Pizza Express in West Dorset

Love this pizza hut, not sure about the others since I haven't been but this pizza hut in Dorchester is excellent. Staff are incredibly nice and welcoming. Prices are great. Love it all, and the architecture is really nice. Really modern yet reminds me of an old diner. Love it.

Its your regular pizza restaurant. This establishment is clean, tidy and has a great team of staff serving. The food quality is good and service is efficient. If its a cold or windy outside, it can be quite cool and draughty inside though. When reserving a table, request one away from the two doors unless you don't mind an arctic blast while you eat.

Great service from Suzy! Nice relaxed atmosphere and good pizza. Pasta options are all gluten free.

So after an issue with my Deliveroo who after 1 hr couldn’t deliver .. The manager John called me and he delivered my food to me . He is an asset to Dorchester branch and I look forward to dining In soon

It’s like all the other Pizza Expresses but I like this one the best as it’s near my house.

I am very impressed with the service at Dorchester. The pizzas and deserts were excellent. The lasagne was a bit bland, apparently, but overall, it was very good.

We were on holiday when we visited. The place was very quiet but still the service was rather slow. The food was average as were the prices.

The cubana pizza is the best I've ever eaten, great place, staff and food.

They never disappoint us to cater to my son's food allergies. He can eat safely and food is yummy. Amazing service as usual :)

Can't really give a revue as such, "we dont' live at our address" and our "address does not exist" and "making it up address is not there", as we will not be getting any food from these people tonight as they refuse to supply, so, we shall go out of our imaginary house and along the imaginary road to an eatery that does want our money that is not imaginary.

We had a great meal here! The pizzas were lovely and fresh and the service was great. Because we all had the app we enjoyed sides and desserts for free and half price pizzas!! Perfect! Well worth getting the app!

Excellent service Friendly atmosphere

Food and service was great until we got the bill. 4 pizzas, 2 salads, 1 side and 4 drinks came to £110. We tried to download the app and register to get the discounts but that didn't work even though the card on the table was promoting it. I tried at home and it still doesn't work. If we applied the correct vouchers, selected complimentary dough balls, etc then we could have saved a lot. The staff were kind, patient and eventually gave us a small discount but not enough to go back. For a single person wanting pizza, side or starter, plus drink, expect to spend almost £30 without vouchers. For a family of 5, it easily comes to over £100. One of the kids kicked off so dampened the evening, then the bill was the kick in the balls. In hindsight, should have just opted for takeaway and paid less than half. Recommend getting your vouchers sorted up front and be mindful that a discount voucher for a classic pizza is only applicable to one, so you need to get everyone to register on multiple phones. Doesn't really work for families.

Great service, lovely food unfortunately an alarm next door was going off so hence 4stars due to the noise.

Nice pizza quite lightweight had vegan padana only critique would be the caramelised onions ... there were too many making it a bit too sweet and lightweight on vegan cheese. Takeaway was delivered quickly.

Huge thank you to John, Aliena and the team for a perfect mother's day lunch yesterday! Even though it was super busy, the service and quality of food was excellent, 10/10! John was so thoughtful and looked after everyone on our table of 9, even crouching down to the kids level to help them choose their food, so kind! We'll be back soon!

Haven't been to PE for a few years. Last night the service and food was excellent.

This Pizza Express is located adjacent to Brewery Square in Dorchester. There is a large public car park on the opposite side of the road so parking is easy. Food was up to usual Pizza Express standards and the service was excellent. Nice decor and plenty of tables. Good experience.

Came in on 22.12 for a meal experienced great food, polite and friendly service. All good came promptly, all in all a positive dining experience.

It's Pizza Express, what can I say? The menu is good, the pizza OK (not as amazing as they used to be), but the service not so special. This branch was no different, so yes I'm glad we went and I will end up going back, but..... And finally, because I often do, something that makes me smile. This is not about the place I'm reviewing! WHAT PERSON DOESN’T LIKE PIZZA? A weirdough. How I Mark I may mark differently to some other reviewers, some might see this as harsh, others may see it as fair. But here's how I look at it: 5 star - WOW. I want to go back and look forward to doing so. They delivered everything expected and more. The 'more; is normally about the service or attitude of the staff. 4 star - GOOD. They delivered everything I wanted and a bit more. I recommend them and would go back. 3 star - OK. They delivered what I expected, I would go back if I needed to, although don't currently plan on doing so. 2 star - Not very good. I didn't get what I expected and the service wasn't good. I don't recommend this place. I might get dragged back here, although will always try to avoid it 1 star - This was rubbish. Don't go there, I certainly won't go there again. I didn't get what I wanted, the people were unhelpful and I didn't enjoy it in any way.

