Chicken Land And Pizza in West Dorset

Can’t fault the delivery - quick as a flash. The chicken was decent, but the chips and sides were disappointing. My normal local chicken shop is a Favorite and I usually have their mozzarella & jalapeño poppers which are top notch. The ones here were big and tasteless. If I did use Chickeland again I’d just stick to the chicken .

We placed an online order at 5:45pm and the confirmation email stated it could take up to 90 minutes for delivery. After 90 minutes and no food I called the shop to be told ours was the next order being prepared and received no apology for the delay. In total we waited 2 hours for one pizza and luke warm chicken and chips. Needless to say we will take our custom elsewhere in future.

Waited for a food order for childrens treat for tea, waited 2 hrs.. I called to ask politely if food would be arriving soon… I got a grumpy man who replied.. it’s Saturday night we’re busy what do u expect ! Well I expect someone polite on the end of the phone for starters. I will not be ordering from there again so it won’t be repeated. Only good thing about the whole experience was the lovely sweet delivery man, let’s hope they value him as they sure don’t value their customers.👎👎

We’ll cooked chicken with lovely crispy chips ( generous portions!). Good coleslaw too. The main thing is the staff - always welcoming and smiling despite being really busy most of the time. The pizzas are excellent too.

Online says open but cannot order anything , how can we spend any money with you if you don’t answer the phone

I usually love chickenland however today I ordered a chicken wrap and a garlic bread torpedo of which I thoroughly enjoyed however I also ordered a small portion of cheesey chips which taste no better than they look

Over an hour and a half wait for a shoddy burger and overcooked chips. Absolutely woeful. Won’t be eating here again

when our family wants something “bad” for dinner, we always order here! I can never explain our love for "chicken land" because it is always fatty but tasty, the potatoes are not crispy but tasty, especially with their garlic sauce! and pizza is just lovely! there are not many vegetarian options, but enough for a great lunch / dinner. I take away one point because unfortunately when they put hot stuff in the food delivery containers, the containers MELT!

ordered for delivery, my father took his chicken burger out and cut it in half and pulled a long black hair out, in the middle of a pandemic, hygiene is an absolute joke. DO NOT EAT FROM HERE! makes me sick. if i could give 0 /5 i would. phoned to complain and got told i would get a free burger next time i order so no option to replace it? Dad just gunna starve tonight then. no chance of that.

We have food from here quite often we normally walk there but this time we felt lazy so we rung up and they delivered the food was hot and considering they were so busy they were quick too there food is amazing and there so friendly well done

I always order my pizza from them as they're delicious but tonight I ordered and it's been nearly 2 hours and still no pizza. Very disappointed. Rang at 7pm told me 10 minutes. It's now 7.30 and still no pizza. Last time for me

Ordered a pizza to be delivered to caravan we were staying at whilst on holiday. Arrived on time and was a decent pizza so couldn't complain. Good prices too

I don't mind food being 10-15 mins late due to traffic but when you're staying in a place that's only 6 minutes drive from where they are half an hour is pretty ridiculous I had to ring to ask where it was. I mean a decent call would of been better to let me know it was running late that way would of stopped me waiting half an hour outside in the cold. The driver did eventually ring me saying where he was and all I was trying to tell him was the postcode of where I was. This was so it would help for his satnav and help me locate where he was. But then I get a cocky and arrogant response saying "he hadn't needed a sat nav in 22 years" I checked to see if I'd put the right location which I had and even went the extra mile to go down to the road so he could see me, rather than make it difficult to come into the steep campsite. He then said "you're making this very difficult for me". If I said that as an employee to one of my customers I'd get In a whole ton of trouble. Ok fair enough I'm not a local I can't give exact details to where I am other than the postcode and the name of the campsite I'm at which I did. But I figured if you hadn't needed a sat nav in 22 years and you only work 6 minute drive from the location you'd know where to go and not accuse the customer of being the difficult one. Thing is I still would of let that slide and wouldn't of had an issue or bothered complaining I just think as a tour guide myself I don't go telling my customers that I know better than them and I don't need their help etc it's just unprofessional and rude. The food was hitting just about adequate. Pricing is good though so I guess you get what you pay for.

Had a delivery to the park dean site. Food came quick and was delicious! Chicken burger.. southern fried chicken and pizzas. Was so very nice

Food was delivered so fast and it was so hot and nice. The family all loved it and we will deffo be ordering again for sure

Friendly staff and good takeaway food. When you can’t be bothered to cook these guys are a great option, and they deliver! Good value for money too

Always good value for pizza - the garlic bread torpedoes are lovely. Food is freshly cooked and reasonably priced. Great comfort food option.

Definitely would not recommend chicken land in bridport absolutely rubbish service took over a hour for food to arrive the food was only warm and the chips was cold the buns was toasted but dry and not edible. This is not the firs time with a problem but definitely the last time as I will not waste my money again.

Rude staff!! order completely wrong! Gave us pink chicken and over charged with missing food. Disgusting place. DO NOT GO UNLESS YOU WANT FOOD POISONING

Have only had chicken thighs and pizza from here but always great. Food is prepared to order so is always hot and tasty.

Visited Chicken and Pizza land quite a few times in the last few years, its just missing the old pizza deals as they were really good value! Its still a decent take away if you fancy the odd sober kebab or pizza of an evening, friendly staff and quite prompt delivery if you fancy it.

We have been going here for years, and we've never had a meal that has been less than good. It's always piping hot, freshly cooked and the order is always correct. We usually just go in and get it but we tried the delivery recently - we didn't even think we'd be eligible as we live out of town but to our surprise they delivered to our home within half an hour and still boiling hot. Love the chicken wraps, the Greek salad, the pizza, the pasta... in fact we love it all! If you want a Friday night treat, get this! Thank you ChickenLand.

Amazing food, guys are great and good prices! Definitely recommended! The chicken burger is to die for. And the cheese chips are perfect

Big fan of chicken land, don't listen to poor reviews I have been eating chicken land's food for years and have never had any problems. Also the blokes that work there are absolute hero's Highly recommend!

I feel like I have become a pizza addict! It's just to good to miss although the delivery time may vary it may just because my house isn't the easiest to find. Over all a great take away for a great night in.

El chico en el teléfono bastante gracioso porque se hicieron tanto si la pizza grande y pequeña. Tuve 3 exigente exigentes que sólo comer margrets. Cuando una pequeña magerita aparezca y una pizza grande de Vegy. La gente pasa hambre. Así que les pedí que rectificar su error. Cuando la margarita grande FINALMENTE presentamos el chico de entrega no dejar sin el pago completo de la sustitución. Tienen un monopolio sobre las entregas de Bridport, así que pueden molestar a intentar cualquier servicio al cliente.

Way better than Pizza hut and dominos. Generous portions, value for money and a nice family run business, that are friendly and deliver as well (not many places deliver in Bridport). What more could you want for a Saturday night take-away?!
