The best restaurants serving Pizza pasta food in South West

Terrible chicken full of fatty oil chips were dry no serivets give no salt nor vinegar on chips never even asked chicken burger was so bad not eaten in all meals were bad wouldn't give to my badgers

Ordered gluten free pizza last night 25th June 2024 picked it up very disappointing base was burnt not even cut into pieces couldn't eat it

You can't beat a deep fried doughnut the old fashioned way. This is how doughnuts are made at the big successful doughnut giant stores... Krispy Kreme & Dunkin' Donuts before they're smothered in icing etc. £4.80 for 5 x doughnuts? Yeah, great... at least let people know that they are miniature doughnuts... I'm all about supporting small businesses and having checked the reviews of Swanage and its various restaurants and outlets I found Dino's. A fried chicken/pizza shop with a little doughnut stand by the front door and as a doughnut fanatic I just had to head over for a visit. It is placed in a prime location just off the high street and simultaneously off the seafront. So why are there almost no reviews and some bad ones? Why was the place empty? The summer season has just been and gone too. The fish and chip shop opposite was busy even though a fairly large percentage of their reviews state that the large fish are tiny fish with huge amounts of batter over them. Firstly... it looks like a kebab shop from 1988. Ok, that doesn't really bother me either but it WILL turn off the wealthy mums in their 4X4 AMG's/Q7's so thats them gone. Secondly... food speaks for itself... I didn't try the fried chicken but I did see it sitting there behind the glass looking a little sorry for itself. Not something I'd bring home to the wife... if I had one. Thirdly... and this is by far the most important and obvious point... nowhere does it say 'MINI doughnuts' or 'LITTLE donuts'. See my photo. Now for some figures... the doughnuts were little dainty dwarf doughnuts and at 5 for £4.80 I felt utterly ripped off. The 5 x mini doughnuts wouldn't equate to 2 x standard supermarket sized doughnuts. 5 x full sized doughnuts at Sainsbury? £1.20. Granted... they're not freshly fried in front of your eyes but thats is still a 1/4 of the price for more than double of the same product. Nothing wrong with the taste but the machine they were cooked in didn't look particularly clean, who knows how long the oil had been in it and along with being sneakily ripped off, being served doughnuts that were clearly for elves, I also had a stomach ache later on in the evening for hours, with Dino's being the only culprit. I have the strongest digestive system in the Western hemisphere too, a normal person would have been internally broken which would have consequently damaged the smooth running of the local sewer system. Unbelievable how some people operate...

Service was horrible so I decided to do an online order and they sent me fries instead if wedges .. If I wanted fries I would’ve ordered fries atleast call me and maybe I would’ve got an alternative ( not fries )

Staff member , between 1640-1750 stated that the order was 'done' today when I called , and did not deliver or order. He stated he would contact back after contacting delivery driver nit simply , ignored my calls. Order unrecieved and not delivered. Untrustworthy, unreliable , poor communicators. Avoid like the plague !

This is my second time here. I swear I've never tasted food as delicious as this restaurant. It's broken records, broken the rules, and taken the lead. It's garnered all the stars without any fanfare or exaggeration. Congratulations to its honest owner and its hungry customers! I had chicken and lamb kebab served in an oval dish filled with rice flavored with butter. I also ordered eggplant stew with tandoor bread. It was a delight for the onlookers and a delight for the diners.

Absolutely stellar customer service at Domino’s Weymouth – if you enjoy feeling like an inconvenience. Popped in hoping to grab a vegan pizza without having to remortgage the house. Asked the staff member if there were any offers available (you know, like the kind Domino’s is famous for), and were met with a blank stare and a monotone “no” – like we’d just asked her to solve world hunger. She clearly had places she’d rather be – literally anywhere but helping customers, it seems. So, we left, feeling ever so slightly like we’d just asked for free pizza. Opened the app out of spite (and hunger), and surprise! – got the exact same pizza, plus another, for 50% off. Magical. Almost like offers do exist after all – just not if you dare to ask in person. Might I suggest retraining staff on customer service… or maybe just basic human interaction? In the meantime, I’ll stick to the app. At least that doesn’t roll its eyes at you.

Come here regularly after both the Newbury and Reading Branches closed permanently. Writing this review based on today’s experience (28/02/25), and had the server ‘Lorna’. She’s fast, efficient, and friendly. The food arrived fast and hot and was excellent quality. The kitchen can get backed up on takeaway orders when the restaurant is full, though, so there may sometimes be a short delay. The main downside being when the restaurant is full, there are a lot of kids present, which can either add to the atmosphere or be a nuisance. There may be a delay getting your bill, but overall, I do recommend this Pizza Hut location as long as you go on a weekend or Friday so there’s more staff present.

We ordered on the app and a mistake was made, called the shop they rectified the issue and the gentel man that gave our order gave us a bonus pizza which they didn't have to do, lady on the phone was lovely and polite. Pizza was fresh and taste amazing, thank you so much.

Rang at 4:30 to ask if they can do a collection for 5 and they said they could, popped in at 5 and they had it ready for me. Ordered the Camembert and it is amazing! Large quantities and it is so lush I love Camembert! Super hot! Good price! Wish I could have this all the time!