Not been before, dropped in on off chance with my granddaughter. We were very impressed. Lovely friendly restaurant. Veronica our waitress was extremely good at her job. Couldn’t fault the food. Would highly recommend.

Usual high standard from this brand but the service was excellent we would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely starters, mains and puddings. The staff were helpful, speedy and friendly. Couldn’t ask for any more and the price is good too. 5 stars.

Me and my partner ate here for the first time this evening, we had the chicken wings for starters , (very tasty and hot) I especially liked the sauce that came with them, my partner had the carbonara for mains and I had an American pizza , both were delicious, we then had tiramisu and sticky toffee pudding for dessert, which finished our lovely meal out , big thanks to Veronica who was our waitress we will definitely be returning.

Relaxed Sunday evening dinner! Great food, and generous portions! Childrens menu had plenty of choice too! Service was great, Veronica was very attentive and friendly (as were all of the staff) We will definitely be back!

Lovely service, delicious pizza

I've been to Pizza Express many times before but never in Dorchester! I do have some dietary needs but I needn't had worried as can be seen below. I was there with my brother and daughter, and we probably stayed a bit too long! But then they did give us an awful lot to eat! I had chicken that was moist, very tasty and beautifully cooked with mixed green salad which was like it had been freshly picked, washed and put on the plate. It should have been Chicken Caesar salad but without all the added stuff. Well, I think I got the better deal! My guests got desserts too but I just settled for earl grey tea and and evening well spent!

Small restaurant, friendly staff, and great vegan options added since we last visited a PE. Disappointed to learn that they take 50% of the tip if you tip on card so PLEASE try to take cash if you can!!! I presume all PEs do this and I wasn't aware beforehand so we ran to the cash machine round the corner as I'll be damned if I let a big restaurant chain take half the tips when it's the serving staff who do the hard graft!!!! The cash machine charges £1 FYI so come prepared with tip cash, the staff deserve it.

Food was good, king prawn starter had tiny prawns though. Service was also good

Came for lunch on a Tuesday 2 adults and a 10 year old. We had dough ball starters then 3 different pizzas, all arrived quickly and we're excellent. Staff very good

Fantastic service from Katie our waitress. Food was excellent and a good selection of drinks. The cocktails were tasty too. Had a great night out with friends here and can't recommend it highly enough to everyone. The air-conditioned restaurant made all the difference in this hot weather too. You won't be disappointed. Will be back very soon!

Hmmm the quality is dropping my favourite sloppy guisseppe was low on topping and flavour. A shame because pre-Covid it was one of our favourite impulse eats. Expensive for what we had. That said they were happy to still do my partners egg I the middle. Do I will ho again to confirm...perhaps just bad day.

Incredibly friendly and attentive staff. We dropped in as a family of 3 on a whim and every effort was made to seat us, despite the restaurant being very busy at the time. Food was very good, as was the service. Overall great experience.

Good service and excellent food

I dont want to knock Pizza Express too much as we were in a rush, and it might have been a bad day for staff, but on this particular visit the serving staff were not very attentive or quick and the restaurant was only half full. We asked for the bill 3 times and it still didn't arrive. It too so long I had enough time to download the app, sign up, enter my card details and pay! Please read on... for the good bits though! The chefs were on top form! The food was delicious! The kids meals, adults pizza and calzone although slow to arrive all tasted great. Which made up for much of the waiting. 😊

Pizza Express was very convenient with a large (for fee) parking lot across street, Odeon next door, and other places nearby. It was the typical Pizza Express food (which I love), great service, and clean restaurant and toilets, so zero complaints.

Just had a really great meal at Pizza Express Brewery Square Dorchester 🍕🍝🍧 A very busy Saturday evening but still the food was excellent - fast service, hot and plentiful! (But still room for a lovely pudding 😉) All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Fast and efficient service with a smile. We all staggered home full to the brim and looking forward to our next visit.

Food was delicious but the meal was let down by very slow service.

Just had a great meal at PE brewery square today 2/4/22. 1pm table 28. Evie the waitress was amazing. We mucked her about ( she cleared three tables for us!) but she dealt with it all effortlessly and with a huge smile. Great job Evie.

Always get a good experience at Pizza express and this was no different. Attentive service, food was good and swift. To be fair was very quiet at time of visit. Modern interior within nice overall area of an old brewery redone as leisure outlet. I'd say there was a way to go as mainly restaurants and not many shops at present. Overall good experience.

Nice meal with the family, great service and lots of choices for vegans. The manageress helped us to download the App, first time when you join the club you get free dough balls so of course we went for it! We definitely will come back. Meal good as usual. What you expect. Staff always friendly. Decaf coffee tasteless. Dont have it if you want ot to taste of coffee.
