Food was hot, tasty and enjoyable

This is the best fish & chips I’ve had in years! The batter was perfect, not too thick or greasy. Beautiful golden colour and crisp. Fish cooked to perfection! The chips were absolute heaven! The vegetable pancake roll brought well better one for many, many years! Curry sauce yum! Our usual fish & chip shop was closed tonight - glad it was, as the bee’s knees. You have a new customer - please don’t skimp on quality as you are the best!!!

Couldn’t tell the large cod from the large haddock, didn’t even put it in separate boxes so we knew which was which but they both tasted the same, won’t be in a rush to order again think I will try somewhere else first

Very nice They have a new menu we got the halloumi battered it was very nice and tasted amazing chips were a very big portion and nice fresh and crunchy. Would order again!! Much cheeper to go in and order than use just eat Or ring and order save some money. Fed 3 of us for £16 and we are not small eaters 🤣

Really disappointed this time around. We've ordered a fair few times and I don't often like to comment but this was the last straw this time. Wasn't aware the Chicken Donner was Tikka, paid for something I can't eat. We also ordered some French fries which are clearly not freshly cooked because they haven't retained their heat arriving cold and hard although delivered in good time! Going hungry tonight and out of pocket ☹️

The veggie kebab was good, but the chiken kebab had taste of curry and the chips was almost inedible salty. The portion is huge.

Quick delivery but very poor food. Ordered chicken doner meat and chips however it failed to state the meat was tikka flavoured which completely ruined the meal. It also made the chips soggy and I was unable to eat any of it and would not have ordered it if I had known. Local competitors offer better quality and also offer sauce with the meal so much better value.

Now our favourite kebab place in the area. Good food and delivery. The new naan kebabs are different and taste great - grilled peppers really add to these kebabs as well.

Ordered cod and chips. Was told to allow 40 minutes for delivery. Order came within half an hour. Food absolutely cooked to perfection. Piping hot, generous portion. Friendly driver . Will definitely order again

So this is an amended review, I’ve lived local to wells road fish bar for 5 years and it was always the best around, sadly no longer, been twice in the last couple of weeks and it’s gone downhill, portion sizes have reduced substantially, today was the final straw. The pic is meant to be a large rock!!! No way, two tiny pieces and one of them tasted horrid and was just not edable. I’ll go elsewhere from now on Please can we have a -star option, I’m Sure wells road fish bar would score well.

Some of the worst chips I’ve ever been given and the curry sauce wasn’t any better. The curry roll was dry and didn’t taste any curry. Will never order from here again.

I've ordered from here a few times now and everytime the food and delivery has been amazing! Food is always hot and full of flavour and delivery is always early or on time!

A little late but sent a text and the delivery driver apologised at the door. Food great and plenty of it. For a large order (Birthday celebration) it was all very good and overall very happy. Definitely recommend.

Food arrived 1hr 35mins after ordering. Meat was Greasy, chips were cold. The only place we have known that gives you chillies when you ask for salad. So chilly liquid contaminates all of the chicken. Worst kebab ever. Did get a refund for the chicken.
