My wife and I just ordered a meat an chips and I have never tasted such a bad kebab in all my days thought I was eating straw

Disgraceful service, I worked here for 4 years and we was good with customer service, knew what to say to customers when things were wrong and had respect. Not happy with the guy doing the kebabs, he was rude, got the order wrong, did not come round and have a conversation with my mum he stood round back and spoke about the issues. It was disgusting, didn’t even come round the front and have a conversation and got no apology for the wrong order. None of them have understanding or training in how to deal with the situation and this needs to be addressed. All are so rude apart from the young girls round the front who were so lovely and sweet and was not their fault. Really has gone down hill and I am very disappointed with the treatment me and my family have had. Will never return and really have let me down.

Deliver time kept changing. Only ordered two portions of fish and chips. Took over an hour

Food was cold by the time we got it because the driver was insistent we needed to give him a 4 digit delivery code and refused to leave! We have never had to give a code, hadn’t received a code, he then tried to do a live chat while standing on our doorstep refusing to allow us to shut the door. When we finally managed to get the food and close the door he stayed on the doorstep before re ringing the bell asking for my delivery mobile number. He then stayed on the doorstep even longer!

Too many chips. Asked for 2 small portions but received 2 large portions.

Nearly 2 hours after being told half an hour for delivery glad it was still hot

order was little early but that was fine food lovely and hot very good fish and sausage in bater driver very polite and nice

Really disappointed, food was just thrown away, soggy chips and over cooked fish. I won’t be using them again in a hurry.

all the food was disgusting chips were not cooked properly the dover meat was greasy and rubbery and the chicken tasted like a child made the batter just tasted like powder all went in the bin I will never order from them again waste of money

Website prices are way out of date a large cod is now £10 not £6 and other prices are all significantly higher. This is very misleading if you are on a budget. If they can’t keep the website upto date it should be taken down.

Ordered plaice so it was freshly cooked. Arrived overcooked, batter was so well done it shattered as i cut into it. Swimming in grease. Can't believe they actually sent it out looking like that.

Food was not as good as it usually is, it looks like it was from a different shop, everything was different with the meal

Please please don't use this place. Without doubt the wose fish and chip shop I have visited. Totally overpriced for rank and soggy chips. Can't even deep fry without buggering it up. Totally disinterested staff. Go somewhere else.

Missing items! When I called the restruant they were very unhelpful and didn't seem to care at all!

Staff are lovely foods good the only thing letting them down is the chips... Amazing potion size but the chips are mainly ends and rock hard bits.. Don't let this stop you tho! Remember cash only!

Please do not use. Ordered via just eat some time ago, had to return order due to finding a hair. No apologies offered. Neither just eat and shop would give me my money back. I’ve lived in the village for 16 years and always used before. Absolute thieves.

The quality of the food was poor,the meat was dry and hard around the edges and the chips were hard and dry. The only nice thing was the salad.

Food was hot and tasty, brilliant portion sizes for all the fish, chips and scampi!

The fish was burnt batter and hardly any fish inside. Very unusual as i alway order here as love your fish and chips. Most of the cod which was £10.99 was thrown in bin.

Worst chip shop about , chips are rank , can't order a small portion over priced , medium portion of chips and not a complete chip in the bag all crusty end bits , plave wants closing down.

Food was yummy & hot & plenty of chips! The cod was delicious and cooked to perfection and the delivery driver was very friendly. Excellent service so will be ordering again!

food was a tad disappointing this evening. soggy floppy batter hard chips and no idea what's going on with the taste of the saveloys, on time and hot food though so that's a positive.

Chips piping hot and tasted lovely. The kebab was not hot and the meat was disgusting was really rubbery. It’s a shame as never had bad food from here always been fantastic. Most bland rubbery kebab I’ve ever had

Average fish and chips after the longest wait….25 minutes?? Staff seem more interested in messing about and having a laugh behind the fryer rather than serve customers. Quite expensive as well

Delivery time changed twice. Chips inedible, the paper was also wet through they were just a mass of stuck together stodge. Pie definitely shouldn’t have been sent out, hard like a brick! Second time of late your food and service has been a disappointment and your prices can’t be justified on some items. We would rather travel a little further and use a new chippy!

