful and cannot do enough for you. There is somewhere to sit down and eat your food while having a chat with the owner and staff, is always clean and tidy in this takeaway.

The owner is a lovely man who would do anything to help anyone. Staff are all nice. Everyone moans about The food, but in village a lot of people would be lost without It on their doorstep!!!

The owner is rude and when I was in there he was talking to his staff like dirt. The food is very hit and miss but i would not say very good overall.

The kebabs are very nice😀 but everything else is so oily the cod tastes like not even cod just the cheap fish full of oil taste like jelly not happy and the chicken fried oh my God soaking with oil and the chips are not fresh you going there but 8 o'clock pm chips are hard not freshly cooked which I've paid for 😡

Quite happy with the lovely fish. Chips not bad xxx in grain. Only fish n chips allowed in town not a lot else I can say

If you are ever in the Isle of Grain avoid this plaice like the plague, It will rate high on your miss list if you are silly enough to take a chance, quite often the old fat smell hits you as you walk down the road, lack of hygiene does not seem to be an issue, It is loosely termed takeaway, if you buy anything from there by the time you get it home the best thing to do is chuckaway.
