Awful pizza. Hardly any topping and forgot the extras we paid for. Handmade shoe soles should be what they advertise. Very disappointing!

Had my order delivered 20 minutes late. They changed my pizza to tomato sauce instead of BBQ. My chicken poppers got changed to potato and was slightly cold upon arrival despite still being a little warm. Not happy at all avoid like the plague!

Very hit and miss, sometimes food arrives prompt and warm, other times it can arrive cold, you can be left waiting over 2 hours for delivery and fairly often they forget something or get your order wrong. Just today we have been waiting 2 hours with zero updates from the store. Probably better off ordering from Dominos down the road.

Pizza arrived 20 minutes after it was flagged on the App as ‘delivered’. Pizza had has clearly been in a delivery bag for an age, as the cheese was translucent. The filling was seriously lacking and in some places two inches in from the edge. Worst pizza I’ve ever had.

Ordered at 5.45pm… Said it would be delivered by 6.15pm- 6.35pm. Didn’t turn up until 7.05pm after chasing, Then when it did arrive it was cold!! Spent nearly £50 and had to microwave it. Just a joke!!

Test of pizza was delicious compare to domino's as well as with good price.

Friendly staff, better in test than your great competitor in red and blue.

Walked in to make a purchase....staff were using some poor language between themselves and when I asked what was the £9.99 deal the staff member said 'what do you want?' as a 1st time shopper here I found this type of service very poor, so walked out and 20 metres walk into Dominoes Pizza and got a warm welcome from cheerful staff.

Still not here and they keep sahing its 5 mins away!

the extra dips I paid for, were not delivered. Wasn’t expensive but it’s Not the first time it’s happened, so it’s annoying. Offered a delivery of them to compensate after calling, still nothing 45mins later !!

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from Papa Johns, placed an order before closing time, order was accepted, payment was taken -£45. But apparently they delivered the order. Tried calling the restaurant no answer, said they were closed. Maybe don’t accept orders so close to closing time and say you’ve delivered the order when you haven’t. -£45 gone because some people are too lazy to do their jobs.

Ordered during opening times, accepted my order, took payment, never delivered my order.

The food was on time but it was on the later side (we were given a window of 13:05-13:35 and it arrived at 13:34

pizza wasn't cut when it arrived

After a twenty minute delivery time change it went straight from order received, skipped delivery and went straight to "enjoy your food" without delivery having been made.

Really wish you new the difference from a garlic and herb dip to your other nasty garlic dip that taste like gone of milk! Order 4 extra garlic and herb dip and then you sent me garlic special dip witch there is nothing special about that one! Take it of the shelves. Also the staff could do with some training on how to cut a pizza properly instead of tickling with a blunt pizza cutter!

Food was really late and the quality wasn’t great either. Chewy/tough dough and burnt toppings.

The worse pizza I've ever eaten. Thick inedible base with hardly any topping. Total waste of money. Had pizzas from here in the past which were better. I won't be going again.

Personal choice but the crust was way too much and the pizza on a whole lukewarm warm 7/10.

Great food and delivery but the app didn’t catch up with when it was being prepared/delivered so it was much earlier than expected. Nothing really to complain about but I might have been busy.

The Vegan Works pizza didn't have the same number and amount of toppings as pictured. There was no vegan sausage.

Made to wait 2 hours for delivery on an order when ordering hour before close. Called store before closed and either lied to about it just being collected as they closed. Or apparently they take 2 hours to deliver and they deliver cold pizza. Terrible customer service as they send the issue back to the store to sort so good luck getting a refund. I'm still waiting to hear back from someone to be helpful.

Disappointed with garlic pizza sticks. couldn't taste any garlic at all so don't know whether missed off, but it meant they were rather bland.

Ordered at 6pm after food finally arrived at 8:15pm. Not good enough. Poor service.

Food turned up over 2 hours late. Tried ringing restaurant but they weren't picking up. Restaurant on Just Eat was suddenly not taking orders. Presumed my order was cancelled so ordered elsewhere. Was horrified when the driver turned up at 21.15. He didn't want to know & practically threw the food at me & walked away. Tried ringing the restaurant but it kept ringing, then I was cut off.

Original time was 18:40-19:05 and arrived at 20:24.

Pizza Never came and apparently you don’t know how to answer the phone

Over 2 hours late and barely warm.

Food arrived 1 hour and 10 minutes after initially delivery time, came cold so had to put it in the oven ourselves!

Food still hasn't arrived it's been over an hour, I am diabetic and was put at risk because of this

Not only was the food an 1 hour and 45 minutes late. The pizza it self was squashed and stuck to the lid.

3 times I have given them the benefit of the doubt and each time massive wait, missed items and stone cold pizza. Just get a rude answer on the end of the phone when you try and call in. Really dreadful, hope someone from Papa Johns actually reads this. To everyone else be warned. Better local options

Order was late due to location of the order however doesn’t mean it’s ok to arrive cold and partially inedible, not happy with customer service nore am I happy with the fact it was almost a hour late. Would have ordered from dominos had I knew this was the case at least their orders get delivered on time.

