Domino's in Wiltshire

This has gone massively downhill, I suspect there has been a big change in staff.. Pizza came late after driver clicked delivered whilst the tracker showed he was still on the other side of town. When it finally came about half hour later, it was lukewarm at best and not quite cooked through. Phoned up while waiting and found the customer service was dismissive and seemed like he couldn't wait to put the phone down. I read another review which mentioned the driver clicking delivered way before delivery... I suspect this is so the branch delivery time looks better to the head office... naughty and not a good customer experience.

Bought a pizza on lunch time deal with bbq base and there was so much bbq on it enough for all of Devizes I didn’t eat in the end was looking forward to eating this after I finished work

Can’t rate the food because I didn’t get ANY Ordered through JustEat and got a full confirmation of the order. I called once after an hour and the guy said it was on the way. I called again half an hour later and then suddenly he claimed there was no order. Waited that long for nothing and the customer service was AWFUL, the worst I’ve ever experienced.

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with The Devizes Dominos last night. Ordered a pizza and a couple of sides which arrived around 8:30 (food lukewarm at best) minus one of the sides. We called them to inform them one of the sides was missing. They told us they would sort it and it would be out with us soon. By 9:30 we called again and were told the same thing. By 10:30 it hadn’t arrived and we concluded it wasn’t going to come, so went to bed. We were awoken at 11:30 by the doorbell with the driver with the side. Not sure we fancied the chicken strippers 3 hours after the rest of the food was delivered and we’d been a sleep! Terrible service, doubt we will go back.

Food arrived over an hour after ordering, cold and missing one pizza. Called and they said they’d send a new order with missing pizza aswell. 40 minutes later still nothing called and asked how much longer (nearly 9pm at this point) to be told “we’re not sending it my manager told me not to send you it and we’ll refund you” the manager is so rude and the customer service skills are seriously lacking and I’m yet to receive my refund…

My elderly neighbour ordered a pizza but it never arrived. The money was taken from the account. When challenged denied all knowledge of an order being placed and referred us to customer services. Very unhelpful and obstructive. I suspect that other elderly and vulnerable people have been exploited. I will of course be taking further action but please be warned.

Far too expensive. Pizza arrived cold and took almost 2hrs to arrive. Will not be ordering from here again

Order was delivered promptly but the pizza definitely had the “cut straight down the middle” slice removed. I’ve never had this issue from the Devizes branch before and I’m extremely disappointed it’s happened Freshness seals should be applied to prevent drivers doing this!

Waited for my deliver for almost 4 hours and still didn’t get , driver just pressed “delivered” and never get the food, and drivers attitude wasn’t the nicest, just hung up while I was speaking .

ordered from here last night and we ended up missing one pizza, the pizza that did arrive half of it was on the lid and when we did receive the missing pizza half of the cheese was missing. we also waited over an hour for the first delivery when we live local, the second pizza took an hour to arrive as well

Order pizza and sides for collection on evening of Sunday 5th May 2024. Took twice as long as it said for it to be ready to collect. I was outside when I got the notification it was ready so collected immediately. All was good on collection, however..... Once home food was lukewarm and out of the 14 chicken kickers 4 were a really small size (not much bigger than a KFC chicken popper) not great when they cost nearly a £1 a piece! Hoping this is a one off as food is normally good and hot but not on this visit.

Worst pizza ever, came over done very disappointing from dominos

To be fair rating is for the dirty fries or whatever you'd like to call them, Tasteless soggy muck looked as bad as it tasted in the bin they went.

Ordered online Saturday evening for delivery , could not deliver for whatever reason, 4 days later still have not been refunded. Rang today, to be told the manager has to do it ? Not good enough or acceptable , bad customer care and service.

This pizza was the best pizza I have had in my life. Absolutely show-stopping. Filled a hole I didn’t know I had. I don’t know what magic they’re cooking over there, but keep it coming. 10/10 would feast again

The pizza was banging, top job but the garlic bread was as dry as gandies flip flop, it basically was crust bread, not garlic bread

The most tasty and best texture pizza I’ve ever had. The person who served me made a suggestion to tweak my order: which I did. This gave me more great tasting food for less money.

Service was brilliant and very quick delivery however there was alot of excess base sauce the toppings were slipping off.

