Pizza Express in Surrey Heath

ordered at 5:50pm food arrived just after 7:30pm. food came stone cold. said on box “delivery time 6:21” so i can only assume food was made upon ordering and made to be ready for a delivery time of 6:21.

Not cut up no garlic butter and I ordered summer fruits and got apple juice

Ordered at 545pm and delivered at 8pm freezing food not even warm it’s like it was cooked at 545 and then left on side till it was picked up this is the second time this has happened

Food was good and OK but service was shockingly slow and poor. Full of kids birthday parties and the noise was awful. Really need to sort your service though.

Rip Off Central..!! Pizza with a BIG hole in the middle.... Customer service sucks... Customer servive at Head Office was my first point of contact... Laura Bermingham at customer service was totally useless. To get attention you need to leave a Google Review for the local restaurant...

Pizza was stone cold. Pop was luke warm. Pizza wasn’t even sliced into pieces, so I had to eat it like a frisbee. Pizza Express is my favourite pizzeria, first time I’ve had it delivered. Won’t bother again.

Flat bread was great and nice and hot, pizza was warm not hot, and not cut properly which meant instead of pulling off slices it was just chunks of pizza and staying in a hotel didn't have anything to cut it with

Pizza was stone cold!!! Rest of food cold aswell!! Delivery driver wasn’t apologetic either and the he kept food in a reusable bag for life not a proper bag to keep food warm!!! USELESS

Went for a dinner with my family, my son (3 yrs old) was very much looking forward to his pizza and was a bit hungry. So i asked one of the staff how long its gonna be for the mains? Then after few minutes ,i heard one of the staff ( lady) saying EVERYBODY ORDERED FOOD AT THE SAME TIME, IF THEY CANT WAIT THEY CAN GO HOME. I mean seriously?? I was shocked, you ask a simple question and get insulted?? never in million yrs i had imagined a well known restaurant having a very unprofessional and rude staff who has no respect and a concept of basic customer service. She ruined everything, left the restaurant feeling very much insulted, NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN. i can always go to some other place for pizza where they know how to respect people and have a smile on their face. Highly disappointed.

Would usually go to Zizzi’s but the place was shut for some reason. Went in and customer service was good, had our food too which was nice, when I arrived home 1 hour later, I had food poisoning on a horrible level, I had no other food from eating there and getting home! Sadly won’t be trusting this place again!!

Absolutely great everytime! I always go slightly further afield to go here over Wokingham as they give you crazy amounts of garlic butter (unlike Wokingham) - and everybody knows the garlic butter is the main reason to go to Pizza Express!

Every time I’ve visited this restaurant, the services just get better. Staff are so polite and attentive. Great payment options and the apps amazing. Great atmosphere and speed of service.

The pizza topping was all on one side as I think it had been dropped or incorrectly transported.

The food was cold by the time it arrived. The delivery time changed by half an hour. The value for money was poor, it was much more expensive than its equivalents and worse quality. The dough balls came wet due to condensation. The garlic butter was curdled. The pizza was hard but tasted reasonable.

Took 2 hours and its stone cold called 3 times and no awnser or refund

ordered at 16.45. receipt says delivery 17.05 and arrived atv18 46 stone cold

The Pasta quantity arrived with less than 1/4 of the usual size. It really was about 2 mouthfuls! Very poor service, Just Eat are refusing a refund. Do not recommend any of the pasta dishes for delivery. Not only that, restaurant kept pushing the time back so food arrived much later than expected.

Ordered at 5 pm delivered at 730 for the food to be cold had to re heat

Service was good, waitress was polite and very helpful. Unfortunately we will not be returning. The food was really poor. We attended for lunch, my partner had lasagna and this was crunchy and burnt with not much filling. The microwave had made top layer crunchy. I tried the chicken and chorizo, the pasta was not cooked and the meal was generally cold. The highlight was the dough balls, lovely as always.

The first waitress knew nothing about the promotion, just told us to download the app and figure it out ourselves. We asked nicely for a couple of times until she agreed to find out for us. At this stag, we should've walked out as we both didn't feel comfortable anymore. The food came quickly and was okay. The wine was terrible. It went straight to my head and gave me a massive headache. The second waitress was also very blunt, quite rude service as in general. The only helpful person was actually the restaurant manager. The waitresses just have no idea with what's going on with their work and make you feel bad trying to use the promotion. It was the first time and will be the last time we go to Pizza Express in Camberley.

Good cold and no garlic butter

Been here a few times, however last two occasions have been disappointing. I have a food allergy which I outlined on both occasions and both occasions the next day I’ve had an upset stomach. This time however my partner was suffering also from a ‘dodgy’ stomach so perhaps it was more a food preparation or cleanliness issue. Regardless of whether it’s one or the other, neither are good. We won’t be visiting again therefore.

Courier was rude at the door, due to the fact that 2 orders had been placed (this one and another one). Delivery times always get pushed back, just eat need to readjust how they estimate their delivery times!

I recently visited Pizza Express, and while I have to say the food was great, the service was shockingly poor. The staff seemed completely uninterested in their customers, making no effort to check if we were okay or if we needed anything. On multiple occasions, I had to call someone over just to get the table cleared or to order drinks. The lack of attention to basic service was honestly disappointing, and it created a pretty frustrating dining experience. Sadly, I wouldn’t return to this location again.

The food was excessively watery, and each bite felt immersed in fluids.

