Domino's Pizza in Torbay

Employees absolutely drunk, pizza been delivered cold , when I was trying to claim it all I heard was laugh of drunk crew.

Only good things to say about this establishment! Especially my delivery driver, max lane was his name if I recall correctly. He was promptly on time, friendly and attentive to any issues I could have had. Would definitely revisit.

Ordered twice this month and both times the order has been wrong and required communication with branch, once delivered it took nearly 3 hours, I don't know what's happened in the last 2 months but it has gone downhill

Been here a few times the boy with black curly hair is always so rude. Also my daughter showed me a video of him picking the toppings off the floor and wall and putting them in the container with the clean topping. Guess him and his mates thought it was funny. This is the worst service I have ever received. I will be calling corporate. I'm disgusted.

Summary, this franchise is stitching up their customers deliberately giving them false information and overcharging customers by lying to them about when offers are valid. Just visited Dominos Torquay, asked for their 9.99 offer on a two toppings pizza and was told that it was only mon-friday. Seems odd, wasn't the case usually. Was told to pay 14.49 which I then did. I took their telephone number and left with my pizza and called them up 30 mins later. I asked for two toppings and over the phone was then told £14.49, I said holdon I've your menu here it says £9.99, oh yes we can do that. I said well holdon why couldn't I do that in store a moment ago, the fella on the phone said well you didn't ask for it, except I had, and was told it didn't apply, and I've now read your small print and it doesn't only apply mon-friday as stated. The chap on the phone kept making excuses whilst tieing himself in knots until I said I wanted the difference refunded, he said well as I've now eaten the pizza there was nothing he could do. Calmly I said that's nonsense, and it was a deliberate overcharging of customers for food. Again he said well you should have asked and I reminded him I did, but was told it doesn't apply at weekends. He tried to say I hasn't been overcharged, and I said yes I have since you just said I could have paid 9.99 and you charged me 14.49. I summarised by saying that essentially this franchise are stitching up their customers deliberately giving them false information and overcharging customers by lying to them about when offers are valid, the fella on the phone then hung up on me. What a load of complete nonsense. Dominos UK you need to have a word.

Very disappointed 😞, ordered online was over £35 forgot to order extra dips 🫢, thought I could just get extra and pay the driver, NO not with domino's couldn't possibly do that !! "CASH" Don't seem to know what that is !!!, well phoned to order extra dips, tried to pay and my bank was not having it 😑, (even though enough funds in there for £2.99 !!!), very disappointed although did send the driver back with 2 dips once we had finished! , Awesome guy, maybe get him on the phone instead 🤔

Ordered a small simple order and the pizza was missing it’s sauce and was not cut what a disaster Was cold when I had received it and not giving us a refund

My friend ordered a drink that was meant to be for a different place, the man I was on the phone to hung up on me and came off as passive aggressive on the phone. I’m severely unimpressed and it is severely poor customer service and devious behaviour for not allowing my friend a refund. Absolute piss take.

Great tasting pizza as you would expect from Dominos, but I ordered a cheese and tomato pizza and took over an hour, I know they where busy due to it being Xmas eve but they where putting deliveries before online and pick up in store orders which delayed things massively they should be made and cooked in order they come in.

Went to order food, once we put the order in and went to pay we only had cash but was told its card only now they don't take cash at all. It would of been nice to be told this to begin with so we didn't have to go through placing the whole order first.

Put order in and when ready it was missing the chicken stripper's. The guy who took the order was so busy trying to give me the best price and forgot to put the whole order in. Needless to say my grandson wasn't happy

Usually only write reviews if it's a good one. This is an exception. For just under £30 we received 2 small dry overcooked pizza, a small box of lukewarm wedges and a 1.5 litre of coca cola ( not the diet cola ordered). Not impressed !! Only positive, it was delivered within the promised timescale.

