Great service and very good price 9/10 overall Highley recommend

We had a table booked for midday, the waitress that initially greeted us was pleasant and helpful. The second of our party arrived a little after us and ordered their drinks, we had to chase up the drinks. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy. We ordered our food, 3 of the meals came out together with another meal following a good 5 minutes later by this time we had a waiter serving us, he wasn’t the most cheerful. We ordered 3 x coffees and a tea, we had been waiting 15 minutes when we glanced over to see our drinks on the side waiting to be bought over to us, we managed to get the waiters attention he bought them across, they were Luke warm. We drank them quickly and asked for the bill which was placed on the table with the card machine, no time to check the bill was correct, the bill was paid and the waiter was gone. The food was delicious but service was dreadful, we won’t be going back.

Unfortunately one of the pizza was the worst pizza we have ever had anywhere. One of the pizzas was really bad, and should never have left the kitchen in that state in my opinion. Its strange, because 2 of our pizzas were fine, but the third was a big burnt mess. As you can see by the pictures, our Padana pizza had nearly no cheese on it, and even had large patches without sauce, and about a tea spoon of relish on the whole pizza. It was also burnt, with a large raised/hollow/burnt bubble in it. It was garbage. We complained to the waitress, and they did offer to replace it in fairness. The problem is that we simply had no time to spare, and we had to make do. We also wanted to east together and not seperately. My partner managed to eat about half of the pizza by finding and scraping off a bit of cheese where she could find it, and putting it with a bit of base that wasnt burnt and that had sauce on. What annoyed me the most is that when it was time to pay, they tried to only knock 50% of the price off the pizza! I assume because my partner managed to choke half of it down? I had to explain that we didnt come in for half a pizza, and that the half of pizza that was eaten was not enjoyable, and that it was simply eaten because there was no other choice. The young waitress who served us was very very nice and managed to sort it for us, and in the end we did not pay for the pizza. I found this attempt to charge us very cheaky though. I offered to speak to the manager about it, but she never appeared. Mistakes happen, but this one was handled poorly. The other 2 pizzas were very nice!

Garlic & Prawn GF Pizza 🍕 & GF Dough Ball. Thanks for an awesome meal and day out. Will be hear again. £24.99 paid for the meal. Tip £5. Around 30 Al together. As again many thanks for today.

Staff were lovely and friendly and even though it was very busy made sure we were seen to frequently. Place is clean and welcoming.

Not bad. It is a franchise and for the price they have I have tried better Italians. Attentive staff and they have a detail with the children.

Well done Pizza Express Salisbury, my, what a turnaround you have achieved in these recent weeks. Second visit under this new manager and team, and they are doing an amazing job. Smiley/friendly welcome, spotlessly clean, attention to detail, excellent service, and delicious food. We had pizzas, and chef kindly did for me an off-piste proper Quatro Stagione which was excellent, thank you. (Why did they ever take it off?). The Manager is Beata (Betty) and is to be congratulated for the influence she and her team have brought this place, it feels good, start to finish. Thank you and again, well done :-). 10/10. The whole family went, 2 adults and two little girls. They served us very quickly and very well, the service was fantastic. The food is very good, both the pizza and the salads. The little ones ate for free that had a promotion.

Was on its way to being cold and not as good as in the restaurant, but I suppose that’s to be expected.

I went in the Salisbury branch today. It was raining heavily outside, I was with my 5 months old baby and didn’t want to soak outside in the cold while waiting for our bus which was delayed for 30mins. Thought I would have a quick tea or coffee and quickly breastfeed my baby as well who was already exhausted of the day. A young lady “welcomed” us at the entrance, looking very disorganised and bored. When I told her the above situation and that I would only need a quick hot drink she said she needed to check IF THAT WAS POSSIBLE AT ALL, went to the back of the restaurant then a minute later came back and refused giving me and my baby a table saying that all tables were booked! I asked her if really all tables were booked for the next 20 mins while I get some rest and a drink (the place was almost empty) and then she became a bit hesitant and confused. She obviously had zero experience in hospitality and was lacking any common sense not to refuse a breastfeeding mum with a baby. I could have spoken with the manager and make a scene there but in all honesty the last thing I wanted after this incident was spending my money there and getting served by this child with such an inappropriate behaviour. I have only been a few times in pizza express before but today was definitely my last visit there. Shame on them!

