Papa John's Pizza in Torbay

Extremely disappointing and not even worth the price of the petrol to collect. Ordered half and half , clearly Pappa Johns staff don't know what a half is. Ended up with two slices of WORKS meager toppings no Pepperoni, no Italian style sausage, no ham and hardly any cheese, rest of pizza was supposed to be MEATS , but it was like playing spot the meat. A 99p frozen pizza from Iceland would have been more appetizing. Never again will I order from Pappa Johns. Order placed 17.02.24 lunchtime.

We use Paignton Papa Johns regularly, and honestly, we do not get what all the people are moaning about! Our pizza always arrives promptly, its always piping hot, well topped and damn tasty....blows the competition away! Keep it up boys n girls!

Been here a few time and although the food is really nice when it's fresh outta the oven, I'm sure the same can be said at any papa johns. What let's this place down is the staff!! The manager I assume who he is, the short lad with arm. He walks round and talk like he is from the stone age!.. very grumpy and doesn't speak much. I think the franchise manager needs to send in some mystery shoppers to see why this particular shop has bad reviews both on here and Google. Wowser.

My daughter place an order with Just Eat at 12pm, after 2 phone calls to the store, the young man Daryl knocked on the door with a piping hot pizza and was SO apologetic that it had taken over two hours to arrive. He said he is actually a papa johns delivery man NOT just eat, he had been called and asked to go into work early as not due in until 6pm because they don’t know where the just eat driver has gone!! What a lovely young man Daryl is and papa johns…he is an absolute credit to you. The pizza is amazing and from now on we WONT be using just eat, we will be coming to you direct ⭐️ Please could you let Daryl know what a credit he is to your company.

Tasty pizza, nicer than Dominos. However, topping was meagre and a let down. Domino's is more generous with toppings . 25/7

Ordered from here the other day.. And again had a decent pizza.. Love the pizzas from this place.. Just wish they'd bring out new ones to try more often...

In my opinion the best takeaway pizza chain, always been great fast delivery accurate orders and great tasting. Much prefer compared to domino's and pizza hut.

Okay, I have been here 3 times already in a week so, it is time to review this place! The Food/Pizzas are so good! I don't know anywhere else in Devon were the best pizza is. Like as soon as I walk by, I always want to go inside. With also the decorative stuff, I love the signs and poster and the Interior design. The staff are quite friendly but, should be paid more because of there hard work I've seen so far. They make sure you enjoy what you eat. There is also a selection for vegan people. The pizza's are the best part, they are so delicious! and would highly recommend for you to go there. I tried the Supreme Margherita Pizza which is so good! But, a lot more to tell about this place but I'll leave the experience to you. :D

Had a few times from here now and I'm really impressed.. The pizzas are really nice.. Best pizza place in paignton by far.. Will definitely order again...

Ordered a collection deal which was ready quickly. Food was ok, but toppings were far too minimal, really very stingy. What we had was tasty enough, it just could have been way better.

Ive got to say...i dont know what these folk are talking about below...never had a bad Pizza from Paignton or Torquay, and we order regularly, mainly from Paignton....always hot, plenty of topping, delicious and delivered within 30 mins normally with the odd times 45 mins - 1hr if very busy. Our family have tried them and now wont go anywhere else...they were comfirmed Dominos regulars...not now!!

Had the worse pizzia ever do not waste your money.we phoned up hour asking were are pizzia 1 hr later turned up .not much topping burnt dry and horrible. A asda pizzia has more taste and topping. Got a fiver off next time but why would buy another poor pizzia when would eat at home or dommo

Went to pay for my pizza they don't accept cash...pizza and time wasted. Avoid. Staff have no ability to function.

So I placed an order on there app at 11am to he delivered on 5pm. At 5.20pm and have them a call as there useless tracker claimed it was being checked at 4.40pm and hadn't changed in 40 minutes. The guy who answered the phone claimed it hadn't left the shop and was still on the hot rack due to no drivers. So not only did they have my order 6 hrs in advance, they didn't bother to call me to say it would be late!!! They obviously knew it was gonna be late. So no phone call, no apology and no discount on my next order. Will I be going back? Nope!! My advice is save your money on the recently opened franchise and go to the normal high end pizza shop.

I have been a huge fan of Papa John's for many years. This store does not represent the brand in any way. Pizzas ordered online 2 hours in advance. Despite several phone calls in which I was lied to by staff and management ("Your pizzas have just come out of the oven and will be with you soon" then 30 mins later "Your order is out on the road now and on its way to you" the order never arrived When I called to cancel the order the brave manager who'd lied to me earlier wasn't available to speak to me and I've had to email a customer service address to request a refund. Overall disgustingly inadequate service.

Food was 2 hours late, half of it was stone cold. They forgot part of the order. Really unhelpful on the phone. They all blamed each other for the mistakes and the food was horrible. We threw mist of it away. Don't waste your money

Went here as heard lots of hype over there pizzas so thought when the new restaurant opened in Paignton thought I would try it out but my pizza was very soggy tasted horrible and staff were very rude won't be eating or or from them...

Ordered a meal deal on a Friday Night during 1st week the of opening expecting to have to wait a while, the wait wasn’t too long but it was worth it, pizza & sides were great, really fresh piping hot food delivered very tasty. 1...

Great pizza @ a great price and quick service , all round top quality ! Giving Dominos a run for its money 💴