Ordered a delivery for 1730-1745, arrived at 1715, lucky we were in, then got a message at 1744 to say it’s out for delivery

As the title suggests. I was also refused a replacement or refund. The pizza was also ice cold. I was called "mate" over the phone. I am definitely not his mate. No apology either! Absolutely terrible service. Avoid!!!

Apart from the delicious pizza, our pizza was delivered by your friendly driver Andy. He was prompt, polite and he went above and beyond our expectations. When we found out we were missing a drink, he went straight back to HQ to get it for us. Very happy with the service, thanks Andy!

Great staff, Great deals for pizza and good delivery times can always count on dominoes.

Twice messed up our orders. We then had to wait for another two pizzas as we had paid for them via app . Then pizzas were terrible undercooked food falling off pizzas soaky and can't even slice pizzas correctly lately hacked at like pre school kids would . When you pay domino's prices please employ staff that can at least place toppings on to a pizza 🍕 and cook it but also get orders correctly done in the first place. Gone down hill sadly

Ordered 2 pizzas for collection, very nice, was made perfectly. Also when collected the staff were very friendly a credit to your company.

Pizza making without any gloves. A pizza maker touching first his hair. Then making pizza.

As a family we had a pepperoni pizza, meat feast and chicken pieces. It was delicious! We didn’t’ leave a thing!!! The driver was kind and friendly, arrived quickly, high recommend. Written by one of my 9 year old students for our English lesson.

Waited over 2 hours 2 phone calls to be told it was just going in the oven refund would take 3-5 days what a joke of a place . When you receive order you should tell the truth we were told it would be with us in 30 minutes

After waiting over an hour and a half for our delivery I called to see how much longer it would be and was told they didn’t know! Therefore I changed my delivery to collection but when I got the food home the order was wrong. We normally love Dominos pizza however tonight was a total let down. The only positive thing I could say is the lady who served me was very nice.

Recently it has been quite good compared to say a year ago wish they would bring back sundried tomato garlic and herb sauce, aswell as dough balls

Similar situation to another reviewer. Domino’s failed to delivery our order, took over an hour ans then seemingly delivered to wrong address (we didn't see anyone near the house from time of order to 2 hours later so unsure whether they sent anyone in the first place) Did not refund food and did not remake the order, just said if it was delivered to the wrong address then that was it. 'Policy was in place that once food was cooked they could not remake any food' Very poor service.

Pizza took 2 hours to come, staff and driver claims to have delivered to wrong address but didnt see anyone coming near the house at all since ordering. Place won't compensate for pizza or make a new order to send through.

A very good visit, the place was clean and the staff were polite all I could ask for really.

Domino’s failed to deliver my order saying they could not find us. When questioned about why they did not call they said their phone went dead…. When questioned about not phoning when the pizza was returned to store …. No excuse. Anyhow the person in charge said policy was in place that once food was cooked they could not remake any food and in this case no one had any authority to give refunds. Did get an email from the store saying sorry about my situation. Terrible service if you can call it that. Basically took my money.

Polite delivery boy..a smile really makes a difference! Food was ok..tge usual standard.. could do with the pieces being more regularly sized instead of a few skinny pieces and a few extra fat, but otherwise good.

Pretty disappointed with the food this evening. Pizzas we're both a bit soggy in the middle, and both the chicken strips and wedges were pale and undercooked. It was delivered quick enough but would rather have waited ten minutes longer and had better cooked food.

Used this Domino's last night. Really easy using the app. Quick service, safety measures in place for C-19 and most importantly, the food was excellent. Great value for money.

We ordered yesterday afternoon 2 pizzas from Domino- see front. Both pizzas was burnt. I don’t know how chefs can send pizzas like that to their customers?! If you burnt the pizza, make another one!

Very expensive for a pizza that has way too much sauce and not enough cheese, or toppings even when you add extra cheese. Customer service isnt great either.

