They sent wrong item and cold food.

Dealt with a bad Uber eats driver but the guys at papa johns were very quick to make the problem right, major props, food is great as always!

Quick update We contacted customer service and unfortunately nothing has changed, we haven't received our refund and it doesn't look like we will. Terrible customer service, waiting 2 hours for delivery and nothing. We contacted directly the restaurant where we ordered the pizza and Mr. Peter said that he send the pizza and is not his problem that did not arrive, and we can only contacted customer service. The customer service lines were closed, we asked Peter (I doubt that's his real name) for a refund and he refused to refund me, thief. Stay away from this restaurant if you don't want to be robbed of your money, company policy, you have to pay for the food you order, no matter if their driver didn't deliver the food. Great pizza - pepperoni for moi - cooked quickly. Hot and tasty. Friendly and happy staff, it seems, and all the more surprising as they're open until 3am! Thanks guys and hope the night goes quickly for you.

The food is fine, but the delivery is atrocious. Waited over an hour for it to arrive and then had the delivery driver try to claim it was our fault for ‘changing the order’… which we didn’t do. Also delivered the wrong dips from those we ordered. If you need a late night pizza, it’s okay, but expect to wait over an hour and to have it delivered incorrectly. There are better options out there.

Don’t be a fool in ordering here. It’ll never arrive. They may even give you a free pizza to make up for it but it’s not valid when you try to use the code. Avoid at all cost.

Weren't happy, though have been in the past, but not this time. We were waiting for half an hour outside since they couldn't get through the security gates. They were fifteen minutes late with no updates to say they would be late. We called about five times with no answer as we were trying to find out if there had been an issue. When it finally arrived, the driver was rude and didn't explain the why he was twenty minutes late by this point. The food was cold, making the pizza slightly tough. The food itself wasn't great anyway, there wasn't much cheese on the pizza and the sides were ordered were kind of small (though that might be a general thing). The jalapeno bites also tasted just like the once at Iceland. Didn't feel worth almost £40. Hoping it's a one time thing.

Awful!! Please do not order from here. Placed order via just eat for 30 minute delivery. Had notification to say it would be 2 hours, contacted the store to say this wasn’t ideal as it was quite late but they waited to take our money before informing us there was a delay. Had an EXTREMELY rude person on the phone constantly repeating ‘ring just eat.. ring just eat’ then he rudely said ‘I can’t hear you’ and hung up. We then waited 2 hours. Had a notification on just eat to say it was on the way. Then 20 mins later had a notification to say it was delivered - it never was ??? Rang the store over 20 times on 3 different mobile numbers but received no answer. absolutely disgusting way to treat paying customers. Took £70 and didn’t even bother making the food on the first place!!!! I am so annoyed at your customer service. Vile vile vile. Don’t order from here!!!

Currently been waiting 2 hours for a single order. The delivery driver messed up (delivered our order to someone else) and then, an hour after this mistake was identified, they still haven't sent out the new order. We asked for a refund so we could order from elsewhere - but nope, can't do that either! They have refused to pick up their phone ever since. I've never received such appalling customer service in my life (and as someone who has worked in the service industry, I wouldn't do this to anyone either!) Go to Pizza Hut, go to Domino's - anywhere is better than Papa Johns Bath.

Just arrived in Bath, wanted to eat an affordable meal near Holiday Inn Hotel. So find this shop just near. Whereas I didn't heared Papa John's pizza before, I would recommend this one: good pasta pizza, good taste and large size sufficiznt for 2. The greek has really a good taste, bbq children has to much bbq sauce for us, but kids enjoyed. 😋

So we order pizza and sides. When delivered, the pizza was disappointing because eating from papa johns at different city was excellent. The ingredients on pizza in some slices was thrown on and other slices not even if any ingredients on and all u could see was sauce and sprinkle of cheese! Avoid! dont waste your money

Not great. Ordered food waited well over an hour. Rang them and was told waiting for notification from the courier. Waited an extra half hour to be told the same. Cancelled order and still awaiting my refund. Best you go collect and they should remove the delivery option as it simply isn't working

As other reviewers have said - spent ages waiting with no updates so to call the store. The lad could not really help just said did not have the drivers, if you don't have the drivers then slow down on taking orders! Thought I'd give Papa John another try after having the same experience a couple of years ago at a with the same branch seems they have not got any better! - I won't be ordering again.

