Empire Kebab and Pizza Time in West Dorset

Delivery. Epic! The food was hot and the chicken was moist and juicy on the inside and beautifully charred on the outside.....so good! Also the salad was really fresh

We've ordered takeaway regularly from Empire since we moved to the Dorchester area 8 months ago. They have never disappointed. The food quality is good, well cooked and very tasty, and delivery is fairly priced and quick. Staff are always friendly when we collect. Well and truly a firm favourite.

Omg , not been to this place for a long time . . thought would give it another try . . Did say i was going to review them . Was awful xhicken v salty undercooked and v expensive. . Even a pound charge delivery . . Be sticking to my regular

Having moved to the area recently I decided to find a new local kebab shop to use, after trying two others which I wasn’t impressed with that had better reviews one which gave me chicken that was pink in the middle… I though I would give empire a go, to be honest I don’t expect much from a kebab but it arrived on time to Crossways the order was correct and what I had was very nice, the portion sizes were also very good. I opted for a large chicken shish and large cheesy chips and it was enough for 2 people so I made two meals out of it. I think £25 for two meals delivered is very reasonable as it works out £10 per person. Would recommend and be using this shop from now on. All ill say is reviews aren't everything try it for yourself.

RUSHED SERVICE AND NOT ALWAYS THEIR BEST QUALITY OF FOOD.

Stop here on the way home one night. Done that twice now. The Empire Full house special kebab is excellent. Good quality at good prices. Next time I am passing I will pop back in.

Been going here with my boyfriend probably once a week for the past i don't know, 6 months or so? Always an amazing time, very friendly staff, absolutely AMAZING food. And also the best garlic Mayo in the whole world, I always grab a good few pots of it😂. Overall, amazing place, always recommend to anyone I speak to. GET FOOD FROM EMPIRE!!!

Had a delivery for first time. 2 x half pound cheese burger & chips, outstanding! Great quick service...

Chef prepared the kebab well.. but cop shish lamb meat was poorly prepared. Too much fat. I had to spit out several pieces. Boss needs to address their quality control.

The most disgusting food I think I have ever eaten! what a mess. Chips we about 4 days old...literally. Salad was just a small bowl of lettuce. Kebab was okay, but everything else put us off. In the bin. never ever again. (we only live 5 minutes away so cold horrible food is no excuse)

The best kebab that I’ve ever had in my entire life. The staff are very friendly and are happy to adjust the menu to cater for your preferences. 10/10 recommend, you and your tastebuds will not regret it.

A medicinal kebab that follows a belly full of beer is generally the rule. The pictures of the menu available here are far from the actual product, but it tastes pretty damn good. I dont think taste is the priority when choosing a local kebab shop, its the location that is key. If you pass a kabab shop on your way home from a night out, you inevitably buy one. This is a long standing takeaway and proves very popular at weekends.

I ordered a kebab for my partner and myself my step son from this place 2 days ago and as you can see from the pictures they delivered this and I rang them up and they replaced it for another portion but what an absolute joke

Lamb shish kebab was DEVINE and the workers were very friendly. This is clearly a very popular shop and now I see why. Cheese pizza was the best cheese pizza I have had in the UK. 5/5. Allowed us to try some doner kebab as well.

Absolutely superb kebab shop I choose this place all the time every time lovely staff the food is excellent never had a messed up order and if I've had it delivered its always been piping hot and on time (usually earlier than what they actually say) very pleasant experience indeed 😀

Good food but prioritises regulars when ordering in store does a lot of pizza deals but no kebab deals so a large kebab and chips ends up costing £12

I’ve never eaten so delicious mixed kebab with yogurt and home made souse, fresh salad and bread, the large portion is really really huge, me and my children couldn’t eat it all in one go

I had a X large Donner! £10.50. Prices gone up twice in a matter of weeks! Normally a good kebab, this one was chewy and like last nights meat that's warmed up plus the portion was not the worth the money!

I don't exactly have high standards for kebabs but there are better kebab places around Dorchester than Empire. The doner kebab was a little overcooked in places and their home-made chilli sauce (the make or break it component) was watery and overly-tomato based to be a nice sauce.