Gutted wanted a pizza ordered on line away on holiday the wouldn’t deliver to the cabin we are staying in told the driver to cancel the order as I couldn’t come down to reception 10 min walk as it meant leaving my son on his own I can’t find anything on the companies website but he says the are not allowed to deliver but they have flyers around the park the The then called again to tell me the pizza was at reception after we had the conversation very poor service glad dominos aren’t like this at home

I really don't get these pizza places. What a con they are. They offer 2 for 1 pizzas but you end up paying nearly 15 quid for the 2. And they were only medium ones. That's not an offer !!! And if you want more than 2 fillings it costs you quite a lot extra. Miserable staff and boring pizza which really doesn't cost that much money to produce. Total rip off. Unfortunately it's what the kids of today love and think is a treat. As you can probably guess, I'm old!! I just went there to spoil my grandchildren whilst going to watch Argyle get beaten by The Gulls !!!!!

Bit pricey but food is made quick and tastes very nice. Ask about offers.

Either the pizza isn't cut properly and you have to rip it apart, there is way too much sauce, there's hardly any cheese or toppings. It's a lottery of wether you have a good pizza. Still better than pizza hut in every way though.

We were staying nearby so ordered to collect. Had no problems. Was ready on time and all pizzas were hot. Would order from there again.

Ordered a pizza with onion to collect about 10pm. After getting home and eating the garlic bread I found the onion was black. Rang to complain at 10:20, told not to eat any and they would bring a replacement out and it would be long. 10:32 they rang me back as lost my address and told it was cooked. 10:53 I rang as still hadn't received the pizza, the shift leader was rude and made out they were doing me a favour!! And that is was out with the delivery driver. 11:06 I finally received the pizza. I went in and complained the next day, shift leader had a smug smile, I received a small 500ml bottle of coke for the issue. Very poor overall.

Rung both of Domino's Pizza in Torquay and neither wanted make a delivery to Chelston in Torquay at 14.30 this afternoon 21/12/18. So forget ordering a delivery from either of these outlets they can stuff their cheese where it hurts....!!

Placed a large order in afternoon for delivery at 5.30. Arrived 6.10. Squashed boxes. No VAT receipt - they asked me to go and pick it up! Will try Papa Johns next time.

Our meal for four with sides was delivered in damaged boxes, was squashed inside and was seriously cold! I understand sometimes mistakes happen but the attitude from the store and from customer services when I tried to complain was that of total disinterest. I will go elsewhere in the future and I strongly encourage you to do the same. Dominos Torquay do not deserve your custom.

Just shy of an hours wait to have our order delivered from less than a mile away. The delivery driver didn’t speak a word just handed me damaged boxes with squashed pizzas inside. On starting our food everything was cold. I phoned to complain and they offered to come and take the food back but because my hungry children had started eating we were told that couldn’t happen anymore. They offered two free pizzas on our next order but are unable to confirm this in writing and I have little confidence that they would ever be available so I asked for a partial refund instead which was refused. I have never had such poor service or poor, cold, squashed pizza (the wedges and chicken were also cold. The warmest part of our meal were the cookies!) For us pizza is a guilty pleasure treat - but not tonight!

Our Children like dominoes but my Wallet does not.1 Medium pizza averaging at £16 is quiet steep and unfortunately the deals don't always suit the spend level or the amount of pizzas required. Personally I have always thoughts pizzas are over priced and for me this spoils the experience as its just a dough base with sauce and toppings so these companies must be making a killings selling pizzas

**** customer service. Rang me because he didn't know how to get here. Then rang me to come outside to the main road to collect the food because he couldn't be asked to get off his bike. Food was freezing cold! Gave up with even attempting to eat it. Straight in the bin!

Ordered 3 pizzas with sides today, and after a 40 minute wait we get 2 pizzas and not all the sides delivered. 1 of the pizzas was completely wrong. And after ringing to tell them we have been miss delivered a pizza,we get “oh sorry we have been busy today” (you being busy is not an excuse for the lack of care/pride taken in your job) so now we have to wait another 30 minutes for our pizza that was missed and our pizza that was wrong to be delivered. Absolutely shocking service, but thank god we got a free bottle of Fanta..... really crap service from the new seafront store. Let’s down a very popular and usually well organised company.