Another greasy and fatty American version of a pizza. I asked thin and crispy, what I got was soggy mush.

As other reviewers have said - spent an hour waiting with no updates so tried to call the store. Called for over half an hour solid to get an update and had no answer/reply. Thought I'd give Ol' Papa John another try after having the same experience a couple of years ago at a different branch - I won't be ordering again.

Ordered pizza at 7:20PM, waited until 9PM, no signs of pizza, nor the driver. Called the restaurant about 8 million times and no one answers the phone.

2 hour wait for cold food! This place used to be great but seems like it's gone down hill. Driver did give an uninterested apology.

If I could give 0 I would. VERY disappointed. Ordered a pizza, sides and ice cream at 9.20pm which arrived at 10.10pm barely warm. Delivery driver forgot our ice cream (something they often do, especially with drinks) and said he would be back in 10 minutes. He never returned, and after waiting about half an hour we tried calling the shop with no way of getting through as it seems like they disengage the line half an hour before closing time. If you want a warm, well cooked pizza and get everything you pay for, choose one of Bath's other local pizza restaurants - we will NOT be ordering again. EDIT: Driver did end up delivering ice cream just after closing time. He came across fed up and rude. Still wouldn't order again.

order 3 large pizzas for £32 3 boxes of grease got delivered late! each box soaked through so binned the lot tried calling to arrange a replacement or a refund and the phones been offline all night - terrible service first and last time I will order from papa johns… I will be getting a refund

Tried Papa John's for the first time recently. Was very impressed with the wide variety of toppings. While the normal prices are rather high, the deals and student discounts make it a lot more value for money. Feeling adventurous, I decided to try the jackfruit pepperoni. It didn't disappoint, with plentiful flavour and the right texture! The pizza itself was delicious, well cooked, with generous toppings and an excellent garlic dip. Ordering was a breeze and delivery was on time, courteous and contact free. Domino's used to be my go-to but now this is a serious contender for pizza night. I'll definitely be ordering again soon.

Waste of time. Ordered a pizza online at 5 then got an email 20 minutes later saying it hasn't been accepted, yet they still took the money and then got a message back saying that I will get my refund within 5-7 days. Didn't have any more money in my account to make another order. So had to go without pizza.

Everyone loves pizza but after reading so much about this place I thought I have to try it! Totally blown away the pizza was the best I have ever eaten the dough is the show stopper no horrible bloated feeling after eating too much and here it's easy to eat way too much the Pizzas are that good! If you are going out for pizza go here!

Disgusting- we ordered cookies and they came raw soaked in grease, called the manager and he couldn't care less blaming it on uber eats?!

Lovely staff, went into the shop and they quickly cooked a tasty pizza.

Ordered online, immediately called to cancel and reordered with a better discount and the pizza was outside in literally 10 minutes. Really great staff. Also the vegan cheese is amazing here. Try not to get too addicted.

Went to collect this time. Helpful woman answered the phone and applied significant discounts to our order for us. Met the same server on pick up who was very nice to my young daughter, who was super interested in the pizza making process. Pizza was as ordered, but a bit cold by the time I got it home, 4 mins away - perhaps it wasn't kept under heat lamps? Otherwise no complaints 😊

The cheese is quite disappointing, overall far too much grease for my liking, price is pretty reasonable. If you're fine with grease this place is great.

Dear Papa, After an average (but not unusual) night out in Bath which included a few pints of Guinness, I was a peckish at 1am when I got home. As I erected my deliveroo app, I was met with the Papa John page that mislead me to believe that I could order a delivery. After several attempts at placing the order, I passed out. Fast forward 10 hours, whilst having my hangover poo, I received a ping. It was from you, well, Deliveroo, notifying me that my pizza was on route. At 11.30am. And to make matters worse, not one pizza but 3 were on route. As you can imagine this was horrifying. After several failed attempts at salvaging the predicament, I was greeting my deliveroo rider(s) in my dressing gown and slippers. The pizzas were extremely expensive and really, really small. In heinsight it’s a good job I accidentally ordered 3. Your lack of sympathy for my position has lead me to give you 1 star and I will not be returning. Too small. Too overpriced. And 10 hours too late.

