Very rude man in white wearing apron. Asked if he could check pancakes were fresh as last time like rubber, said thats up to the chef not me

We were treated to cream tea here, it was excellent. Sandwiches were beautifully fresh, lovely soft bread, no crusts and full of flavour and filling. Scones were lovely and a selection of mini pastries, which we brought home as we were full! Staff were all friendly and we had a lovely afternoon. Excellent value for money.

Brilliant, efficient & friendly staff. Great food choice across the board, including the best pizza’s I have tasted. Even when they are really busy, nothing is ever too much trouble. Our favourite eating destination!

Lovely friendly staff, nice coffees, quick service, decent portion sizes and very fresh side salad. We had hot pasties which were tasty.

Went on the first Saturday in December with 18 of us on a mini coach. So busy but the cafe has an excellent system in place. They find you a table and then you go to the counter and order and very soon after the delicious hot food arrives. Lovely staff who explain the system if you dont know what to do. The garden centre is fantastic - again with lovely staff and good value. Glad the poinsettias are from a UK nursery.

Had a lunch of cheesy garlic bread and BBQ chicken pizza. The former was excellent and the latter good (maybe a bit more cheese so all the toppings don't fall off). Always a good meal here.

Excellent meals and friendly staff. Simple service but efficient and clean. I am veggy and love the hulumi burger with plenty of other veg options. Prices are reasonable. Much better than so many over priced gastro pubs

Had the pancake stack with berries, normally very nice, so much so that i have told friends as i normally go in once a week. Not today only very meagre berries tough pancakes and very little syrup. Surely you don’t need a chef to create this dish , and berries are cheap and plentiful still. Very disappointing . Think i’ll stay away , as evidently the portion control isn’t working

Disappoint in the quality of ingredients used. Cheap sliced bread used in sandwiches and toasted sandwiches as premium prices are charged. Also insipid pointless side salad. This wasn’t the first time this happened and has deteriorated over past couple of years. Very poor.

Had a lovely time in the cafe with my family. The pizzas were amazing and there was a great selection of cakes to choose from. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Food was quick to come out to the table. Great service. Will definitely come back here soon.

Down from Lancashire to visit our daughter thought it would be nice to have breakfast before returning home. What a mistake. The breakfast was nothing like the photo on the website, beans were cold, the toast was like cardboard and the rest just about warm topped off with grumpy staff who clearly did not want to be there. The “food” literally gave us the sh**s all day. I would give it Zero if I could.

Long time since I visited the cafe. Changed entrance ,can’t enter from food hall,can’t enter from houseplant area had to ask a member of Longacres staff how to get in the cafe. Go to table ,notice number then you have to queue up ,No trays.Give your order and pay. Go to table and wait ! One member of staff brought our coffee Another member few minutes later brought food then few minutes another person brought cutlery and serviettes. Very long winded,by that time coffee was Luke warm. Lunch was not good. Had to exit into entrance. Will not definitely be going back and certainly won’t be recommending it to anyone. I came here with my mum and children. We found a table, it was quite busy but we managed to find a table in the corner. We had pancakes with bacon which was amazing, best I have had ever. Coffees were brought out fast. We had one missing but the manager Yasmin sorted it out quickly and was very friendly and professional. Best breakfast and really good prices for the portion size, we will be back.

I have been coming to the garden centre for years, but this was the first time I had visited the cafe. I came with a friend on a Thursday lunchtime, and it was bedlam. We had to queue for a table (all the tables were REALLY close together, so I was very twitchy about catching Covid), and it was really noisy. The table we were shown to still had rings on from previous drinks, and my friend's chair was wet (either from wiping or a spill). The plastic menus were grimy, which just added to the downmarket feel. We had toasted sandwiches, which were soggy, and had not been toasted enough, and the salad on the side was unimaginative and of basic quality. The only high point was the upbeat and efficient lady taking orders at the till, who should be commended. I doubt I will eat here again.

Perfect garden centre environment but Tables too close for comfort. The sandwiches and ciabatta fabulous I am a cake lover have tried your scones brownies, slices of victoria toffee coffee chocolate - they all look great but so dry and crumbly, literally clears your mouth of any moisture. Recipe needs a rethink or new chef if it’s the stays the same, next visit I’ll take my own from local shop for them to try/compare I do not go out to return food or eating the replacement when others are finished. This spoils the event that is supposed to be a lovely treat

We went on the weekend and the restaurant was extremely busy. Had to queue for a few minutes to place my order but the queue kept Moving and all the staff were working hard. I was greeted by a lovely lady on the till who apologised for the wait. I ordered and was informed there may be a slight delay as the food is cooked fresh to order. Within10 minutes both the breakfasts and coffees arrived. Everything was hot delicious and the quality of the bacon, sausage and egg was simply sublime! The latte was extremely well made too! Overall a very enjoyable meals.

