Review by JON table for 4 people,6pm ,,,,,,i read a few bad reviews so i decided to go there anyway and see for myself, first of all the staff are very friendly and attentive the restaurant was very clean and also very clean toilets. There is a great selection of Chinese and Indian food all nicely prepared , cooked and regularly topped up, so no missing out on your favourite things, even the owner came to the table and served desserts straight from the kitchen, it is value for money and we will go back for sure, we couldn't find any faults what so ever happy days.

We found this restaurant in the Gatwick airport and decided to give it a try for lunch. They have a wide variety of food options and they serve breakfast all day! Despite the restaurant looking full, we didn’t have to wait for a table or to have our orders taken. Food arrived shortly after and was delicious. Our server was Emma, very friendly and efficient. When traveling through the Gatwick airport in the future, we will definitely be coming back!

We went here for the 1st ti.e and after eating at lots of pubs/restaurants I have to say the Sunday Roast was the best. Great portion lovely flavours and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. I went with 3 friends and a small dog. Our experience was just perfect and we had 2 deserts to finish which to were just lovely.

Historically a Hungry Horse where it was hard to know what was about to be delivered from the kitchen, and the carpet was stickier than a sticky toffee pudding, The Bell has been transformed to a lovely, understated restaurant with a team looking to make every visit a joy. My family arrived today unannounced, but a table was conjoured up. I've always been a bit let down with the traditional pub Sunday roast, but with the addition of pigs in blankets, I'm left wondering if a home cooked roast is worth the hassle. Professional but unobtrusive staff and beautiful setting with lots of outdoor seating, along with a play area for the smaller guests. As long as nothing changes, The Bell will be on our list for any occasion. Thanks to all the staff.

Just visited this pub for the first time, although we have been aware of it for years. We will be visiting it again……probably very soon. We both decided on having burgers, my husband had the chicken burger with cheese, I had the bacon cheese burger, both came with fries and ‘slaw. My husband said his burger was really good, the chicken was cooked and moist, though, purely as a comment, not a complaint, it did come with bacon which wasn’t mentioned on the menu, had it, he would have asked not to have it as he is not keen on bacon. My burger was simply delicious, I can’t remember ever having a home made burger patty that tasted so good. The fries were good, the home made slaw was excellent.

I was shocked when I returned home and read such bad reviews about this place. We went for a light lunch and coffee and thought it was great - especially being able to sit in the garden. I had the croque monsieur - it was very tasty and I also ordered an EXTRA HOT Latte. So many places don't make it hot even when you ask but full marks to this place - it was perfect. If you like your coffee extra hot - go here. I have no complaints and I am a very critical person. I would definitely return.
