Pizza Hut in Torbay

I want to express my sincerest gratitude to Charlie for his exceptional service. From the moment I walked into Pizza Hut , he was welcoming and attentive to my needs. He took the time to find out exactly what I wanted on my pizza and made sure that my order was prepared to perfection. Not only that, but my pizza was delivered in a timely manner and it tasted absolutely amazing. Charlie's dedication and attention to detail truly made my ordering pizza over the counter a great experience. Thank you so much, Charlie!

I Made a mistake on the order by not selecting vegan cheese, staff were very friendly and made me a new one free of charge. Thank you!

7 minutes before being acknowledged at the counter to arrange collection of 1 x pizza that was waiting that whole time. 7 members of staff behind the counter including the manager who made direct eye contact during that 7 minutes. This store personifies why Pizza Hut is dying out. I had time to read the sign in the shop about two brothers borrowing $600 from their mum to open the first store and aimed for greatness. If they succeeded, this store under current management has not.

Only ever collected as I'm out of the delivery area. You can park outside but it's usually busy so it can be hard to get a space. Other than that the staff have always been friendly. The food is usually good. Garlic bread is a bit hit and miss at times in terms of freshness and the Deep Pan pizzas are very oily but I guess that comes down to personal preference - that's just my opinion. I'd still get pizza from here :)

The pizza was really greacy, barely any cheese and no base sauce, NOT worth the money, chicken side was pink

Decent pizza for price. Wish they used a bit more pizza sauce on their pies. Not sure why they don't have olives as a topping. Might be a UK thing...

Spoke to someone on the phone in regards to an order and they spoke very abrupt and rude! What happened was a mistake originally in regards to an order.

Really lovely staff serving and pizzas were ready in no time. Haven't had a Hut pizza for years - it was well worth the wait!

As you can see the manager was not happy when we asked if our food had been freshly cooked so when we asked and left she stuck her finger up to tell us how she felt after a bitter few hours trying to call her about our order and then it was still wrong after calling again to say it was wrong she hung the phone up

Had a pizza delivered this evening and it looked as though it had been just thrown in the box. Cheese and grease everywhere. Could hardly separate the slices to eat it.

Ordered paid but did not turn up , tried to call phone line said call failed, request call back , nothing .

Food got here fine other than 2 items being missing. I informed the driver who said he would bring them around but sadly never did so I rang the place 11 times which I only got 1 response but hung up before I could get a word out.

Walked in..phone ringing constantly. Member of staff trying to sort out customer complaint while another customer comes in saying order was wrong. Waited without being acknowledged for over 8 mins. Ordered food and received it within 10 mins. Food ok for price ( £5 deal)

On holiday in Babbacombe, used the delivery service twice. Both times piping hot pizza delivered 10 mins ahead of time, exactly to order and delicious. Well done!

We ordered two large pizzas and a side online, the pizzas were delivered warm and on time, and they were nice, just a few things that could have been better, the slices could have been cut more equal in size, some were huge and others were tiny, and everything wasn't as hot as we'd have liked, and of course we would have liked more generous toppings, we consider the meal to be a treat as it is expensive, thank you and well done to the staff who made and delivered a nice meal, we enjoyed it, many thanks

Ordered online and it said it had been delivered when it hadn’t, called up to ask why and dealt with a woman who was rude, hostile and just wanted a shouting match. When the food eventually arrived it was luke warm and lacked most of the toppings. I’ve read similar reviews about the customer service and will happily take my money elsewhere since it seems this kinda thing is common there :)

I paid extra for additional toppings, which I did not receive. I didn't get any sauces either with the pizzas, wedges or garlic bread. I called the store, the lady spoke to me in a snotty tone whilst explaining to me that she couldn't help, that I would have to speak to HQ customer services. All I wanted was the refund for the extra toppings, even though that whole order was bland. One pizza was completely tasteless. It's so expensive too, I could get better quality from a £1 supermarket pizza. A Christmas treat turned into a huge disappointment. We will not be returning.

Pizza hut used to make really nice pizzas, unfortunately ours were bland and not very nice. I doubt we will go back, really disappointing.

