Quality Kebab Fish Bar in Medway

Ordered battered sausage and chips, really disappointed, the batter was not crispy and was very soggy with grease, chips were way to thick and again soggy. Also portion size of chips was massive, 3 heaped scoops, unable to eat all of them, resulting having to throw them away, such a waste of food

The food here is lovely and I think nicer than Masters. The salad is the best 😍

I must say it was the best fish &chips in town. Very fresh cod with a very tasty batter and a huge portion of chips. We have received a very friendly and polite service with less waiting time. We have decided to buy from here today onwards.

Best fish and chips ever, the whole family agrees! The batter is everything you could possibly want, light, crispy and thankfully not swimming in oil. The chips are proper chips, done to perfection. So good that even my elderly neighbour must have a portion every visit. The kebab is delicious, again tasty and fresh (quality) but the jewel in the kebab has to be the best homemade chilli sauce I've ever had. This family run takeaway is so friendly that my 9 year old son wants to work here. We will see you soon.

Best kabab shop ever.i don't eat kababs from any were else.they don't deliver but I don't mind walking the Extra 20 mins to collect it, rather than haveing a delivery from somewere else and end up eating dog meat

Good place, only con is that it can't fit too many people, more of a take away. The lamb doner is good but at times can be a little salty. The owner is a gentleman.

So lucky to have this place 4 minutes from my house. It really is top quality. My friends and neighbours rave about the fish and chips but the kebabs are perfect, in my opinion. Use their app and get a discount. Very highly recommended!

I’ve been to this takeaway on a number of occasions now after being recommended to it by a number of friends. Each time the fish and chips have been excellent. I’ll often drive to Riverside country park afterwards to eat them and they are still hot. The friendly service is also of the highest quality. Would highly recommend to anyone. Great for a pre match fish and chips meal

I stopped using this place as a kebab shop a long time ago because their donner meat was always full of hard bits. Im fussy about my donner meat, and always wasted more than I ate because of this. I continued to use it as a chip shop for burgers and things, and the food was always good. And when they said you get 10% off if you order online, I started doing that. Unfortunately, the last 3 or 4 times I've used them there's been things missing from my order, an its a real pain. I dont like to put negative things on my reviews, and have avoided reviewing this place because of this. I was hoping that it was just a one off, or a bit of bad luck or something. But this many times in a row is just a bit much. I dont live far, and I'm sure they'd be more than happy to sort it if I were to go back. But I just dont think I should have to. I dont understand why it seems so difficult to go through a list making sure an orders correct before its packed up to go out. Other than the lamb donner meat, the food is good, and they all seem friendly enough. But I'd definitely suggest checking your order fully before leaving there.

I ordered a kebab for myself and my fiancee my kebab was correct but my fiancee ordered a large lamb kebab and when it arrived 30 minutes Late then the just eat stated it would be delivered the lamb kebab was not large but just a small portion

Poor experience and worst welcome into the shop no greeting at all considering I was smiling and said hello. Just a straight face welcome without any speech. Very judgemental staff behind the counter - dirty looks all round from staff. When asking the staff why they was how they are they had nothing to say for themselves. Can’t comment on the food as walked out within the space of a minute...

The fish was very tasty and also the chips where good. Both my son's ate and me as an adult from a large cod and chips and had been satisfied 😁

If you want a good place to go to for Fish n Chips then look no further 👏🏻👍🏻 The fish is always cooked fresh for me and the portions of chips are very generous. The staff are chatty and nice, also their Kebabs are excellent, chicken pieces are chunky and salad fresh, I’m not as keen on their marinade, too much coriander I think but it’s still a good kebab. Hats off to ya for still keeping a good food service going in these uncertain times. 👏🏻👏🏻

Placed an order for delivery through their website. Really simple ordering process etc and contact free delivery. Only problem was when the food arrived - only just warm, battered sausages were soggy, chips weren't cooked enough and the chicken used for the chicken donor was fatty. 3 out of the 4 of us didn't eat the food at all. Shame, was hoping for good things but won't be ordering from here again.

Avoid, attitude from behind the counter. Stick with the other places nearby! Much better food elsewhere

New to the area and have been checking out the kebab places. I rely on google reviews alot so i know this place is worthy of a 5 star. Been using a couple of kebabs but this takes the cake. Quick service, clean and fresh food. Salads crunchy, right amount of chillies and portions are generous. Purchased the large chicken doner kebab and that's definitely done it for me. Love it.Price very affordable.

Poor at best!! Staff is either clueless or rude and always slow. Food has no taste. Been a few time they get the order wrong. And everything seems to much effort there. Will not be returning. Much better places around.

No problem with food or staff here, but what did put me off from going here again is the loud aggressive sounding music blaring out while I was here. Same with many places nowadays - they insist on having constant rubbish music playing (usually commercial radio stations).

Part of our fortnightly match day experience and has been throughout the Football Season since 2003. Park the car in the Church just the other side of the barrier, give the nice people the parking money and walk up, cross the barrier or bridge, past the new Sainsbury’s and old Co-Op, arrive there just as the brother in law and his boys arrive and in we go for our Meat and chips and Chicken and chips, couple of fizzy drinks, the staff are always friendly and know us and what we usually order. Eat up either inside at the back just under the TV or outside just over the road. Quality Kebab and Fish Bar do as it says, no fuss, just quality. Off to Priestfield’s (Gillingham FC) feeling full.

We are regulars and only ever get fish and chips. However recently the fish has been very rubbery in the middle. You won’t know until you start eating it. It does not look or feel safe or healthy. However all other times the fish has been very good hence why we became regulars. But for the safety of local consumers please avoid the fish. The owner is aware as he said he was sold a bad batch of fish.

Service was good, had to wait a little for the food but to be expected on a Friday night. The food was okay, fresh chips and fresh fish but the fish was extremely oily.

I'm a big fan or ordering takeaways especially kebabs so I know where to order a decent kebab in the area but I've never ordered from this shop, after being told about Quality Kebab Shop I thought I'd give it a try to my disappointment! I ordered a Quality Special which is basically a mix of everything including salad and I also ordered chips. It was the WORST Kebab I've ever had. The kebab was all dried up, the donner meat was NOT edible, the Korte was so dried up and flavourless, the salad looked and tasted days old the chips and pitta bread were the only fresh half decent edible part of of the takeaway! And let's face it I'm not a judgemental person but the workers there didn't look the cleanest of people sorry to say. The reviews on here about Quality Kebab being great etc are rubbish all I can say is the customers who have wrote good reviews on this place haven't lived and need to try other takeaways to realise what there missing!(no offense intended)! There is no comparison you will NEVER go back to this shop again!