As per my wife review, shameful place by putting an unexperienced kid at the front who does not have common sense. How can you turn down a mum with a young baby when they try to have a quick break and find shelter from the pouring rain and have a quick coffee only? And telling them the place is fully booked at 11am in the Thursday morning (25/07/24), when it was literally empty. This place certainly does not want to earn money, there are a lot better places around like Leonardo's, Wildwood or Nole just to name a few where you are warmly welcomed!

The restaurant was cozy and lovely. The staff there was extrememly helpful on recommending food, introducing the use of the club app. The staff also interact with our kids and our kids love their experience in Pizza Express!

Lovely evening for 10th birthday. Nice atmosphere, great service and good food. They let us have our own cake for dessert and the lovely waitress brought it over with all the candles lit for us.

Missing chocolate brownie and appletiser.. I also added a tip of a pound for delivery.. really not happy!!!

Absolutely amazing food, really good quality ingredients and very fresh. Clean restaurant and bathrooms. Staff are very attentive and well presented. Ordered the dough balls with garlic butter and it was great. I ate the margherita pizza, wasn't the best but it was definitely really good. Would come here again if I happen to fly to the UK and visit Salisbury again.

Very dark inside and quite quite. Shown to a table immediately. Waited for the menu and then waited ages for the waitress to come and take our order. So hungry we chose a garlic bread starter a buddy salad bowl and a pizza with the salad in the middle. We noted we couldn't smell the usual smell associated with pizza etc.When it came it looked delicious and there it all went downhill. His pizza was so hard when he cut into it the base flew off the very wobbly table. He said its like dr otker pizza in sainsbury for a pound. My salad consists of alot of leaves with no flavour. No trace of balsamic infused beetroot just dry and boring. A few seeds a dab of humus and loads of vinagery tomatoes. When the bill came I said worse meal we've ever eaten . They took 20.00 off the bill which was kind but no ambience no atmosphere. And no Italian cooking smells nothing. Wish we'd gone next door. Sorry but thank you for the reduced bill.

They had no change, i want my 4 pounds

Joel was fantastic with our large group of 17! He went above and beyond to take great care of us and we felt like we were his priority. Food was delicious including the Pandana pizza and dough balls.

This restaurant is prioritising delivery orders meaning paying guests are ignored. We waited over an hour for 5 pizzas when there were only 5 other occupied tables. The staff were too busy with takeaways and just ignored all the people sat waiting. Many of us were very fed up. A real shame.

I have always eaten here for over 10 years but in the past year its very empty a lot which worried me, started getting takeaways, got plenty of veggie pizzas with random bits of meat on, then the past two times got a bad stomach after pizza here, so checked the hygiene rating and its a 1 . I won't be back anymore sadly .

Staff were standing right outside smoking. Same staff seemed to do this frequently! We then walked in and stood waiting to be seated for quite sometime as other staff stood around talking among themselves. Only 2 tables occupied, so not rushed off their feet. They made eye contact with us but still did not walk towards us. Eventually seated us and then took order. Forgot to bring us our drinks until prompted. Forgot the rainbow slaw until prompted. Actual food quite nice so well done chef. This restaurant is very badly managed and needs a shake up staff-wise. We then heard the waiting staff bitching about a table of 5 that were on their way at 9pm and wanted to refuse them as they closed at 10pm. Toilets out of order (apparently) and disabled toilet very dirty. Disappointing visit!

Amazing food today ! Big shout out to Leah who looked after us and her efforts were impeccable! Thank you for making us feel welcomed and the kind gesture with the birthday cake offering was such a lovely surprise which made our visit extra special.

I have to write to say how very disappointed I am in Pizza Express in Salisbury. We ordered online for a delivery from this restaurant, and even though payment was taken, and a time given for delivery, the meal was cancelled over an hour after it was supposed to have been delivered. I spoke to a so-called manager today (5/3/24), who did not apologise, and did not give me any reassurance that compensation for this utter incompetence by the restaurant could be given. I would just have liked him to have said, "I'm so sorry for your inconvenience. This should not have happened". But he said nothing of the sort, and actually put the phone down before we had ended our conversation!! We have had similar issues in the past, with tables being cancelled at the last minute and group bookings being told to pre-order, and then the restaurant not having the dishes we had ordered when we got there. There are many other good places to eat in Salisbury: I suggest you take your business there.