Purchased 6 pizza for m dominos in devizes. Very ill with food poisoning. Can absolutely identify that we got this from the meat product that was on our pizza. The manger accepts no responsibility he doesn't care. even though all I wanted to do was make him aware .Please avoid domino pizza devizes they obviously have hygiene issue and the storing of their meat product are not safe.... I can verify everything I state above and can also get the 6 people to also share there experience. I understand mistakes can happen but not accepting responsibility and putting people health at risk is unacceptable. Remember this is a franchise so they don't care about hygiene and their meat products otherwise the manager would have taken this seriously. Anyone else ILL on Saturday 17th june after consuming a pizza for m dominos pizza devizes please contact me.

Had a few deliveries of pizzas that were only half covered in cheese and tomato, my friend asked how could any of the pizzas pass quality checks (half ended up being edible my 5 year old even refused). Credit to them on the first event they gave replacement pizzas, on the 2nd time I didn't want to complain fealt like I couldn't. Maybe devizes domino's does this as they dislike delivering to the villages therefore people dont order again, who knows. Not going to bother again.

Delivered wrong pizza. Offered voucher, but it can only be used over the phone, and cannot use the better (online) deals over the phone, making the order more than if it were online without the voucher, so voucher is useless. Make sure you check your pizza before the driver leaves… Update: contacted feedback URL, as suggested, but they also do nothing to resolve situation; Dominos are quite happy for customers to receive the wrong pizza, and provide zero money back.

Price rises no longer make dominoes a takeaway option. ( unless drunk )

Have now lost my custom for good .. went to order a pizza and says you now need to order £17.99 for delivery that's so much food for one person to have and will be wasted. Was bad enough they added a delivery charge and now its £18 absolutely shocking will now never be ordering a dominos again

Cheese and tomato pizza is great but the pepperoni one sadly over cooked and topping burned so when take a bite topping peels off as one from crust! Sadly for the price I’m very disappointed - haven’t used Domino’s for long time due to price and wasn’t great last time. So I sadly will avoid in future. Add a picture if I could thankfully not wasted as hungry not fussy husband !

Absolutely ridiculous, I just been there I order pizza on the phone they give me someone else pizza when I get home I called them. I told them they have given me wrong pizza so they said to me come back to the shop. We will give you your pizza, so we been give you someone else pizza I told the guy the pizza is cold he said no no no problem it’s not so he refused to give me new pizza. Just give me that cold pizza the one I was ordering one hour ago terrible customer service 🤢

Quick, Hot, yummy, and delivery is always fast, Expensive base prices but there is always some sort of offer to be had 😎

We use domino’s a fair bit..9/10 it’s absolutely banging…. I usually find the ones that take a bit longer in cooking time to be the better… although was disappointed to see a £1:99 delivery charge seeing as they are already high priced if asking to be delivered….. generally speaking we only use if there is a deal… Cheers guys..

Exceedingly meh. A standard Domino's - overpriced and losing its touch. Staff and delivery drivers are excellent though.

On the plus side you know what you're getting - convenient home delivered pizza, sides and drinks in a reasonable timeframe with as little friction as possible. On the down side, cookie cutter catering at inflated prices. Is reheating a supermarket pizza really that difficult?

Always great and very consistent. Everyone in here should get a pay rise!!

EDIT- In reply to your reply all I can say is trying putting in a complaint yourself, it will ask you whether you have contacted the store first. Your complaints system is simply not designed to deal with stores being too lazy to answer the phone, not surprising as it's such an incredibly basic thing for a pizza place. Obviously nobody designing the system expected you to ignore your customers. Your complaining customers are told to contact you, when you not being contactable is the problem. Answer the phone and you won't push your customers to your competitors. Simple. Had a lovely Papa Johns tonight, no issues at all... Ordered a couple of pizzas, on the app it showed it was delivered but it wasn't. Called the store multiple times and they didn't answer. The pizza turned up a while later, they were luke warm, tried calling the store several times again to resolve that and they never answered the phone. So now I'm out of pocket and the pizza was not edible. So hacked off, pathetically bad service. The delivery man was the only good thing, very polite and apologetic for the situation, though it was not his fault.

Just had 2 pizzas from Domino's Devizes and I must say they were the worst pizza I've ever bought. Double peperoni and Texas barbecue. The base was so thin and hard you couldn't chew it and if there was any sauce on it you couldn't taste it. Whish I had bought pizza from lidle as it would have been much tastier. If I had lived closer I would have taken back.