He ordenado pizza para llevar a papa johns cuatro veces y ha sido una bolsa muy variada.La primera vez disfrutamos de una deliciosa y cálida pizza que llegó rápidamente.La segunda vez, tuvimos que llamar dos veces y esperar más de una hora y media antes de que nuestra comida llegara completamente fría y ya habíamos comido mucho mientras esperábamos que en realidad no la queríamos de todos modos.La tercera vez pedí una fiesta de 12 personas y llegó razonablemente rápido y no tuvimos quejas serias, así que pensamos que era impresionante.Anoche, pedí una pizza que originalmente debía ser de 30 minutos. Llamé solo comer y luego dijeron que tenían que llamar al restaurante para confirmar la cancelación. Simplemente comí y luego me devolvió la llamada para confirmar la cancelación y me aconsejó que se reembolsara el dinero. Además del hecho de que dos horas después tuve que darme por vencida sin comer, estaba tan irritado que no recibí una disculpa de ninguna de las partes después de esperar dos horas.

Ordered through Just Eat for 12.30pm delivery. Arrived at 12.00 noon, luke warm. Food had to be reheated before it could be eaten. Hadn't ordered from Papa John's for a while and don't remember being disappointed in the past, but very unimpressed today.

normally id say papa johns makes better pizza than competitors such as dominos. but this is the first time I order from this particular branch, honestly, it's the worst one I've had, did not taste good at all. Pizza was a disaster and chicken BBQ wings was not as bad but just meh. Maybe it's just one unlucky time but I'm afraid will have leave a one star.

Hoy esperamos pizza y pedimos para una hora pero no entrega llegamos. Cuando me registré en su sitio web mi pedido había desaparecido a pesar de que el proceso de pago correctamente. Cuando me registré mi cuenta bancaria el 22 libras. 49 habían salido de mi cuenta, pero la tienda no tenía constancia de mi pedido cuando me llamaba. Entonces dije que la oficina debería anillo y podía encontrar el número en su página web, pero esto no es cierto. No hay número de anillo y en su lugar sólo puede correo electrónico a través de una queja. Hablé a la tienda varias veces por teléfono, pero no era muy servicial en todo y me dejaron esencialmente a solucionar escribiendo la oficina de quejas que dice podría tomar hasta 5 días para una respuesta. Del bolsillo ahora, sin comida, y obligado a esperar a que responder. No he pedido de nuevo de Papa Johns.

Pedimos una entrega. El asistente le preguntó al cliente repetidamente lo que mi dirección era. Le dije tres veces.Tenía una llamada 40 minutos después diciendo que estaba fuera que él no era. Él entonces dijo: Me he equivocado de él, el g que no dirección.Cuando finalmente llegamos me dijo que había dado la dirección equivocada y era bastante desagradable. Le dije que me había dado la dirección correcta al principio.La pizza era insípida.Nunca se pide de este restaurante de nuevo.

Pedimos dos los martes en ocasiones. He pedido y pagar a través de la app, pizza siempre llega rápidamente y caliente! El chapuzón de ajo es adictiva! No puedo conseguir en con otros para llevar pizza pero estas pizzas son realmente sabrosa y genial para el almuerzo del día siguiente si no se consigue todo en una sentada!

Doesn't matter how many times I order from these incompetent buffoons they fail to find my address. I don't live on a different planet but the skill levels of the staff here would make you think otherwise. I'm just amazed at the amount of time I have to spend holding their hands through how to deliver a pizza. What they should do is invest in a mobile telecommunication device that has Google maps on it... that would solve their problems but trusting these apes with electricity is definitely a mistake. Don't burden yourself with an order from here...

Reasonable price and speed. It was still pretty hot when we got back to the hotel.

Hizo un gran orden en la mañana para una entrega de 5:00 pm. Todos confirmaron, pero no pizzas hasta casi las 6:30 pm. No contento, ni disculpa, no hay reembolso, sin recomendaciones, sin interés, no hay servicio al cliente.

Food took ages to arrive, meaning it was cold on arrival. Ordered a hawaiian and got about 2 musgrooms and a few scraps of ham on an xxl pizza.The manager phoned me to tell me it would be late due to bad traffic. 1hr 10 mins after the call the driver showed up. If you drive for a living in Bath you should know the fast ways around. Maybe he was new but that and the quality of the food was a really bad first impression.