The chips were clearly re-cooked some were actually almost black and rock hard,Half the portion was inedible, If I wasn't in a rush I would have wrapped it up and taken it back.....Never Again !

Last week too much batter on fish, this week the chicken was bad, off. I want a refund please. Salad and chips not a good dinner. Very disappointed.

I’ve ordered the same chicken Shish from here many times because it’s always so succulent and flavourful but this time the chicken was dry and had very little taste. In fact it tasted completely different, different seasonings perhaps? Not sure but nowhere near as good as usual. Quite disappointed to be honest. Hopefully it’s not the same next time!!!

Absolutely hands down my favourite chip shop in the Medway towns!! Great portions! Fresh fish and good value for money I visit once a week every week! The staff are polite and professional! Polite, well mannered and happy to help! I highly recommend!

Good experience and food was lovely. Staff helpful. It's always delayed though when arranging to collect. Told 15 mins and wasn't ready for a further 20 mins.

The cod was not cooked right all soggy

Fish was awful. Paid £10.50 for large cod, the batter was hard , the fish was chewy and was just disgusting.

Unfortunately not up to normal standard tonight, chicken nuggets, onion rings and the rock greasy and over cooked especially the rock which my husband couldn't eat the batter.

The food was absolutely disgusting worst meal me and mum have had never go back .

The time frame kept changing so technically it was delivered in the time frame but not the original time frame. It was delivered 40mins after the original time given

Top notch cod n chips as always

First visit and we liked that we had to wait for our fish to be cooked fresh. We ordered small cod and chips twice not realizing the chip portions are huge, we didn't ask so our mistake. But we were dissappointed that while the staff were chatting the fish was getting overcooked. Very dissappointing.

Not like it used to be. Overly greasy, and soggy food. Not golden batter, but dark and smelly. Fryers clearly need fresh oil.

All apart from the fish was good... one of the fish fillets was all batter and very little fish. Such a shame as we have never had any problems with previous orders.

The entire order was over cooked & dry. It did not taste fresh & was greasy. The batter was horrible, soggy in places & left an awful aftertaste. Sorry to say this is the worst fish & chips ever eaten. Both felt queasy afterwards.

Slow service...waited ages although wasn't busy!!! Plenty of staff stood around busy chatting. No sense of urgency or work ethics. Stood around while after long day spent ages waiting for simple fish n chips. Not impressed!!! Went home to find fish oily and no sauce on chips as requested! Won't be going there anytime soon.

The fish tasted burnt and was dry. Wasn’t burnt by appearance so maybe cooked in oil that other things have burnt in. Plenty of chips and arrived hot

Delivered pink doner meat on this occasion and was asked to replace it, which they did. The rest of the food was fine. Unlikely to order from here again.

One of the worst takeaways that I've ever had. The kebab meat was horrible and I had to throw most of the chips away as they were all black and brown in colour. The chicken kebab meat was very dry and parts were burnt. The salad tasted like its been sitting there for a week! I will never be ordering food from here again. Total let down and a waste of money.

Used to love this place, but the prices have gone through the roof and the portion sizes have gotten smaller

Food is all ways Great, its just the consistency on the size of the chip portions. 1 week a large feeds 4 people, the next week an XL Portion only feeds 3, just wish i would know when ordering if portion are big or small that day

Love this place !!!!!!! The donner kebab was especially crunchy ( yum yum) i take my business associates for brunch at this establishment. My only complaint was the soggy chips and fish. Clearly its been left out far far far far far far tooo long😔😠 however on of the employee who served me was a lovely person ( LOL) however the fish smelt like my dead sister in law ( very stinky) 🤪🤪🤪 this place has its ups and downs but dont we all. Your faithfully your local chippy diner x

This takeaway is a joke, half an hours wait for a medium piece of cod, by then the chips had become soggy where they had been wrapped and put into the keep warm compartment above the fryers I will not be going back here for any of their over priced food or their slow service, and the fact that they Pour dirty oil from the newspaper they lay the fish on in the warmer back into the fryer

Gravy was an absolute joke. Very, very thin and cannot fathom how restaurant think it's acceptable to charge £2.20 for 98% water. Chips ok and delivered early.