Ordered a couple of pizzas to be delivered by 7pm. I phoned the restaurant about 7.15pm and was told they were on their way with them (Already late) I then phoned them again about 7.35pm to which the person answered and was swearing to someone or something in the background. Very unprofessional. Once the pizzas finally arrived they were warm at best, and nearly an hour late the sauce had split and gone all over the boxes and the boxes were squished which had then in turn stuck to the top of the pizzas. Definitely WON'T be eating here again. Avoid this place like the plague and get yourself to Morrisons decent food, decent staff, great prices.

Absolutely horrendous experience this evening. After receiving my order I noticed my potato wedges were missing, so I attempted to call the store, after continuous ringing I was greeted by the answer phone message. I then attempted to contact the store a further 4 times and on my fifth attempt somebody finally answered the phone. Once I had explained my situation they informed me the wedges would be delivered and told me there was nothing else they could offer me in way of compensation. Disappointing but fair enough. At which point the member of staff I spoke to was particularly rude so I asked for his name, to which he responded "I can't give you that for GDPR reasons" I then politely asked if I could escalate this to a manager. After being told several times that the manager was busy (presumably not wanting to deal with the situation), I was then informed that I had been refunded for the wedges, which at no point had I asked for and up until this point I was still expecting the wedges to be delivered. Once it got to this stage I informed the employee I was happy to hold until the manager was free. At which point the assistant manager came onto the phone and informed me I had been refunded for the order. I again explained that is not what I wanted and asked for her name. She told me she cannot tell me her name for GDPR reasons and then hung up the phone on me while I was mid-sentence. After the way I was treated on the phone and being full of doubt about the refund I supposedly received I decided to attend the store to enquire about obtaining a refund receipt and make a complaint. Upon attending the store I explained the situation and that I had just been hung up on by the assistant manager, at which point the so called "manager" informed me that everyone in the store was an assistant manager and narrowing it down would be an impossibility. As well as this I asked for a receipt of my refund, again the "manager" replied with " I cannot give you a receipt for GDPR reasons" at which point he said "bye bye" and asked a colleague to forcibly escort me out of the store. This did not happen. Absolutely shocking customer service. Will not be ordering again. Would rate 0 stars if I could.

After waiting over an hour it said it was delivered. But it wasn't. Everytime I rang they picked it up & hung up on me. Husband had to go & get it & it was still there. It hadn't even gone out for delivery.When he got there pizzas were all stacked up on the side. To no surprise they were cold! Very disappointed

Was terrible had to wait ages for delivery when they finally arrived the food was barely warm then the pizza was all wrong not what we ordered at all, we tried to ring the store three times on my phone and five times on my partners every time they hung up or toke the phone off the hook I'm so disappointed if I could I wouldn't give it any stars at all what a let down !!!

Fair play - this dominos has vastly improved. We had a bad experience last year. But since then we have had two extremely good take aways that I've come to change my rating from 1 star to 5 star. Fast delivery, hot pizza. Well done

Bad mannered manager argues with customers, products not up the same taste as last year, Internet ordering is flawed for a first time user, will buy from morrisons next time and save £15

I'd never pay the 'full' price but when it's 2 for 1 the price is reasonable. Food is generally very good and hot when delivered.

When 12 are seated and you do not want to cook a great option - delivery is not always on time but usually is worth the wait!

dominoes was always pretty good, last two months i dont know if im just unlucky or its gone down the pot for lack of staff but 2nd time i recieved a cold pizza, that was overcooked gone dry , cooked in 10 mins then 25 mins to go through quality check(this obv doesnt happen) then 25 mins to be delivered. 1hr for a pizza is fine but if u know theres a big delay on delivery dont cook the pizza right away its not rocket science.

We were carrying out an equipment clean very nearby. To make the process more pleasant we sent one fo our team to pick up a few pizzas. They were hot, tasty but my only criticism would be that they were a touch on the dry side. The thing I have found with Dominos is that it seems to be very consistent wherever you go. You know what you are getting and what you get is usually very good.

Every single time I order from here they forget something! I very very rarely order from dominos as they’re useless in Devizes due to the last time being when I received my - thought to be, chicken and bacon with tomatoes base - turning up to be chicken bacon and sweatcorn with a bbq base also forgetting an ice cream. Today they forget a drink I ordered, had long eaten my soon to be cold food before returning back to the door with my drink. If you value your time as I do don’t order from here! You’ll end up 9/10 ringing back up to correct an order after speaking to confused headless chicken staff.