I have never ever seen a doner kabab done this way before! It has always been: the pitta bread is toasted then cut open like an envelope. then your salad is added, then your meat and finally your sauce. I have never seen it with the salad in the tray, toasted pitta bread then the meat put on top of the pitta bread. What's that all about? And then I asked for garlic sauce and they put chilli sauce on which it looked more like a dried paste than a sauce! These customers that give them 5 stars were either drunk when they ordered food or have no taste buds........5 stars - oh come on!!!!! Okay, we're from out of town but dont con us when it come's to food. £12 for two donors that ended up in the bin!

Got the order wrong and then when my partner called up to explain she was spoken to rudely and hung up on with no resolution to the problem. Driver was kind, but phones service is awful.

Lovely staff, quick service and lush food! Ordered a chicken burger and a few other bits on a Saturday night and they managed to get it to me within half an hour! Would definitely recommend to anyone. Will be returning soon:)

The food here is so yummy!!! I usually hate any pizza other than dominos but now after trying them from here, I have a new favourite!! The chicken tastes like kfc and the cheesy chips are covered in cheese !! You really get a great amount of food for the money!!!! The pizzas are piled with toppings more than anywhere else I’ve seen and they are half the price of them!! Really great kebabs too my partner had one and was thoroughly impressed. Happy faces all round. Please don’t change a thing :)

Pure filth, in the best possible way. Great late night takeaway. Good food, fair prices. They're a kebab house, and that's all great, but the real star of the show is the triple burger with cheese. It's *awesome*. Tastes *so* good. I know it's terrible for me, but I need it in my life. Bought one this evening before getting a taxi back to Broadmayne and, if I weren't over the drink drive limit I'd be heading back into town to get another one. Genuinely fantastic. Been going here off and on for getting on 25 years; never been disappointed.

I came in late last night and all was well, the staff were working hard, keeping other customers as well as myself happy with light conversation then all of a sudden the man who I assume to be the boss comes in and starts ranting and raving at one of the workers. The worker tries to say something but the boss man keeps shouting, going back to the kitchen for a second then coming back to shout more. They were speaking in a language I couldn't understand but the boss clearly was not shouting to solve a situation but more so to big up his own ego. Very unpleasant man I feel sorry for the workers. My doner was delicious the food is wonderful but the boss man really put s downer on the night, the man needs to control his anger in a professional working environment.

0 stars if it was possible, rude service and horrible food, make sure to order quickly or take the constant sighs, chicken nuggets were under cooked and cheap stringy meat in the kebab, all who ate had bad tummys the next day, I wouldn't go back if you payed me to!

Stopped in after a late finish. Had the 1/2 pounder and chips. It was delicious, tasty burger, fresh salad and even the chips were good.

Been going for nearly 5years, only a couple of minor errors in that time, always freshly cooked though, which is the most important thing.

Get a kebab wrap. Pizza is all ways good

Great place food is amazing, Staff really nice people, if your hungry try an empire special I doubt you would finish it. Perfect to share when extra pitas ordered. Food is constantly good and arrives hot.

I regularly get their food delivered to us. On the whole, it's pretty good, doesn't take long. There has been a few occasions of forgetting things or the chips all being cold. In those cases I have rang and they've sent out missing or replacement items immediately. The guy who runs it is a nice bloke.

Had a chicken shish with some lamb doner and salad last night plus chips food was excellent taste etc staff all good !! The best kebab outside London and I’ve had quite a few !!

Ordered a extra large and large donor. Had to wait a while and did one donor 5 minutes before the other so one of the donors was getting cold. When waiting for the Kabab one of the workers dropped a chilli onto the tray that had raw food on and then put it into someone's order. The extra large donor had chewy donor and the large donor had 2 pieces of chicken in the meat. Overall I would NEVER go in there again.

Great food and friendly staff. Went here at around 11pm, needing something to eat, had a burger and chips and while ordering we had a great conversation. I have to say that the chips we received are possibly the nicest I've ever tasted! There's fries, but not too dry and thin. Delicious! The burger was grilled to perfection! And the price was reasonable, around £4 for a decent sized meal. And the cans of Fanta and Coke are 80p. All in all I'd definitely recommend this Kebab takeaway!