Absolutely terrible customer service, 2hrs 36 mins for 2 x pizza and 2 x sides. I rang after waiting 2hrs to get told that's the way it goes... £60 order which was luke warm on arrival. No more custom from me. The only best thing was the polite and apologetic delivery driver

The pizza was not what I ordered 1 of the sides was missing 2 bits of chicken The other sides was missing the dip The pizza was, according to the tracker, in transit for around 35 minutes (the place is a 10 minute drive on a bad day). So, it was luke warm on arrival. But, the tracker isn't a tracker, it says the pizza is with you after a set amount of time (it's happened enough that I know that now) If it was the first time or a rare thing, I'd just not worry about it too much, maybe they were having a bad night, but the last 3 times I've ordered, at least 2 or more of the same things have happened. I've gone out of my way to write a review, that's how bad it was. I normally only write good reviews for big things This has basically made me think take out isn't worth it any more, it's extremely overpriced and woefully disappointing

Despite the food being late, the staff were very helpful and polite. The food is delicious and pipping hot, well worth the wait.

Food is good as usual, but they forget dips that are ordered so regularly that it can't just be a coincidence, more like an easy way to make a quid without doing anything. Store manager is useless and won't refund anything.

Delivery was very late. Got a notification saying the order was delayed but was even later than that. Was missing 2 Chicken poppers when there was supposed to be 10. Other than that, the food was delicious although extremely expensive, even with the 50% off Just eat discount (I spent £32 on two pizzas, two sides and a small Pepsi ((THAT WAS WITH THE 50% OFF.)) I would order from here again but must let my finances recover first haha.

Food is always good and arrived hot however they seem unable to deliver anywhere near on time - real shame.

The just eat website said 20minute wait time it turned into 1 hour. I have a picture of how the food arrived. it looked like it was dropped on the floor.

After a very troubling start to our takeaway this evening, ordered the food at 1926 online to have 3 confirmation emails sent over got I contact with them over the phone to find that they are having problems with the online service at the moment! After several calls we managed to get hold of the manager clare I believe who went above and beyond to help and recitfied the issue absolutely lovely lady she is definitely a credit to your company!!! We did eventually get our food at around 2115 due to the issues which can't be helped we now have 3 very full children thank you!

Eventually received my order 1 hr 45 minutes AFTER ordering!! Food cold, after chasing up twice I’m not impressed at all, if they can’t handle the volume of orders then either get more staff or turn online ordering off for a bit!

Was nearly 2 hours late on delivery and 2hours45 from time ordered 2 phone calls 1st one I was told it’s already left so on its way so when I phoned back 30 minutes later and was told they were going to do a fresh order and resend my order out . They agreed I would get a full refund on my order which I haven’t received as of yet . Also one of the dips was missing and pizza was just not hot enough.

My food was ordered and hadn’t arrived 2 hours later, phoned the restaurant and they have had to remake it 2 hours later which means my food will take nearly 3 hours from time of order to time of potential delivery

Helpful staff and lovely food. My food got delivered very quickly by a lovely young lady. Definitely recommend if you’re wanting a nice meal at home with the family! ❤️

I’ve never had a pizza so greasy! The dips ordered were disgusting just like margarine no garlic flavour at all! Will not be ordering again!

Service was 10/10! Although we were slightly outside delivery area at Brokerswood holiday park they helped us with delivery; will be using again. Great teamwork guys

Nice food, delivered warm as well which is unusual these days compared to other companies! Papa Johns is usually really pricey but with their recent offers is more justified

Visited Papa Johns for the first time Saturday evening quite late, past 10 and was greeted by a surprisingly helpful young lady. I couldn’t decide and she told us not to rush putting us under no pressure to take our order. When I decided not to bother as I wasn’t that hungry, she talked me into making a small section of my husbands pizza suitable for me, I am a vegetarian so his meat and spicy wasn’t suitable. She suggested it first and I declined, then she offered a second time. Thank you so much for making the effort, I really enjoyed it. This gives me hope, so many times I have been served by workers that really can’t be bothered. She made the effort to be helpful, and was kind and caring. I will definitely be back in again. Thank you again!

Food was cold. And late. For the price (£17) for a small pizza, you would expect more.

Took 2.5 hours for it to arrive, pizza was cold, delayed 3 times, last delay said 23:25 latest delivery and it arrived 23:45 after ordering at 21:33 called restaurant and didn't even get an apology, appalling attitude and service!! If I could have given 0 stars I would have, especially on delivery time as just got given excuses

Me and my partner recieved excellent service the other night from Claire, the poor girl was working all on her own yet still managed to interact with us. I think it's disgusting and dangerous to make a young girl work in this shop all by herself late at night. In comparison to domino's where they have at least 3 to 4 members of staff!!! Papa John's pizza needs to do something before something bad happens!!! Thank you Claire you were brilliant.

Awful service. Pizza delivered 45 mins after the tracking updated to delivered so was of course cold. Was told to contact head office who'd give me a full refund; they offered me a discount for the next order and then ignored every email I've sent since asking for the refund. Put a review on here to say as much, they replied that I should email customer services to rectify the issue. Did so, they ignored me. In total have had 6 emails ignored. And the pizzas aren't good from here anyway so just don't waste your time. Use someone who isn't a chain/franchise instead.
