Dried up over cooked fish, hardly any chips for the money. Took it back for my money back. No apology for the inconvenience they had caused me. Rubbish food to go with the rubbish customer service.

Avoid! This is the portions they gave us for regular chips! The boxes weren’t filled. It’s an extra £1.80 for cheese and that’s all you get, this is what it was like when I brought them home, a 5 minute drive away! They were cold and stale, the cheese didn’t melt whilst it was in the box. What a huge disappointment 🫠 In total it was £11.25 for 1 regular chips, 1 regular cheese & chips 2 buns and 1 curry sauce!!

If you are looking for a traditional British chippy then this is not the place to go. Undercooked frozen chips akin to supermarket chips. Poor menu choice and abysmal lack of any customer service… I suspect driven by their location

Food here usually excellent, & huge portions. But last week, the chips were limp & not crispy, and so greasy, the oil poured onto the plate when I dished them up, yuck.

Proper Chippy! Nice guys, good prices and proper old school fish and chips. No gimmicks just as expected and a good price too. 2 x kids sausage and chips, scallop, savaloy, pie and large chips for about £17! Would be close to £50 up the road at Simpson’s! Will be back.

No se ha podido realizar el pedido en línea desde que la nueva administración se hizo cargo, ya que están cambiando el menú. Fueron groseros e inútiles. Voy a encontrar en otro lugar a partir de ahora.

Great place for a wee lunch food is amazing, Service was excellent as Dan took very good care of family lunch. Will definitely be back.

Arrived at the shop and there were two children screaming and doing cartwheels, and nothing was said. I love being deafened and nearly kicked several times. The food is overpriced and there is a minimum spend on card, but there is no sign to tell you this. When I got home realised I was missing one of the 4 meals I ordered. When I called they said that it was behind the counter, we returned to collect it and the meal had pretty much been sat behind the counter, getting cold. So wasn’t great. But I warmed it up at home and you know what, the food isn’t awful. Just poor service.

Classic fish and chips, crispy batter, amazing chips, cooked whilst we waited so felt super fresh. The staff were also really smiley!

Myself and my partner visited for some late night food and had a great time! The service was quick and friendly, the gentleman behind the counter even gave us some free chips to snack on as we waited (and we only waited a short time). We ordered chips, battered sausage, mushy peas, chicken tikka starter, chicken madras, & pilau rice, & we loved every bit. Would definitely go here again, by far one of the best tasting and budget friendly takeaway options in the area! 🥰

Used to order from here all the time,but it was going downhill.thought I'd give it 1 last chance,but food was still awful doner meat was like cardboard,n very dry.chicken just had terrible taste not edible.and garlic mayo n chilli sauce went straight in bin.chilli was like water n garlic sauce had such a peculiar taste.everything basically ended up in the bin apart from the chips.waste of money

I’ve been having deliveries from here for years and previously been good. Last time I ordered pizza and I think the delivery guy had it on its side as it was squashed up on the side. Today I had a pizza delivery and it tastes really bad. Some of it isn’t cooked and the bottom of the base has green mold on it. So very disappointing

Ordered a parmo. Absolutely delicous also got chicken tikka wrap. The chicken was so nice and fresh and the chips are too die for. Best on the town. I’ve not been for months and it’s changed massively also with a new 5 star rating
