Domino's Pizza in West Dorset

Good pizzas but the staff are questionable. Chips was almost still frozen my child wasn't happy did ring up and they said that's how they are.

Very hit and miss, I have had great pizza from here but sometimes it looks like Stevie Wonder made it and then kicked it to my house

Generally had pretty good experiences with Dorchester Domino's, delivery has been off timings but the food is normally pretty good. Pricing is ridiculous unless you have a special offer.

Affordable... Tasty.... Don't expect more... Once you are there, you will know it.

Pizza is always good when we get it. They need to answer the phone, and keep customers updates, last time I called to check on it tho, The man was really nice and was very understanding, A+ For him

trying to call to change the delivery address but after 20 times calling not answered once! shocking!

Good pizza but a little slow to come out

So the age of connivence food is over after attempting to pre-order food as time was short & hoping to collect on the way home. Was immediately dismissed & told you must order in store & wait to be cooked. Sorry son no over priced treat tonight & we reverted back to an independent service.

Ordered by phone as not everyone has access to the Internet still. Woman on phone said they were busy so to call back later! Called back later & ordered a large cheeseburger pizza. Pizza delivered within 40 minutes - but it was just plain cheese! Called & explained but the woman said that was what was ordered, but as explained it was stated 3 times that the order was for a large cheeseburger pizza! It would really help if the people on the phone could understand what was being said to avoid incorrect orders!

Really good, have used this Dominoes regularly for years and never had a substandard pizza. Parking not always easy tho.

Parking is tough but easy to get into the restaurant with wheel chair access. Pre ordered our pizza, and they were cooked, ready to collect at the agreed time. Nice flavour and fair price

Me and my partner live in waterston farm. We just had a driver come all the way out here in the rain, floods soaking wet. This is one of the three places that deliver here and the only decent one! Lovely driver absolutely amazing

Ordered valentines, food came wrong and cold. They offered a £25 voucher, we call up tonight to be told ‘by the way its a 2 hour wait’, manager barely spoke English and had no idea what we were ordering, told us the one we wanted to order online was cheaper than if we rang up, told us we couldn’t use our voucher online. Manager was so rude it was unreal and wouldn’t let us speak to someone else. We’ll see if we even get our food in the end.

had delivery as usual , and the cookies were burnt . . shocking how they would send these out . . especially since so expensive even if weren't burnt . .

Only order if you want to wait over 2 hours for a cold pizza to be delivered and then have the joy of experiencing the worst customer service ever. Excellent at being rude, abrupt and unhelpful. Very poor at managing what is after all a 3 step process....receive order, cook pizza, deliver. Not sure how they continue to operate with the amount of refunds they are giving. @Dominos Please stop posting your meaningless replies using cut and pasted wording. I have already contacted customer support and the service was just as appaling as the Dorchester store.

If I could I would give this place no stars I would. Absolutely diabolical!!! Ordered a pizza for delivery , 1 hour & half later still no pizza. I rang the store & the gentleman couldn’t even find our order after telling him our address he just wasn’t listening & keep giving out all these different addresses. Finally found our order & got all confused and said it would be another hour , which by this point I was fuming. Then he said it will be delivered shortly. Food was ok , warm not hot !!! Dreadful service. I’m surprised they are still in buisness as they don’t deserve to be.

Avoid Terrible customer service. One star is too many. No pizza delivered after an hour, called them, told me it would be another hour and a half. Seems common for this store. Poor management Feel sorry for the delivery drivers as they probably have to listen to the complaints from the dissatisfied customers.

Shocking and disgusting service. Ordered via the app with a 40 min time after waiting 2 hours managed to finally get through to them to be told it would be a further 1.5 hour wait!! Fuming and with 2 young children this is beyond poor service!! And then to top it off told it would take 5-7 working days to get a refund for nearly £50!! Do not use these poor excuse of a takeaway

The app said it would take 40 minutes, phoned up after over an hour as the pizza tracker showed it as still on prep, they told me it would be another hour and a half. They claimed to be busy but not really an excuse when the app clearly estimates a time for you, alsontook me about 6 goes tonget through phoning them. Have ordered a few times from here but won't be doing so again.