Totally rubbish bad customer service, bad attitude from the girl manager she was not helpful at all on a order she just couldn’t be bothered to help and this is from a manager I phoned up twice and when I explained about my order she hung up twice she just didn’t want to listen staff training is certainly needed for this manager or be fired at the branch at Torquay! Sunday 5th September 2021 order time was 17-25.

Ordered pizzas for all the family while on holiday. They arrived in good time but one of the pizzas was not what I ordered - instead of a medium classic pizza it was a small, square, gluten-free one! I assumed I'd made a mistake with the ordering but only afterwards realised I hadn't. On top of that, the pizza in question was far from fresh: it seemed like it had been taken out of the oven some while before being delivered. Maybe we got someone else's? My local Pizza Hut in Bristol does a brilliant job and I have never had a problem with them - but the Torquay one is terrible.

I placed an order online and forgot a couple items so called up immediately to add them on. Which they told me I couldn’t because it was ordered online. I was not also allowed to order direct separately and add to it. I don’t understand the reason for this! So now someone is going without a meal. There’s no where for me to cancel either!

Just amazing food! Ordered last night and the food was outstanding. So fresh and tasty. Best pizza we have had in a very long time. Delivered early too!!! Will be using as our regular pizza place from now on. Well done everyone there *****

Very poor! Being on holiday with the family and with not knowing the area we thought you can’t go wrong with Pizza Hut ! Well don’t waste your money here! The farm house pizza had no mushrooms on at all, the cheese was all gritty, and the garlic share bread was burnt, so dare I go on! My husband’s pizza was all dry ! The other sides we picked were passable, but it was a very expensive meal for a couple of sides! Extremely disappointed and didn’t represent a Pizza Hut at all !!

Poor quality, food presentation was awful, chicken strips no flavour, pizza no flavour and the nachos was appalling. Cookie was awful and ice cream very cheap stuff. Charge ritz prices and deliver poundland quality.

Went in with an order, the server found me a better deal, and was excellent on her manner. Absolutely fantastic.

Ordered a takeaway and we was missing some sides to our order, I rang the driver and told him we was missing some food and he apologised and would drop it over ASAP. We had finished our food and didn’t want the missing sides anymore so I rang up and asked if we could get a refund for the missing food. I spoke to a lady on the phone and explained what had happened and that we was disappointed our food was cold aswell. She explained that the store couldn’t refund the food but if I spoke to customer service they could refund me the £5 for the food I never recieved or she could offer me £15 off my next order, which I was happy with. I understand these things happen and it’s an easy mistake to make, so was more than happy with having money off my next order. I got another call shortly after to explain my sides are on their way and I’ll get a credit note on my next order which meant I get £26 to spend on my next order I shop with them and they apologised again. I’m really happy and left feeling satisfied with how Pizza Hut dealt with the situation. It was dealt with in a very professional manner and they were very apologetic and understanding. I will be coming back to order again, thank you Charlie!

Decent pizza but must have someone blind cutting them

Wasn't even able to order! The woman who answered the phone hung up on me half way through me ordering. Rang back straight after (giving them the benefit of the doubt that it may have been an accident), to then have them pick up for a second and hang up on me again. very rude!

Pizza always hot, delicious and on time and friendly professional response on the phone.

They did not even bother to deliver my £26 worth of pizzas that i had ordered an hour before they shut. Didnt even phone me. The worst service of a pizza delivery that i have ever experienced.

Mi trovavo in Inghilterra e avevo voglia di mangiare una pizza sentendo la mancanza di casa.. Ho deciso così di chiamare Pizza Hut perché la pizza non è il massimo ma era l'unica pizzeria che avevo provato in diversi paesi per cui chiamo e ordino una pizza con le patate. Riattacco e attendo la consegna. Dopo 2 ore e mezza non era ancora arrivata perciò richiamo e mi dicono che non riuscivano a trovare la casa.. Cosa??? Assurdo! Fatto sta che dopo aver aspettato per 3 ore chiamo un'altra pizzeria che in 20 minuti mi porta la pizza a casa. La pizza di Pizza Hut non è mai arrivata. Orribile. Lo sconsiglio a tutti almeno il servizio take away.

Never ever get my order right the manager is rude and abrupt!

Manger doesn't listen when ordering food in store had to tell him 4 times what we wanted and he still got it wrong.

