The best restaurants serving Other international-cuisines food in England

We ordered from the Too Good to Go app for dinner tonight, and are so disappointed in what we had. We love trying out new places but this was a let down 😔 Positives: My wife collected the food and the server was very nice and good customer service. Cons: when we got home to eat. We opened our bag and we had 5 chicken wings mix of plain battered, sweet chilli and bbq. The battered wings were very bad, no good flavour at all, dried up and lacking in chicken. They tasted like dried up flour. The sweet chilli and bbq were not nice and had a weird flavour to them. We also got given a whole bag of plain white rice which is flavourless anyway but it didn't taste fully cooked. My wife ordered & bought jollof rice separately as we really wanted some. Again lacking in flavour and the worst jollof rice we have ever had. All in all from the order we had from Too Good To Go and the jollof rice. It was definitely the worst food we've eaten and we love all foods...wouldn't reccomend or go back again unfortunately 😔

Después de habernos alojado en el Premier Inn contiguo varias veces hemos tenido desayuno y cena aquí. A menudo vamos a conciertos en el cercano Bridgewater Hall y llamamos aquí para un bocado pre concierto. Siempre hemos disfrutado de nuestra comida aquí y esta noche no es la excepción. Sin embargo, la razón por la que saco un cinco es por el fabuloso personal que tiene un trabajo difícil administrando la clientela diferente. Nunca estarán seguros de los números, o de la elección de los huéspedes de la comida de un menú extenso, pero todavía se las arreglan para servir a sus clientes con respeto y trabajar duro para asegurarse de que todos estén contentos. Van más allá. Charlotte nos sirvió sobre todo esta noche y ella está tan comprometida a llevar a cabo un buen trabajo. Excelente atención al cliente. Gracias a todos.

Excellent food here. If I say this up front, I know that I won’t forget to say it! Ask any ethnic foodie, and they will tell you that when they go out to eat food from their own ethnic heritage, the key thing they ask is whether the food they eat is better than they cook at home, whether it is tastier than Mum’s Sunday best, whether they can get the full restaurant experience. Roger’s kitchen ticks all of the boxes. Throughout the menu, there are modern twists and manifestations of traditional West Indian favourites. This should keep Caribbean heritage people happy! But the menu is targeted at food lovers from every ethnic group. Indeed, the seafood soup itself would have graced ‘The Ivy’. The starters are varied. The mains, fish, chicken, meat, flavoursome, perfectly cooked and excellently presented. The service is attentive. Roger’s kitchen is actually quite new, being on the site of a previous Caribbean restaurant, the Mango Room, but also now appears popular in its own right. We came to eat here as a family, we have been back with friends. And we will definitely be back again. Great food, great value. There is not an independent Caribbean restaurant in London that we would rather eat at. Roger’s Kitchen offers excellent modern Caribbean cuisine for the West Indian, British and International foodie. If you are travelling to London for a week, put Roger’s Kitchen on your “must eat here” list. 5 Stars.

We had a fantastic trip to the garden centre cafe. The food was amazing and beautifully presented. The specials were perfect and made us feel a see were in a much more expensive restaurant

Fantástica noche la semana pasada en Tropix. Las bebidas y la música eran geniales, el personal era increíble y realmente se preocupan por sus clientes - en la medida en que incluso me ayudaron a conseguir un taxi a casa al final de la noche cuando estaba teniendo problemas con Uber y el seguimiento para asegurarse de que había llegado a casa a salvo! ¡Muchas gracias a todo el equipo por buscar a una mujer varada sola! Lovely staff but very much self service from the bar and no real waitress service! Starter of chicken wings done three ways was excellent but so disappointed by fish and chips. The fish was so small and clearly not fully defrosted as wet and soggy! No staff asking how the meal was and no-one serving drinks once meal delivered. Need to go to bar and ask. Also have to go up to bar and pay and only then asked how meal was! Mentioned fish and apologies given. Waitress stated the the portions are usually ‘huge and hanging off sides of plate’ - not today though and just wonder if usual chef was on a night off! Used ACCOR loyalty card for 15% discount and waitress added an extra 10% for which I was grateful. Recommendation to chef: If fish not right, don’t serve and offer alternative. No one will mind!

Had dinner twice during our three night stay at the hotel. On the first occasion (a Friday) it was a very good experience with excellent service. Unfortunately not so the second time (a Sunday). It wasn't busy but everything took a long time. They were so slow with the desserts that we thought we'd been forgotten about. We decided just to get the bill but then finally the desserts arrived. However we'd finished all our drinks, it was late and they were closing, so we had to decline them. It was a shame as the food on both occasions was pretty good and the staff were very polite and eager to please (and they were very apologetic about the poor service).