Dint even bother. Ordered food, turned up stone cold. Asked for refund, they said they were processing it. 3 weeks later still no refund so told them to just re send the order that arrived cold. They send the wrong order, with things I'm allergic to on the pizza. Called to tell them and I'm now being told that the pizza they sent is the pizza I ordered, which it certainly isn't and have the order confirmation to prove so. Person on the phone doesn't listen, refuses to let you talk. Avoid at all costs. Pathetic doesn't begin to describe their service! Absolutely appalled with the way they speak to their paying customers

Utter sh*t!!! Online we were told 30 mins delivery time. 1.5 hours later, we phoned, was on hold for 6 minutes, to be told that they are running late….. we gave our address and postcode 4 times, still told that they are running late….apparently got to wait for another 25 minutes. Basically 2 hours for a pizza!

Large 1 topping is £6! Underatted by snobs. Great business model.

Dunno what the pizza is like yet. I’m waiting for it. The staff are right potty-mouths though. Full of cussin’ around my pizza as it cooks?!?! Dominos is great quality here and I highly recommend it if you're looking for something hot to grab on the way home or have delivered. Personally I fall outside of the delivery area but i do go in to collect with a taxi on the way home before

The cheese pizza we ordered was cremated, we payed for extra cheese and there was barely 1 portion and it was so dry and hard that it was completely inedible and the whole thing went in the bin. The pizza was for my toddler and I and he was so excited for dinner, however he ended up sobbed through his cheese sandwich since the pizza was unpalatable.

Great food as always. No seating had to take away. But it was still good food.

Burned and charred pizza, have loads of pizzas over the years from them but this was just awful. The fact the guy who made it thought it was ok to serve speaks volumes about the minimum wage staff they have who simply don't care about what they are making. Yes just a pizza but I don't eat out that often and was actually really looking forward to it. First time to their Dorchester branch and the absolute last. If you don't like your job... Find another one!

Enjoy the odd pizza from this place. Atmosphere in a take out place is what you'd expect. You'd hardly go here specially for the atmosphere.

By far the most unfriendly Dominoes Pizza take out I've ever been too. Food was cold and so was the staffs attitude and friendliness.

Useless lots here, they didn't even greet or even considered I'm there although I made eye contact with both the employees there they continued to do their stuff and I waited there for them to take my order even after 5 minutes that didn't happen and had to leave the store,such a disgrace would never consider these racists for food, Manager check your camera 26 aug 20:10 to 20:20 and train your staff properly

Always hit and miss in this place. Sometimes its OK. Others appauling. Most recent experience fell short once again. My pizza was really thick (obnormally so) to the point the dough looked raw inside. I returned and questioned explaining being pregnant I cannot afford to risk eating raw foods. Member of staff clearly disinterested in helping despite being my particularly polite and discrete manner but eventually offered to remake. Waited 20mins for my husband and I's pizza only to be given a replacement of just my own and my husbands raw, and now cold, pizza returned. Being embarrassed to return and complain again we left. My husband threw his in the bin and brought some chips down the road on the way home. I ate mine which was much like every other pizza I normally have from there. OK and atleast edible.

We went to this outlet as we were too tired of sightseeing. This was the only place that was open until 10pm. The staff were kind and offered that gave some discount on price. The pizza was delicious... But this has only take away... There is no dine in.

Pretty convenient placement, and it's open until 22:45! Very convenient, very fast and always a good deal to get me over to order something, and with a 2 topping medium pizza for £5.99 I couldn't say no tonight!

No tissues, No Ketchup, No proper greetings to the customer who comes in. Only thing I liked is their fast service where I couldn't get in other dominos

I visited the Dominos Dorchester store a couple of weeks ago and tried to ask what deals were on to which I got an extremely rude response from a worker called Lee I believe who was so unhelpful and quite frankly just rude and entitled, the manager then came over and I asked why I was getting such a rude service to such a simple question to which the manager seemed to not care at all and was impatient and again just very rude. I was very shocked as the last time I came into this store probably 10 months ago the staff were very pleasant and helpful so very shocked to be spoken to the way I was.

Placed my order at 7.10pm, still waiting for delivery at 9pm. This is somehow my fault as their computer system only prints out part of my address.