Stood in a queue for over 15 minutes to the be told kitchen is closed and not taking food orders. Absolute joke. Country in financial mess and businesses are turning money away. Main problem I believe is since this place changed hands from the Italians that were running it as a family style business with care, personality and service to what now exists. Just another arm of Longacres with employees just earning money rather than caring, having personality and giving service.

Longacres is a wonderful garden centre, but the Cafe is a disaster & more of a canteen. Went there today for just coffee, around midday..& there was a queue..everything happens right at the end of the line..including the coffee & paying.

I visited this cafe on bank holiday weekend and it was extremely busy. Staff were very polite and explained there was a slight delay on ordering food. I ordered 2 Sandwiches with side salad each and a portion of chips between us. It arrived promptly and the sandwiches were packed and full of filling and the side salad was freshly tasty. Portion of chips were hot and plenty for 2 people to share. Have visited this cafe on several occasions and always find both service and food really good.

Visited here yesterday won't be back, cafe not that full told to sit at any table, ordered sausage roll with chips and salad together with prosciutto panini. Was given table alert pad eventually sausage and chips arrived had to ask for the salad,which was only lettuce and two bits of pepper, panini did not arrive, went up to ask for it three times and stopped the waiter as well, told it was on its way. When asked for it for last time after approximately 15-20 minutes it arrived slightly burnt underneath and tasteless. Watching other customers with the table alerts they all seemed to be making at least two trips to the counter to enquire about their food! System looks a shambles and staff dashing around does not make for a pleasant environment. Also there are signs on the menu and on the walls saying due to different cooking times the food may not arrive together so if you like eating in relays this is the place for you!

The system isn't immediately obvious - queue to be seated by a waiter. Then you go queue to order your own food?! Which is then - generally - brought to you. But to be fair, it does seem to work - very busy, but seemed quite efficient.

Ordered the Italian style ham sandwich supposedly filled with Prosciutto Cotto & Rocket, at £6.45 . What we actually got was 2 slices of supermarket bread filled with Rocket and 1 slice of processed ham which was sliced so thin you could have read a newspaper through it. This used to be a good quality cafe' serving lovely food......what happened? Will vote with our feet and not visit the cafe' again.

Visited today with my daughter ordered a panini and chips......not a complicated order...firstly the man who took the order was so miserable and hardly spoke just pointed to where I order the drinks. The food came, panini burnt one side hardly any filling, chips luke warm they had obvs just been heated up! Over priced at a cost of £15 for panini, chips and two drinks. Not a pleasant experience. I won’t be going again.

We moved to Bagshot earlier this year and have been back to the Cafe at Longacres many times - usually when we are in the mood for pizza! The pizzas are stone fires, delicious and very reasonably priced when compared to the take-away kind that come swimming in grease. The coffee and cakes are excellent too. Always a fantastic selection of treats on offer.

Visited with my mum this week, ordered a vegetable panini, chips and 2 coffees! As I didnt state the size of the coffees I got large (so large my mum couldnt lift the mug due to a muscle disease).

It is not surprising that the overall Trip Advisor score for Caffe Amore is average. It is trying to be an Italian or an Italian style eatery but fails. The bad points: I ordered Pasta Pomodoro - a simple Italian dish that is supposed to be made with a fresh tomato sauce and fresh basil.

We have been to this cafe 3 times now and each time we have been very pleased with the friendly staff excellent food and service,

I went to cafe amore expecting a reasonably priced restaurant with lite bites for lunch.

Wandering round Longacres can wear you out and so it’s always good to rest weary feet in the onsite restaurant/cafe. What I particular like about it is the fact staff never seem to change (family operated?), always have a friendly smile and seem to buzz round at 100mph (unlike staff at the majority of cafes who act as if they’d rather be elsewhere). It’s always busy but manic at weekends, which is why I guess they try to form some order by asking you to wait and be shown to a table where the waiter will put a reserved marker and hand round menus - you can then join the queue to order food (remembering your table number) and except for drinks and cakes etc, it will be brought to your table. Essentially there’s three seating areas - main/conservatory/outside. However, the main area does get noisy (and my hearing’s not the best!). Whilst tables are quickly cleared/cleaned, I do notice that floors are only cursorily swept of debris.

LOVE Caffè Amore. Always go with my mum, who travels down from Warwickshire to go to the Caffè!

Always busy, smells wonderful and staff are so friendly. Pizza is amazing - thin, crispy and totally fresh. All the sweet treats are too yummy to resist.

This was my first trip to cafe Amore. We came Christmas shopping at Longacres Garden Centre. Our server Tudor was brilliant!! Why can’t other places have customer service like this?? . We’ll definitely be back!