Customer service is shocking on the phone, the female who answered sounded about 12 and was very rude. Also, I ordered a BBQ chicken and got a meat feast. Shocking.

Its good food but getting a bit too expensive these days when you consider the equivalent pizza in the USA costs around £5.

I hadn't had a Pizza hut for many years so decided to give it a bash. I was disappointed, the pizza was soggy on the base a literally dripping with grease I presume. The tiny portion of potato chips was ok. Not impressed.

So we just ordered dessert and some nachos ( two cookie dough x nachos ) just to fill a hole . Waiting on delivery we get a call saying they do not have cookie dough so we decided to cancel the order as that’s all we really wanted but was being greedy . So they could not refund on the spot just had to do a 25 minute call which went around in circles and now have to wait 15 days for a refund . Basically had to work half an hour to get my own money back for a mistake that is nothing to do with me ! So thought I would let you all know .

We recently went over to the Pizza Hut in Torquay to pick up a large stuffed crust pizza. The staff were pleasant but when we got our pizza out to eat it, it was really badly cooked. The stuffed crust was basically half of the pizza, and not just the crust so there was hardly toppings on it and what had been put on was pushed together in the middle. The tomato sauce tasted funny too. Overall a bad experience.

Nice team but got order wrong so took it back at own expense, reorder was wrong so had to wait another 15 mins for correct order to be cooked again. Over an hour after ordering before correctly fulfilled

Best Pizza around... I have to drive to collect... but always worth it. Other pizza outlets just don't tick the boxes.

Ordered a meal deal 24.99 it arrived we had 1 pizza which was half and half,but bits of 1 of the halfs was scattered on other half.we ordered half and half as we dont all like same topping and it was cold.did phone up to say but they said someone would phone back but still waiting.my son has taken 1 slice of it before i had cgance to take photo.

Avoid, to start with the site is confusing how can you be sure what you ordered. Then some of the food you ordered arrives. Chicken wings seem to have stayed in a plastic container for weeks. Soggy and skin rubbery. Chicken stripes are the worst ever. Thanks for spoiling the evening meal pizza hut... never again.

Shocking service from this store they really couldn't care less

2 medium pizzas ordered. Both large with wrong base. Undercooked dough. Plain pepperoni but tasted like peppers. Box was dripping with grease and so was the pizza. It was disgusting. Would never return

Visited their website where they garantueed 30 minutes delivery.. At 830 pm Saturday 22th September I called them on phone they answered saying sorry can't take any orders for at least 20 minutes!!

Ordered online was stated delivery in 15 -20 mins after an hour rang was told only one delivery driver pizza is ready and should be arriving soon, rang again was told now out for delivery I said I don't even feel like now want to go to bed it was 1.05am he said it will still be fresh how come considering I was told it was ready over half an hour ago.It arrived inedible overdone and cold including chicken wings and cheesy triangles all went in the bin.Contacted customer services was offered a £10 gift voucher to use in the shop declined that stating I wanted a full refund I should have been offered both considering the inconvenience . Refund was authorised but still waiting for it to credit my account now 5 weeks ago a joke.

I am here in England but I am from Italy I called at night because I was hungry and after 2 hours waiting for the pizza delivery man I called again and they told me that they couldn't find the house.. I am used to ordering pizza at Pizza Hut around Europe and it has never happened to me before.. Then I called again just to give them another chance and I said to myself that the pizza is not so bad being Italian at least you can eat it when you are starving.. so I called and since I am Italian not English I asked the man who was speaking on the phone to repeat something slowly and he didn't so it is really rude I think and you have to treat clients well and help them understand you. He was really rude and l didn't order the pizza anymore luckily I could get a pizza in Avanti that is a real Italian Pizzeria and it was so tasty that I really recommend you all when you feel like eating pizza!!!

