Great food from amazing staff .. I had a mixed kebab was amazing👏

Disgusting kebab looks like been dropped kicked around thrown in box. And smelled and tasted disgusting . Took it back round with young one finding it funny . And do I want another I wouldn't give there food to my dog let have another stay clear !

Pizza so tasteless, even had spicy beef on and couldn’t taste anything. Also not made with fresh pizza dough, more like a ready made base from a supermarket. Overall really poor, threw it away.

The last few orders have not been good the chicken used to be really good not now the chips were so small and tasteless.

Had a take away, delivered, absolutely crap, kebab cold, wasn't proper kebab bread but some soggy excuse, onion rings not cook same as mushrooms, so bad went straight in the bin

well I hate to slate takeaways especially ones I've been using for a long time, fries are american I live in the uk so when I order chips I expect chips not fries, when I make notes and references to my order which I paid for are not followed I.e put the salad in seperate from the chips (fries) and meat it's a reasonable request and very very very simple is not adhered to due to the salad getting soggy.i won't be using you again it's changed hands, I dislike the arrogance

Having used chicoland for over 10 years I have to say when I got a chicken n bacon pizza 2 days ago it was horrid. Tasteless and not deep pan. Such a shame as I like there food. Will stick to burger n chips in future and stay away from pizzas.

normally Great food but not tonight, pizza greasy and tastes like cheese is different ,chicken coating different all fell off, been using chicoland for years but think it's time to go back to winner Street

My food NEVER arrived and I was told that it was given to me. They kept accusing me of already having my meal and would not refund my £40!

Great pizza! Portions of chips are good as well. Unfortunately they told us to come a very short amount after ordering and then weren't ready, so we waited inside for about 15 minutes...

Less meat on a medium kebab and it was very cold even the salad was warmer than the meat. Had to give 3 medium kebabs to the dog and cat has it was vile.

Ordered food, they put cheese on the chicken meat and chips when the person eating it doesn't like cheese and no one selected cheese! Also put tomato base on the pizza when we 100% selected bbq base, basically told us we were liars when I phoned to complain the man on the phone was extremely rude and hung up on me!! Refused to solve the issues from there screw up!!

Highly recommend eating from here. Staff always friendly and happy to help. Food is always fresh and presented well. Delivery service available aswell and price is just right. Portions are very generous too. Fab place yo get food.

Had kebab meat burnt and dry chilli sauce taste more like Jared tomato sauce and salad in separate box. Was ill for 2days after. Very expensive as well compared to others in the area. Avoid

The Only place in Paignton that does a proper chicken tikka kebab, none of the quick dipped chicken pieces, properly marinated and fully of flavour. Perfect in a pitta or wrap. Think we have tried most the menu over the years and can honestly say never had a bad meal.

I don’t understand all the bad reviews . We order from here on a regular basis , and it’s always very quick delivery , and they don’t hold back on the portion sizes . They are huge . Personally I think it’s very good food and a reasonable price . Only once have they messed up an order & was rectified with no hassle . Give these guys a go . There is a lot worse around.

I ordered 3pic chicken and a chicken rap i had eten two pics of chicken and realised it was tasting funny and i fell ill about an hour afterwards i fell sick. All night i had stomach pains and vomiting from every hole🤮 i also thought the place was unsuitable to keep on makeing people ill 🤒 im not happy and want something done about it. I spent the last of cash on my food to not be able to eat it. Shocking how takeaways get away with cooking bad food. All staff should have been trained in food safety and know if the foods not right thay should know before thay cook it there's something not right. Labeling be a good start.... Not happy and i will go to public health about this matter.

Can't fault a bit of Chicoland lamb and chicken in kebabs always tender, great chips and pizza. Chicken usually fresh and hot. I'd avoid scampi it's not a chip shop so is not great.

After reading the reviews I wasn’t expecting the food to be great but as we were hungry at 11pm & couldn’t find anywhere else open we were pleasantly surprised! Our order arrived well within the time allotted, delivery driver was very polite, order correct, food was hot, chips were lovely, kebab was nice with a lot of salad, meat was good, only negative thing was we weren’t keen on the chilli sauce but other than that, thank you for a much needed late night meal, on the whole we enjoyed it very much & would order again.

They should be proud to have customers, and serve them right! They should look for quality to keep the business going on, in this hard times for business and for customers who keep going back,spending money ( sometimes just a treat for the family ) and to be served the most disgusting and unacceptable meals is a joke!! Whoever is in charge should step up an take that business back to good, beacuse if you don't, you'll be losing a lot of customers, meaning a lot of money, and that can lead to a failing business!! You won't see my money going back there for sure!! Good luck!!

Right. I've given these guys a bad review before. One star. I've given them another chance tonight. Food was trash. Burnt chips. The chefs mixed kebab was gristle and grease. They didn't even pay attention to my order and dumped everything in one box. Imagine pedigree chum covered in oil with some cartilage thrown in. Vile , vile, vile ! I'll stick to waterside grill or mr favourite from now on. 90% in the bin. Even the pitta was rock hard. Absolutely the worst takeaway I've had in 30 years

Large pizza very soggy and overloaded with cheese the toppings are fine but so much cheese made it soggy and un eatable. Phoned to tell them they wasn’t interested.