Firstly, I would like to state the pizza (on my behalf) was quite lovely, however the restaurant did let us down, To begin, there were certain staff members who were very disrespectful - such as practically smashing down the starters onto the table, That was very shocking, but futher issues continued as we had to wait around 35 minutes for our food; an appalling lack of time management skills. Our waiter was lovely, herself and another lady were very polite and bubbly, contrasting with other members of the group. Continuing, one of what we believe chiefs leaded over our seating area to talk to another member of the team. Disappointing attitude but decent food, however my family disliked their food, saying it was burnt and rubbery. Would not recommend eating at Sailsbury PE.

Great food and customer service, but the tables and chairs need to be cleaned properly

Dirty cutlery, dirty water glasses, no wine glasses, no paper for receipts, broken toilets, lacklustre staff. Extra anchovies £2.50 for 3 half fillets, chasing the pot washer for a desert menu… and that’s a city centre restaurant? Shame on you, Pizza Express, think you need to review your manager …

Garlic bread with cheese was like rubber and cold . Pizza both were also cold . Only item which was really nice was the chicken . Very very poor

Came in on valentine’s day, super busy but service was amazing multiple checks on us for food and more drinks, food was incredible!! all staff were super friendly and chatty and very lovely atmosphere all round!!

The restaurant had space to take us without a booking during half term week which was helpful. We were put next to an empty table of 4. Our table was very close to theirs, I asked if we could move which the waitress did for us. The food was good, however I think that the restaurant could do with an update. I felt it was quite expensive and not worth the money had we not had Tesco vouchers to cover most of the food bill.

I tried to cancel this order but it’s impossible to find how to do that from your website. Very dissatisfied and won’t use this platform again as a result

Excellent pizzas with decent level of toppings. A very nice bottle of pinot grigio. Attentive & efficient service. It was a busy restaurant which was nice to see in the current climate, but then if this restaurant is consistent with this all round quality service, then customers will come. We will be back.

Pizzas across all outlets have become really expensive, £15 plus, considering the cost of ingredients and offset against running costs, its money for old rope. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. The coke was ok if you like sugary drinks, and the jug of water was nice. The pizzas' different story. we ordered the veggie pizza, and the meat pizza, both bases were soggy and undercooked, the veg/meat was sparse. won't be using again

ordered for 16:40 arrive at 17:10, driver apologised as the restaurant was busy. Ordered 2 pizzas and doughballs, everything was only slightly warm, we live less than 15 minutes away. Food was OK not the best pizza.

This place is a joke of Salisbury. The service is bad, served by obviously uncaring employees and its food is sub-par. I have gone here three times, and EVERY SINGLE TIME i have been let down. Do not let this place give you a bad idea of Salisbury, because trust me, this is the backbone and filth of the cities food scene. Pathetic

It was delivered early part of predicted time, which was good. The food was lovely, but my one complaint is that with the dough balls, there was barely a tea spoon of garlic butter. Nowhere near enough. Disappointing.

The food was cold & delivery driver couldn't care less. Restaurant couldn't do anything. Hot food was in same bag as the 'cold drink' so obvious what happened. Will not be using just eat again!

My food was inexplicably both cold and burned…not sure how that is possible. Not good from an established franchise.

Lovely location opposite city square with guildhall. Small pizza express. I was given a table after waiting ages for anyone to make eye contact. Solo waitress without enough support so I don’t blame her. I decided to order takeaway. I had to wait again to order and had to get the waitresses attention and no inquiry from her whether I wanted a drink. She had some drunk customers to deal with. Ordered giadinera with normal mozzarella to take away. Pizza Hut have definitely given instructions to lessen everything. Only good portion was the artichokes. The tomato sauce was minimal and the raw onion was 4 times as much as should be so that by smell and taste it dominated everything. I took lots off sadly. Mozzarella was not very much. Base was not crispy. Sad really as they used to be so good and we’re the original taste of italy in the uk.

i went to pizza express salisbury with my 3 teenage friends. we were served quickly with our drinks and starters (even tho she made a joke that we ordered a lot of dough balls despite we bought one portion each)however firstly one portion of dough balls were forgotten and once we asked extremely nicely, she gave us a funny look and said ‘oh. i’m so confused’ we ordered our food and took around 30 minutes to come. we were served our pizzas there was absolutely no cheese on it , the worst pizza i’ve ever had, and the base was burnt. after our food we were eventually in a rush and asked the lady if we could have the bill she said. ‘sorry girls you’re gonna have to wait’. this is still after we had waited 45 minutes. it is evident they hate teenagers despite how kind we were to all of them.