Had a delivery tonight. Really poor. Spicy chicken wings, advertised as 6 pieces but only 4 in the box, which had been pre-opened. The pizza itself was simply bland. Both items were stone-cold.

Pizza express is pizza express, very rarely is the food bad, very rarely is the service bad. It's cheap and cheerful, especially with the deals on the app. My only issue is how tightly packed tables are, otherwise wonderful restaurant

I visited here because I remembered eating here with a friend 18 years ago. Has the store been renovated a bit? ? I felt like the layout was a little different from the table I sat at before. Still, I really missed being able to order pizza here.

Very friendly and quick service. Food was yummy as per usual. I was charged more than the menu stated and only noticed after I'd left. Not a lot, but still.

Delivery driver pleasant, but pizza not cut with no cutlery and late because of restaurant fault. You gave me 7 chips! Are you winding me up! Abysmal.

We had our lunch at pizza express. The bbq pizza and chicken salad was so delicious. The portion was larger than expected. The staff was so friendly and also frequently cane to us about food. It was very quick service. I'll definitely visit again if got transit around there. Thank you for your service

I visited Pizza Express for lunch today with a group of other mums and our children, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The service we received was extremely poor; the waitress was very blunt and rude throughout our visit. We felt rushed and unwelcome, which made the outing unpleasant for both the adults and the children. Given this experience, we won't be returning any time soon.

Turned up freezing cold. Took over one hour 20 mins to arrive. The food was delicious after I heated it up.

This was the worst pizza I’ve ever had from Pizza Express. I went for the super size 15 inch but there was hardly any olives or ham. It was very hard/crispy and definitely not up to usual standards. It wasn’t very hot either, just slightly warm. I don’t think I will be using Pizza Express again after this experience. Very very disappointing and even worse is that it cost me nearly £28.. not impressed at all!!

Original time for pizza to be delivered was at 18:55 however kept on being extended until reached expected time of 19:30. Called pizza express who confirmed the food has been made and being kept warm due to the delivery driver excepting the job but not turning up to collect for a while. When delivered food was cold.

was seated and sat waiting for more than 20 minutes whilst waiters looked at us, walked past us multiple times and didn't even take an order for something as small as drinks. very disappointed

We went to dine in..the staff member who was first to see us didn't greet us and just lead us to the table .we wasn't given a kids menu ask a member of staff she went to get one but again didn't say a word and walked off to get a menu..we got up a walked out how rude..at least say hello and be helpful

Food was cold and we were missing drinks

We ordered 70 pizzas to takeaway on a Sunday evening (order put in in advance). The staff dealt with this huge order efficiently and really went the extra mile. They got us to send a spreadsheet of who had ordered what, and when we arrived they had named each pizza box so we could deliver the right pizza to the right person. Upon our (fairly last minute !) request, they even sliced them all for us. Brilliant service from all members of staff involved, thank you so much.

Had lunch here with a friend, first time at this location. We were seated in a dirty table, but someone came to clean it. The place was super busy, service was slightly slow but the staff was friendly. Now the food was not good at all, the new Melanzane (Al Forno) was terrible, even the frozen one from Lidl is better, way too much tomato and too watery one too, barely any cheese and tasted like nothing. The polenta fries were also very tasteless. I won't intend to go back. There are way better Italian restaurants.

Visited here on a Friday evening with work colleagues. I booked a table online earlier the same day. Our table was right next to the door which was very unfortunate because it was a cold evening. We couldn't swap tables as it was very busy. I had the gluten free dough balls to start and they were delicious with the garlic butter. I had a gluten free vegan pizza and, sadly, it was a bit bland. I also don't understand why the gluten free pizza bases have to be so much smaller than their regular pizzas? Our waitress was lovely and friendly. Although my colleagues and I had a good evening, I'm not sure I will be returning any time soon.

I ordered at 6pm and had no contact from the restaurant. I tried to call multiple times and there was no answer. It got to 8pm and still no delivery and then the app said it had been delivered which it had not. So never received. Why bother accepting the order at all? Now i’m hungry and have got to go out to find something as I don’t trust JustEat to order something else tonight. Lack of ingredients on the pizza and burnt calamari

Cubana pizza isn't nice it's too soggy for the romana base otherwise foods always fine service was ok was ignored on a few occasions 50% off pizzas great value

It took 2 hours from order to delivery! Food was warm when it arrived. Over £50 for 2 pizzas, wings and 2 garlic bread - we expected better.

Great experience as always, good food, great service. Extra attention given to our 8 year old birthday girl, without asking 🙂 Toilets are seemingly unheated though so be prepared to freeze in the winter!

I think the food is probably over priced to start with but there are always lot's of offers available if you look for them. I can recommend the ceaser salad.

Ordered from the festive menu and what an absolute rip off. Doughballs in blankets for £7.45 and you only get 4 balls! The Porchetta pizza was over £17 with very scant toppings. Very disappointing. No wonder we were the only table left at 9.30 on a Saturday night. PE are becoming very overpriced for what you get back in return. On the plus side, the staff were very friendly

Rubbish over two hours late and not as described disappointing won’t be ordering again

All the pizzas were undercooked. We had to ring and complain twice due to a 2 hour wait that kept being prolonged. Definetly not worth the money or service.

It was so late. Food was completely cold and not nice to eat. Anyway it was too late to eat any more. We would require a refund to be honest.

We made an order at 4pm and have still not recieved anything nor is the contact number being picked up. Not going to bother ordering from here again