Horrible experience. Very unprofessional and rude staff including the manager at the store. Refused to take an order as said were too busy, on insisting pretended to take order and did not put it through the system and made me wait half an hour, absolutely appalling.

Just had a pizza delivered ordered extra chicken,not much on it all the tomato base is thick on the outside of the pizza and nowhere else. Ordered double decadence and no cheese in the base. Come on poor service the food is not correct. Surely there must be a company recipe as the st marchurch dominos pizza is a lot better. Look at trip advisor a lot of customers are saying the same thing so please try to sort it out as all I want is a Great dominos pizza.

Poo staff, think maybe one guy I've met there was helpful and friendly when wrong orders occur ( notice i said 'orders' as they've cocked mine up multiple times unfortunately) the rest there just evidence the state of play with our next generation of workforce and customer service. There I said it... I must be getting old cos I used the term 'next generation' Shame too, as I would gladly junk up on pizza forever and at least Domino's do the tortilla thin pizza base, which is a win in my eyes for that at least.

Ordered a pizza with chesse in base it arrived short of cheese. Week later done the same but phoned and told them to put the extra cheese in the base as the week before it was short of runny cheese ( double decedence).this not done again phoned talked to the new manager he confirmed I did phone also confirmed it was not done as the chef was not told. Another ruined pizza. As compensation they said they would give me a free side next time as long as it's not chicken? WOW. Complained to head office to be told I could have paid £1.50 for extra cheese but nobody in the store knew anything about this. Need to be trained better. Again head office replyed once and stop emailing again bad service all around just look at the other customer reviews.

Ordered today(14.01.18)pizza arrived on time but was absolutely terrible. There was very little sauce or cheese on the pizza and none at all on the outside 2 inches all around the perimeter. Standards seem to be slipping and I won't be returning.

Pathetic service. The website made an error 5 minutes before they were closed. Phoned up for enquire at 23:32, 2 minutes after they stopped taking orders and the boy on the phone made absolutely no effort whatsoever to try and remedy the situation or at least take some action to ensure future custom. Viajamos mucho y me encanta Dominos. Así que cuando ayer en Torquay Torquay nos encontramos con Dominos. Nos impresionó que no Meteor Pizza como es nuestro favorito, así que fuimos por un poderoso con mucha carne en su lugar. Normalmente me £9. Sólo 99 colección pero no hacer esto y nos ofreció de dos pizzas en bogof casi 20 libras. Así que pedimos.

I wanted a meteor pizza as my favourite, they don't do them in this franchise. So I wanted a £9.99 large pizza collection only. They told me it was buy one get one free at nearly £20 and that they didn't do this deal. So ordered and sat done looking at a menu, notice they do have a collection only deal at £10.50, but they didn't mention this deal. The pizza seemed under cooked and still doughy. There was not much cheese on it and it seemed to have less sauce too. Ive used dominos for many many years now and have to say this is the worsed pizza I have ever had! I would not recommend and I certainly will not be returning!

That was my first and last visit. Mediums should be 11.5 inch, large 13.5 inch diameter. Pity staff are not aware of this. CHECK YOUR PIZZA BEFORE YOU TAKE A BITE. Pity the staff don't care about that. Bad customer service

disgusting phone manner I actually read about this woman being unbelievably rude and I thought ' I'll make my own mind up' 45 seconds it took ????? whoever she is she is a foul girl, This is the first time I have called Dominoes and the last. Bit of advice to the management, BIN whoever she is because no one wants to eat from your place

We can't fault Dominoes as used quiet a few times and we have not experienced any problem. We find the delivery times are good food nice and hot and the food is nice and tasty Overall another enjoyable experience and we would recommend