We got served our drinks and starters reasonably quickly. But the waitress missed one portion of dough balls that we had payed for and was then rude to us when we asked for them. When the pizzas arrived, they had hardly any cheese on and they were burnt. I went with a group of 4 friends, all teenagers and the servers were rude to us and ignored us. When we came to ask for the bill, we waited ages for the server to come and help us split it.

Walked in and was ignored by the waitress even though the only other customer told her to deal with us. Shocking service wasn't even acknowledged so we walked out and had an amazing experience at Wildwood across the road. Don't plan to return to this Pizza Express.

We frequently visit this restaurant & slowly the standards are becoming worse. The toilets alone could do with a full refurbishment. Yesterday our pizzas were quite soft/doughy. We didn’t complain because they were edible & we were starving but not the usual standard we have come to love & expect. They had run out of kids menus which our daughter enjoys completing whilst waiting for her food to arrive, although the staff did get her some paper to draw on instead upon request. Most of the waiters/waitresses seemed a bit clueless so we assume they were quite new. I was also in full view of the kitchen & saw the female chef wiping her nose in the neck of her top! I’m not sure we’ll be coming back here any time soon unfortunately.

Really great meal, beautifully cooked food. Love the new mushroom starter. Team were friendly and efficient.

I ordered a salad for £13.95 and added extra Goats cheese ... there was none added to my order, i also addedadditional olives to my pizza none were added so i wasted the cost of all my add ons

I was online told ten past 7, then checked again when it was late and then said 7.40-8 it arrived at 8. Very tasty product would definitely buy again.

Came in for lunch today 19/08 - all the staff were smiling & friendly! Good food as always. Music a little loud.

The pizza is very good and perfect size. The icecream is tasty. The staff is great, my mother isnt the best in speaking english and the kind waitress (who did great and deserves a raise) asked where we are from and talked in german to my mother so she could understand everything better. Best pizza place I've been to in the UK so far. 6/5 Stars

Grotty place, crusty pieces of food on tables and it had only just opened for the day. Paint coming off walls. My salad was underwhelming and dough sticks weren't actual doughsticks as i know them (from 20 years of being a customer)...they were just a small sliced piece of dough and it wasn't cooked through. My partners calzone was nice though which is why I've given 2 stars. We had to call waiting staff over to get our bill as they were just chatting in the kitchen and they didn't ask how our food was. I did ask about the doughsticks and they said how they 'do' them depends on what they have available?? Erm...its dough? Anyway...safe to say we won't be back to Salisbury PE!

We had a wonderful dinner meal on Sunday evening with a party of 10, including 2 babies. The staff was incredibly attentive and patient with us as we struggled to get our orders together. After we placed our order, our food came out promptly and hot with all of our orders being correct. We had several different pizzas, including most notably the "Sloppie Guilupe" with added pepperoni and extra cheese. Which was delicious by the way. We also had a Calzone and the Carbanaro Pasta. Throughout our meal the staff was very attentive and we all thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We will returning to Pizza Express on our next visit to Salisbury.

Never going back again very rude manager Me and my gf when for dinner at 9. 15 after she finished work. We got there and we asked to get a pizza to take away the lady in pink jumper was was manger was very rude and said Yh whatever and chucked me the menu then after 2 mins came back and said rudely what do you want then which is very rude. After that I asked to use the loo she sighed and Yh Yh it’s up stair and then walked off. She never said how long it would be or never said thanks. So I said the a nother member of staff dw we are going. No idea how that lady got manger she is a disgrace to the company

Had the American classic pizza and quite honestly it was just like a frozen asda one in looks and taste.The salad wasnt much better ,a handfull of spinach ,a bit of rocket, a couple of tomatoes cut in half and a few bits of dry cucumber

Went there for our 20th wedding anniversary meal as Pizza express was our first date. The food as always was great and our waitress Viera was amazing, even took our photo when we asked. She was attentive and interested in listening to how we met. So glad we went for our anniversary meal.