Staff had no idea about their products.. We phoned asking about the lunch menu special and were told we had to order instore not over the phone.. we drove from Bovington to Dorchester only to then be told they didn't have the lunchtime offer that we had asked for !!.. grrrrr.. not impressed 😕..

1. I waited for nearly two hours to get delivered. 2. Without letting know by phone or ringing the bell of home or sending a message or an email, the food were left outside in the cold. 3. Not all the items paid were delivered. There was no hot wing chicken nor extra garlic dip. 4. I had to have icy cold pizza and chicken strippers at 9:30pm although I ordered at 7:30pm. Summary- my experience today 12/05/21 is horrible experience ever in Dorchester dominos !! If I could give rating worse than 1, I would choose that one!

What can I say.....terrible service, 45 minutes late delivery for it only to sent cold, manager when we asked for it to be sorted told us that he had 8 other deliveries that would come before us(not willing to sort a complaint out first) all I can say I will go back to snappy pizza. We were also told that take away is different to a catering industry so it must be ok to pay a lot for cold food. Think domino’s need to look at customer service and give the manager further training

Ordered from dominos in January, I had to call the store as my garlc bread was missing, the manager I spoke to called Martin I think was so unhelpful and rude. He needs some more training.

I have purchased form many Domino's branches across the country and I'm so glad this is my local. We live in the middle of nowhere and the food is always hot, Drivers are friendly and efficient. Deserve a lot more than their current rating - they really are a great bunch, keeping up 5* service throughout the pandemic. If you find Domino's pricey - always check the deals section. We never pay full price and think £30 for dinner for 2 with tonnes of leftovers is good value.

no stars I recently ordered pizza etc from this outlet as I had several times before however when the delivery driver arrived they refused to bring the items to my flat I live in a new block of 63 flats and have never had any delivery driver refusing to deliver to my door. I rand the outlet and was informed the driver was correct and following covid rules I find this very hard to understand as all the other takeaway drivers have entered the building and a couple of weeks before dominos had delivered to my door. I am a disabled man of 74 and when spoke to the franchise owner he apologiised and refunded my money but my beef with them is that I placed an order with them a couple of weeks after this only to be informed that because I had made a nuisance of myself that I was now blacklisted!!!!!!!!!!

On the expensive side, but worth it every now and then as the food is always amazing and rich. Value for money is better if you have their coupons, but good for a celebration or when someone else offers to pay ;)

Partner working here denied to leave at 6pm after working from 9am. He was ment to have conciling for our son we lost then told he had to work till rota said well she was laughing at him and was then told at 8pm still not aload to leave the manger is a joke and all staff leave becuse of her she says ok to things then denys saying it, she aproves holidays then takes them back saying her desions over rides it. Ment to be flexible hours but its a joke my partner has no problem in working long days but to be denyed conciling is out of order to be denyed family ocasions is out of order the manger needs to go every one works better and things get done when she not there sat in her office on her phone on dating sites. WOW!!!!! What a change in just a week of the manger leaving. My partner is being listen to and his views are being took in to consideration. The new person in charge is doing a amazing job of turning the dorchester store around, making sure staff are getting the training and things can only get better from now on well done dominos it may take a few weeks to get there fully but after only 1 week can already see how much it has improved with the right person in charge 😁😁

Last order arrived cold, had the wrong toppings and took over an hour to arrive. We rang once to find out where it was and was told there was an error but it would be with us soon. Once received we had to call again to complain. After the bored and somewhat argumentative man on the phone told us we were only entitled to a credit or another hour and a half pizza we asked for a refund as we'd have to replace the pizzas with something else. We were then told we'd have a refund the next day when the manager was in... but this never happened. Emailed dominos and they passed me back to the store. Ridiculous as I keep missing the manager due to working away and only able to call at unsocial hours. This obviously isn't their fault but the guy I I through to today was rude and refused to take a message. Overall we don't feel like valued customers, we feel like we've had to jump through hoops to resolve all of their mistakes! Despite using them regularly in the past we wont be again from now on. Reading google reviews as well as others on here I would steer clear, theres obviously major issues to at least this branch but maybe the company aswell.