Horrendous experience. Phoned after waiting two hours. Lied to over the phone. The store is in utter chaos and the staff are incapable. Never got our food.

Good pizza. But absolute chaos when you go into store. Loud and un-professional. The people who are on the counter serving really need some training as you have to often remind them that your order is ready-in the meantime your pizza is on the shelf getting cold.

Bought 2 pizza and waited for more that an hour for delivery. Husband went to collect in the end. They forgot to deliver it. Pizza was cold and ingredients were missing. We order quite often, but this time was very disappointed. Couldn't complain about it because it was past the closing time. Have to admit the guy behind the till offered a Coke free for the inconvenience.

Its a Domino Pizza, and a very ordinary one at that. The person that served me was surly and lacking in communication skills, and although I could see my Pizza was ready and had been put in a box, it took a few minutes before the guy could be bothered to hand over to me. There are two small fairly uninviting tables for those who want to eat in, but I decided to take-away. The Pizza was not particularly nice, but as I was hungry I did eat it all and at least it was cheap I won't be going back in a hurry

I ordered 1 large pizza and 1 small for delivery. An hour later, still waiting for them to arrive. Absolutely awful service, hour and a half after ordered finally arrives with no apology. Awful service for overpriced pizza.

Always delivered fast for us and food as expected. Ignore all the whiners who cant even spell...They need more drivers and food may be late at peak times especially if you are more than few miles out of town. Have the oven on standby for a quick grill reheat and presto..pizza.

Terrible. Ordered at 5.15 today only for it to be at my house an hour and a half later. It was only 3 boxes of chicken. Not a 3 course dinner! Suspect something was up with that chicken as I'm currently sitting on the toilet puking into a bucket. Try and avoid, melksham is better!

Ordered £30 of food at 22:15 for me to have to ring up at 23:15 wondering where my food is and there answer was well were busy there's no promises whether my foods getting delivered or not ill have to collect it or get a refund GREAT!!!!! Terrible cold food and terrible service.

ordered last night and Took 1 to 2 hours to turn up and when it came both pizzas were cold and the cookies were horrible so I would not say to anyone to eat here unless I hear that there is big changes made

Got a delivery and the lad didn't have the change (this has happened twice) so he said would go back and get it so we ate the meal and 30mins after rang them no answer from 3 different phones and still no answer!!! The change was £5+ 👎👎 so might have to go down to the store......

The staff are so rude. They swore at me when they messed up my address and went to the wrong house. And yet they called me a liar when I told them I gave them my new address. Disgusting. They seem like the sort of people who would spit on your food just to be spitful. I never been treated so badly before by a place that is suppose to care and respect their customers.

Food delivery was wrong . Rang up and fair enough the lady said we could have a chicken combo on top of the food we was short ....hour and a half later the food still fid not arrive so we cancelled and was fiven a free order ... today i ring up for a pizza and get told buy a very very rude maale manager that i must wait 2 hours untill the member of staff that deakt with it arrives and he will not ring her so it can get dealt with now and is making me wait 2 hours for the staff to arrive and now dont even know of i will get ky free pizza or even my money back for the food i was short

Found thick black fur type hair in pizza managers are useless and don't know how to deal with the situation and couldn't make a choice on what to do in this situation trying to offer the pizza remade eventually got a refund after she had to go and talk to someone else not exactly great management skills

Great customer service during extreme pressure

Order a meal tonight for delivery spent £31.00 and was given the wrong food!!! Took almost 35 minutes to even get through to them to me being told that they are very busy and have no drivers so if i wanted the correct food I would need to wait 1.5 hours or have refund when i next order!!! Absoulutey disgraced!!!! What they should of done was apologised and offered to get the correct food to us asap with the next delivery they were out on!!! Will never order from there again.

We tried to make a larger order, the manager was rude and didn't want to help us. After finally making our order and arranging a time he processed to put us on hold before hanging up. Our movie night was without pizza. Not impressed.

The prices are misleading. Poster on window says ''Buy one get one free six pounds ninety nine with toppings''. I bought two pizzas, One ''Mighty Meaty'' and one 'Pepperoni Passion'' and was charged fifteen pounds. They tasted horrible and were swimming in grease. I'm sure I was ripped off.