Great takeaway. New favourite. Great prices. I had a kebab and chips. And drink. Misses had burger chips and we had mozerlla sticks to share. Good food. My only wish is the chilli sauce could be spicer. Will be returning

ordered from just eat and was a regular customer. i ordered 2 pizzas and large garlic for me and care staff. i always note that i cannot walk due to a stroke so they needed to ring the doorbell and a carer would come. instead they rang me on arrival and i said give carer a min as i cant come myself. he lefy immediately leaving 35 pound of food outside. i r. eventually he said he would send the order ang them and they said they would heat them up which i said no chance. eventual he said he would send the order again that never arrived. you owe me a meat feast a veggie and garlic. for an apology you can send chips gratis. untill then the house is using mr favourite which loses you about a 100 a week if not more. so great customer service and goodwill don't want compensation i just want the order i legitimately paid for that YOU thought was fair to leave out sid eafter i told you i couldn't get to it.until then you lose our business. if you feel strongly about this sue me i have you on cctv abandoning a 35 pound order. as for your response great reward for customer loyalty..shame on you

They claim they do 2 pizzas for £17.99, yet their menu is so complicated you can't actually get this to work. The closest i got was maybe ordering 2 identical pizzas. Who wants 2 pizzas the same? So i called them to try and sort it out but low and behold their phone number is invalid. Brilliant. Papa John's here i come.

Get takeaway few times a week ordered kebab last night and it was just chunks of fatty meat like it was the scraps was surprised as food is normally okay can be hit and miss at times but last night's kebab was a shocker

I ordered a lamb shish kebab a d may as well have ordered a salad kebab!! 4 small pieces of well overcooked meat and a mass of sald. My husband had a chicken donna kebabs and chips. Thats was ok but pretty greasy. We wont be ordering from chico land again.

Best Pizzas in town, really fresh ingredients, great vegetarian food too which is hard to find in a takeaway. They serve amazing skin on fries too! (I'm often dissapointed by take away chips) They have the biggest menu I've ever seen from a takeaway too so lots of options. The guys that work here are also really lovely! - Bee

Great takeaway! Always get delivery, be warned we've had it take over an hour and a half to arrive before. So expect a wait, it is nice though, we have it regularly but just allow an hour for delivery!

Got a mixed kebab last night got home to find no donor meat in there And the other lamb and chicken was terrible And chewy. I was told this place has gone down hill and I shouldn't have give them the benefit of doubti can honestly say if you want a decent kebab then do come here. Nice chicken shish kebab with chips. Generous amount of chicken for a medium kebab and the chips were skin on fries which are my favourite. Had salad with the kebab and it was really fresh and I like the way Chicoland don't load the salad into the pitta but put it alongside the pitta and chicken in the tray. Chicoland also have the big green chilli peppers plus it was a great price..why not 5 stars, only because the shop badly needs a makeover so it doesn't look very inviting.

Right ordered every week propbley for the last year maybe 2 years as big on takeaway people and I orders a large chicken kebab and a pizzas and paid extra for pineapple and we got a small chicke kebab with hardle no salad and a pizza with 7 peaces of pineapple on it . Its the first time I will say I will never order again from you I am discussed that you can charge what you charge and when try talking to anyone you get fobbed off well terrible service

Usually great food. But lately we've been waiting well over an hour for delivery each time phoning them to ask when it's coming. Will stop using them as our go to takeaway anymore.

Average food at best… dry kebab meat and rubbery pizza… but frozen cold Chips.. actually all the food was cold and took a hour and a half to arrive… Won’t order again..

There pizzas are the best and for the price love the customer service it's great and very good at making up for mistakes they may have made I don't have anything bad to say as they are a small local kebab shop better than brixham grill in my opinion brixham grill has made more mistakes than I can account for and they don't offer good prices......... I highly recommend Chico land pizza best prices, tastes amazing and they handle everything great

21/08/21. Ordered from their website. Waited over an hour and their order tracking said delivered, when no food arrived. Phoned them up and had a snotty woman stating the order never arrived, even though £30 had been taken from the bank. Wanted to complain but woman hung up. Food eventually arrived and was cold. Not using them again!!!

Don't usually have any problems with the food but dissapointed to wait 2 hours for a delivery.I know this time of year is overly busy but we order every week so would be nice to have some priority for being a local regular.

Worst kebab I've had in years and I've had some bad one's........ Lamb Shish meat was full of cartilage or gristle and inedible, doner meat is poor quality as far as donermeat goes and the box the food came in had hard fat in the bottom, my 5 Yr old daughters chips are like rubber 99% of my order is in the bin...... Hello people Wesley Man here . Worst take away I have ever had.The kabab meat was like dog food wait I wouldn't give it to a dog!I spent £20 and it's put me of take away for life that twenty pound if I had spent it on food from Tesco etc you get my drift FuMUFCDo not waste your money in this place desgusting food . More like fun dog food.

Greasy , got a simple order wrong , usually decent , need the boss back to get em back to usual standards.