"There's a Dominoes across the road, read my review and try that one first! If anything goes wrong with your order - don't expect this branch to give much of a damn!" Just took a delivery or pizzas from this branch. They got the order wrong All 3 pizzas we ordered had meat on them, which meant our vegetarian was not a happy bunny! They offered to send out a replacement pizza which took an age. But they did. So, they get ONE star for at least doing that. What shocked me was that they insisted they wanted the incorrect pizza back and offered zero goodwill compensation. Perhaps a bottle of soda pop or a portion of potato skins - by way of apology for a genuine mistake, which was nevertheless, inconvenient to us too, would have been nice. But no. NOTHING. AND they wanted the 'wrong' pizza back, which their driver admitted was going straight in the dustbin when it got back to the store!!! Our meat eaters would have happily eaten it cold. So to be told it was being taken back (presumably to make some kind of point?) was fine from a legal stand point and total crappola from the point of view of goodwill and good customer service. There's a Dominoes across the road! Think we'll go there next time. The owners of this Pizza Hut branch clearly know NOTHING about good customer service and keeping your customers happy! Disappointing!!!

Just a note about the previous review, This Pizza Hut is still here and open and the reviewer has highlighted that the Pizza Hut in Fleet walk Torquay is no longer open. We have not had a pizza hit take out for a while and found that the pizza was really nice and hot and excellent value as if you collected it was £5 for a medium pizza which is great value Please note this is not a restaurant but purely a takeaway establishment

Firstly store ran out of pizza bases! Then somehow pizza nearly got delivered to wrong address. Now over a month since order was cancelled still waiting for refund that should only take up to 15 days!

Picked up a couple of pizza's from here the other day... Want that nice to be fair.. No where near as good as they used to be.. You would think with domino's being just across the road And papa Johns now open round the corner.. They would give that extra effort to still contend with them.. Obviously not.. Won't be returning...

Last night we ordered 2x pizzas which arrived within 30 minutes. When we opened the boxes the pizzas were literally dough with toppings they must have been in the oven for 2 minutes. I attempted to telephone the establishment but there was no answer. I put the pizzas in our oven eventually but it didn't taste the same. Waste of money, will not be ordering from there again!!

No wonder Pizza Hut is dropping down the table they have stopped giving tomato ketchup now with orders, Pizza Hut once huge business now no where as good as it was years ago time to shop around now !!

Ordered our usual favourite Pizza. Shop was busy and the girl was on her own so service was slow, but that was fine as the Pizzas are the best and we picked it up and drove to the sea front to eat it. Juts perfect.

We had two pizza nights on our holiday in Torquay from Pizza Hut, and both were excellent; with fresh, delicious pizza and delivered on time. There are great offers on there website, making it a cost effective option. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff, Pizza delivered quickly

Ordered a pizza, side dish and bottle of Pepsi online at 8pm. 1 hour later no drink delivered. The driver said he'd be back shortly. 8.30 still no drink so I told the store to cancel it. They then told me to call customer services for a refund as I'd ordered online. 10 minutes later (!) after jumping through hoops I was advised that the refund of £2.29 would take 16 days! Poor service from both the store AND their customer service department. Won't be going back, never get this from Dominos or any other local Takeaway...

Ordered a deal which involved a bottle of Pepsi didn't get it. Ordered Hagen daz didn't get that either, rang to say I hadn't got it. Got. Told them would send it out, still haven't got t. Avoid like the plague.

Had to be one of the best pizza's I have had regards to the pizza maker (sam) light on sauce asked for and given. Always busy so order ahead.

Not been to our local PH for probably a year, last time put us off enough to stay away this long, sadly after tonight's poor experience we will never go back. For glorified cheese on toast it has never been good value for money (unless proper Italian, even zizzys is really tasty good quality but over priced) but at least with their old offer collect any size for £6.99, gave enough food for my wife daughter and myself...enough to fill not over fill... But last year it went up a pound, didn't seem to taste as good hence why we stayed away...but tonight ordered same as we always have, it appears to have shrunk!! It looks like the size of the old medium and has a crust on it almost 3 inches wide (total width of crust (not stuffed) over 5 inches) making the size of the pizza which had topping about 8 inches in diameter....bloody ridiculous... I don't expect much for £8 but thus is supposed to be the same pizza that is over £16 the rest of the week!!? So either that's a serious rip off most of the week OR they role out a different pizza for the special offers which I can't see ...but either way not going back.... Hope your experience is different 😁

No hay mucho que decir, que es un promedio que en realidad nos dieron pizza a la derecha. No te molestes en sonar para consultar los tiempos de cocción. Sólo apareció como cocinaban allí en contraposición a los 40 minutos cuando u anillo.
