Thought I'd try something different chicken Donner for a change absolutely the worst thing I have ever attempted to eat, didn't taste fresh tastes like it had been sitting in a pot keeping warm and the taste was disgusting, think I'll stick to their fish and chips in future as kebab was worst I've ever had

Order from them every single week yet deliver me a frozen inedible dessert and won’t offer a refund!

So this is an amended review, I’ve lived local to wells road fish bar for 5 years and it was always the best around, sadly no longer, been twice in the last couple of weeks and it’s gone downhill, portion sizes have reduced substantially, today was the final stray. The pic is meant to be a large rock!!! No way, two pieces both small and one of them tasted horrid and was just not editable. I’ll go elsewhere from now on

The worst chicken shish I have ever eaten (this is not an exaggeration!)… chicken was so thin and not chunks like you would normally expect. Onion rings were soggy like they had been sitting under the hot counter for a few hours. Never again.

Ordered a large cod and a small chips separately, but for some reason it came in one box together. The chips were ment for one person and the cod another, because it was in the same box it had all stuck together. If you order something separately it should come separately. Kabab so greasy, it all went straight in the bin. Now ordering something else.

Great food, well cooked and very tasty, they even get the special instructions right everytime, have ordered before and will definitely continue to order, 10 stars if I could give more on here,

If I could give 0 I would ordered a chicken doner and chips got home it looked like something that came out the back end of a donkey and more oil than most petroleum companies have even the dog turned his nose up to it

Whenever I've ordered food from here, it has been delicious. Hot fresh and on time. The cod is always fresh and batter is great. Surprised to see negative reviews as thi is my go to, I'm really fussy but always great food here

Great quality food and service/delivery.

I ordered a Cornish pasty. It was anemic looking but the pastry was tough could only eat the middle but even that wasn't very nice. My husband had cod which was mediocre. Will not order from them again

We were very disappointed with having French fries instead of proper chip shop chips and they were barely warm so we’re binned.

Ordered a selection of food, freshly cooked when order placed. Good portion for xl chips, fish was tasty & batter crispy, other food was tasty also. Was nice and hot still when we got home. Can across it by chance & would use again

Food is fantastic, cannot fault the food at all. However, my order came over an hour late. When I requested some money back I was refused on account of the restaurant being "busier than expected". I'm sorry but you shouldn't be giving out delivery times if you can't keep to them, and to be *over an hour* late is absurd. If matters were so far out of your hands, common courtesy would have been to refund me part of my order. Makes me think twice about ordering from here again I'm afraid.

Ordered at 5 and it’s 7 and still don’t have my order

Food arrived late, by which time it had lost its heat and as such was almost inedible. Shame as previous experience at the restaurant had all been good

best way to get a kebab with real chips. not those frozen chips that come with other kebab places.

Ordered at 8:30pm food arrived 9:50pm, did get a call at 9:30pm explaining about traffic, food was nearly stone cold, such a shame as it was my wife’s birthday, we had had a terrible day and that was just the icing on the cake, cold battered fish is so disappointing to eat

Delivered by man with good manners ! Kebabs were delicious ! Only downside was portions can be bigger(to compare to others) ! But anyway I will order again !

OMG this food was nasty Sheesh kebab. Quarter pounder. Chips sheesh meat from a slimy jar and chips from a dirty bucket on wheels as for the salad it was gross 🤮 now Iv never thrown food away but I was to worried about getting diarrhoea and now Iv just spent another £25 at blighway kebab DONT waist your money go to Bligh way AND GET PROPER FOOD Message for management… please order some food from blighway and compare the food quality

Fish & chips were great! Sausage wasn’t nice and bread roll was stuck together as if it had been made a long time ago.

The chips with the kids burger was such a small amount, daughter counted them and there was only 15..... other chips was greasy...

Not withstanding the order was late, sadly, the food was really good and therefore back to its usual best.

It would nice to have the meat in a pitta 🥙 but it’s was very tasty great value

Found blue plastic in the donner kebab meat which is unpleasant and lucky I noticed it before eating it. I am not happy and it's had to go in the bin. I am being refused a refund too for my order! I won't be ordering again in the future from this place!

Lovely food, always delivered quickly, the only thing I'm not so keen on, (which is down to my personal taste & not a fault of the restaurant) is that the last couple of times I've ordered, the salad in the kebabs tasted too strongly of vinegar. I'd love a 'No dressing on salad' option. Still highly recommended though. Thank you.

Bought mixed meat and chips and the lamb donner was overcooked also got a chicken shish wrap which was lovely but they needed to wrap better as it all fell apart after the first bite

Placed order at 6:15, Was told via the app order was out for delivery, hadn’t been received 35 mins later, called and was told was out for delivery, called 10 mins later and was told driver had just left the restaurant, finally got my cold order at 7:50

Placed an order on delivery only to be called 20 mins later to cancel it myself as they don’t deliver over the Strood Bridge.