When we eventually got through the response was not apologetic, they said they were busy.... I had to ask for a refund which will apparently take 5 working days. Normally really pleased with their service and love the pizzas. Saying that we always collect rather than wait 40 minutes for a delivery however have been very disappointed today. Find it incredulous that a pizza takeaway / delivery service would not prepare for a high turn over on a Friday night in January. 7.30pm on Friday to be told there is a 2 hour waiting time!! That's just ridiculous for a fast food restaurant chain!

It's a pizza takeaway with generic facilities. Looked clean and tidy and service was pleasant. Car parking is limited and during busy times can get quite congested. Food was good quality and will probably return in the future.

I ordered pizzas for delivery and after waiting the best part of an hour, they ring to say delivery will be at least another hour, and could I come out in a storm to collect myself, but they would put £20 on my account. When I got there I was given the wrong order, and had to tell them again what I ordered. Two weeks later I rang up to order and the guy who anwered the phone rudely just told me to wait every time I started talking, and when I asked about the £20 he said there was nothing there. I didn't make an order, and probably won't again. We ordered regularly until today, they just lost a customer.

Literally the rudest staff. I was shouted at for asking for a discount that I was entitled to and told that in order to get it I have to phone in advance because she can't change the price later. Which is a lie anyway because if you order and then collect the price changes to buy one get one free. She said that it's clearly stated on their website that you need to phone, again wrong, not on the website at all. She then huffed and gave me the discount but not correctly so it was £5 more expensive than it should have been which I didn't argue about because I didn't want to get shouted at again.

Ordered for my kids it turned up 1 hour after placing the order food was cold and when I phoned to complain I got shouted at by the manager so phoned head office We need a Pizza Hut in Dorchester 🍕🍕

Ordered food online, my food turned up and it was the wrong order, tried to call the store which took 20minutes to get through.. to be told that if I wanted my food I have to wait over an hour baring in mind id already waited 45 minutes for my original order!

Moved here from Weymouth and always enjoyed a nice hot pizza as a treat when our money came in at 12. This one closes to early. I ordered from there a few times and I have received a cold pizza about an hour after it had meant to get to us, with the wrong base. Miss Weymouth.. hate this dominos makes me not want to get from here.

Waited 1.75 hours for cold pizza. They were extremely busy with IT issues. Pizzas got missed. I think some one high up the food chain(ha ha) should help with the problem. The manager on duty was very helpful I would like to add. Time and demand was against them this evening. Hope it will be a one off.

Not good. Took 1hr 40mins to arrive and then it arrived cold. Tried calling to find out what was going on and there was no one to answer the phones. Wouldn't order from here again.

At first I was pretty annoyed, staff were overrun and it took 4 hours for me to get my order, 2 of those hours were spent in store. But, the customer service from Mark and Ethan were excellent, there was two other employees who's name I couldn't grab but everyone there did everything they could to help me and get my order amongst all of the chaos. Yes the 4 hour wait was ridiculous but I cannot deny that the customer service I received from everyone was amazing, I'd like to thank them for being understanding and trying to sort out my order. I wish I could retract my previous ratings on the app, their situation was incredibly difficult to handle and they absolutely deserve praise on how they handled it, even if it took a long time 😅 I just hope this sort of mistake doesn't happen again and that they can keep ontop of their orders in the future.

I just want to say thank you after a stressful day at work I ordered dominoes for tea so I didn't have to cook. I then placed my order online and accidently used the auto fill form and placed order to my partners address instead of mine . I had two missed phone calls and wasnt until Inchecked my order reference in my email that I realised my mistake above ! I phoned back apologetically and they redid my order for me and sent it to correct address and didn't wait too long either so, Thank you !

I wouldnt even bother giving them one star but i had no choice. I have ordered loads of times from here and i am always waiting hours for delivery. I ordered online at 9.50pm its now 11.30pm and still not delivered. I have tried to phone no answer. I will never order dominos ever again after this waste of time and money

It's a cozy little Snack fast food bar offering food orientated from Pasta products along with most bottled drinks (non-alcoholic) but no hot drinks. I am not sure about mobile signals and I have a feeling there Is no internet access either/ Joseph - M !!

Last 2 times it's taken over an hour for delivery. In fact last time we had to go there ourselves to pick it up as there was only 1 delivery driver doing everything!