After ordering on Just Eat we paid for a pizza and garlic bread. It took TWO AND A HALF HOURS to arrive. On calling them directly a man answered who apologised and said that because of the wait we could have a free pizza. Great. Next day, phone call from them - dont check ANY personal details but accuse me of not paying!!! Considering the delivery man rang the shop the night before and said that was right and I paid by card, passed from rude Lady to the manager who wouldn't let me finish speaking, then said it was my fault for not getting a name so we couldn't have the free pizza and I owed them money from the night before? I had evidence of it coming out of my bank account and a transaction ID he still continued to speak over me. Finally after 5 times telling him that we ordered online via Just Eat he then suddenly changed his tune and started apologising. As a customer service manager I have never experienced such rudeness before over a pizza!! The manager and staff of this branch are extremely rude and accuse you of leaving "their tills down" but don't check who I am?!? Still waiting for that pizza....

Had a take away Sunday night. I ordered chicken club pizza and cheese and garlic sticks. Rang up to place order, not a very good welcome on phone, girl sounded like she could not be bothered, no friendly tone to her voice at all. Quick delivery though so that's a plus. But when opened pizza box hardly any chicken on pizza at all, all I could taste was the pizza sauce and cheese, few bits on chicken sprinkled on top. The garlic and cheese sticks not very garlicky either more just cheese. Not very good value. Papa john you have let me down. Not as it says on website

Absolutely awful, waited an age for cold soggy pizza to arrive. Topping were mostly mush, it had the air of something that had already been reheated. A trip through the oven at home crisped things up again but what am I paying for. Thoroughly disappointing, even Pizza Hut are better than this.

We are using Papa John's for office lunch occasionally and we're really satisfied by the whole service. Often there are promotions and you're taking a large pizza for less than £10. The delivery is really fast... we are receiving them for 45 minutes. And the pizzas are so tasty!

My first ever Papa Johns experience, and it wasn't good. Trying to get the staff to understand what I was attempting to order was an experience in itself. Then over an hour wait for the food to arrive, safe to say I will never bother again...

A friend recommended Papa Johns to me from London, so when I had another friend over from India for a night in we were psyched for their pizza. We ordered online.. simple and efficient. When the delivery came we queried whether this was the half and half we'd ordered. the driver quickly said YES, persisted to get the cash and did one quickly. We rang the store and stated this was not the order we had made and their response was you paid for it (online, prior to delivery i might add), there may be something wrong with our system but there is very little we can do. REALLY?! How about make me another damn PIZZA! We ate the pizza anyway and it was acceptable, even though it was not what we'd asked for.

We have just visited this store after being so impressed last time. When I got home after a 20 minute drive we realised one pizza was burnt on the top and bottom and the other was burnt on the bottom.I rang the store and was told that under no uncertain terms would they do anything about it because I had left the store. I thought this was ridiculous, she said that I couldn't even bring it back to the store!! I wonder what trading standards will think when I contact them...

I had always rated Papa Johns,but recently the pizza has been of a very poor quality,I always have the two for Tuesday deal,and have it delivered,what we have received is greasy pizza,with pepperoni that looked and tasted uncooked,maybe they have started to use cheaper ingredients for there 2 for Tuesday deals,will be using Dominos from now on.

As a pizza lover I thought I would try out the new Papa Johns instead of my usual pizza haunt as I had heard good reviews about over stores and well I had some discount vouchers. Ok so going against my usual rule of having a margherita at a new place, I had the BBQ chicken as it sounded delightful. It was chicken with green peppers and BBQ sauce drizzle, well I opened the box and my first thought was that the toppings was quite minimal, the chicken being in very small pieces and same with the peppers. Any way I thought its all in the taste anyway, first bite, totally disgusting. Let me try to put how bad this was, imagine a lovely tomato puree on another pizza you like and are familiar with, now imagine the taste of that puree with a spoonful of sugar, then add more sugar and that's what the tomato sauce on the pizza tastes like, the same with the BBQ sauce, it was like they took a average BBQ sauce and ruined it by chucking a bag of sugar in it. It is rare for me to leave pizza, but this was so bad I only ate half of it and that was because I was starving.

Papa John's do the best pizza in these type of outlets. Always a good price if you collect and phone not use internet prices.

There are so many better pizza places in Bath, be it for take out or eat in pizza. Don't waste your time or money with what can only be described as a very disappointing pizza.
