Top Hill Cribbean & English Cuisine in Ealing

THE OWNER WAS NUTS!! I did not get a chance to taste the food, but a friend recommended it as take away . Whilst passing, my brother used the toilet (he failed to seek permission) the ‘owne’ pulled a kitchen knife in an attempted to deter from the toilets. When I explained that we were reviewing the menu and my brother was using the toilet. He became aggressive and suggested my brother was a physical threat. I reassured him that was not the case and we were about to order. Despite staff in the restaurant not wearing face masks. He continued to verbally abuse us. I have never been so embarrassed! Will never use this restaurant again!!

El mejor lugar en Londres, gente muy amable, definitivamente regresará. Lo pasé muy bien con la familia.

Tenía un roti de cordero. El lugar es sencillo y amigable, con música caribeña. El roti era fresco y hecho a mano en casa.  El guiso con cordero y patata estaba perfectamente cocido. Muy sabroso. El único problema fue el precio 7, que me pareció caro para llevar y para el área.

Pedí un pollo al curry roti en súper come donde la comida fue inicialmente agradable y bien presentada. Confié en este restaurante debido al precio por 7, pensé que este restaurante debe ser bueno. En unos pocos bocados de mi roti noté que el pollo aparentemente no tenía una buena textura y decidí echar otro vistazo mientras estaba partiendo el pollo en dos, el pollo estaba rosado y poco hecho. Me decepcionó mucho porque quería que fuera un buen restaurante.

no te molestes servicio pobre. mala actitud y te rechazará si están ocupados. decepcionante ya que la comida no es mala

Excellent choice of traditional rotis and meals served here. The chicken roti was moist and well flavoured with a very rich gravy. Great sized portions and a selection of homemade Caribbean juices and punches. Only complaint was the lack off traditional condiments such as Tamrind and pepper sauce offered.

must say. I wasn't to sure at first but I had a try. an I will be going back today for some more. 👌,I hope they have cake today cos I heard it's nice.

Ordered off a delivery app and have to say that I was very impressed. The chicken was incredibly tasty as was the plantain. Thoroughly recommended and looking forward to checking out the rest of the menu.

This little spot is brilliant. The food is authentic and fresh and very well cooked. The drinks selection is interesting and the staff are very warm and friendly I must say ... even the soundtrack as you eat is fantastic. Will be visiting here a lot!

A tasty meal, portion sizes were good. Drinks pleasant though a little overpriced. If taking away, the Roti and filling can be packed separately. Parking is a little tricky, although the West Ealing station is nearby.

This is a lovely clean restaurant has a small eating area. Friendly staff and lively music playing in the background. I've only had Roti and cake from here but it tastes delicious and it's so filling I can only eat half a Roti at a time. Would highly recommend

The rotis are JUST delicious!!! However it's a pity that they're as expensive as they are. Having said that though, they are lovely and filling!! I just feel that £6 is a bit steep, when the roti doesn't come with so much as a drink thrown in, as most fast food places would likely offer at that price. I haven't been to Hilltop in quite a while though (Trip Advisor's calendar doesn't go as far back as I'd need), so things may well have changed.

We used to live in Trinidad and have found some of the Caribbean food available in London disappointing. Hilltop's food was excellent. The rotis were tasty, authentic and very generously sized. Service was friendly and we didn't have to wait long. We will definitely be returning there soon.

Nice food but extremely slow. Service was very in depth as far as product knowledge. The older gentlemen was pretty cool and the pricing seemed fair as the portions were big.

We order for a delivery. That never arrived. How they can take order which they can't deliver. very disappointing.

Just Ask app was simple and straightforward forward to use.was happy to see 20% discount for orders over £20 I ordered 3 mutton Roti. delivery time was a hour with a further 10mins added. ok. I will wait. Order arrived an hour and 30mins late. apparently the driver had a accident on his bike which I only found out by talking on line to just ask representative. A phone call from Hilltop Roti came eventually with apologies and delay time revised. ok finally order has arrived - driver sends further apologies, which is accepted. My fault with the Roti now. The portion was huge and was thinking ok this will make up for delay..as u unwrapped my mutton Roti..to my disappointment it had 6 pieces of tasteless mutton and a whole leap of potatoes. if i wanted a potatoe roti I would have ordered one..not happy at all. below is what is left. I want to support Hilltop Roti and tell my friends. so I will order again soon and see.

Had a fantastic mutton fire skin roti! Melt in your mouth meat and nice big portion size!! Cannot recommend more!! :)

Seguiré sencillo y al punto.Arriba el sabor!Parte superior!Precio superior!Valió la pena esperar, pero podría mejorarse, no es problema ya que en general todo lo demás golpeó la cima!Me encantaría ver este lugar su expansión. Los propietarios son encantadores y un padre hijo de duo.Bueno abundante comida fresca del caribe.Colina! Se golpeó la cima y para ello!!!Gracias;)

chicken roti was all potatoes mainly with curry and sugardough was also uncookedcould not eat this it was terrible i was really looking forward to it as radio kept saying how fab it was, I also asked for a salad which they did not have......

Pleasant staff: the atmosphere was good: the food: the roti was out of this world: enjoyable: bakes and fish cakes was excellent: thoroughly recommended!

Si conocer y entender de Caroni, Mayaro o St George, caminamos por el centro de San Fernando o el puerto de España, llevaron a la Agua en punto o Maracas Pigeon. La gente de Gouyave sabrán de la misma manera que entienden en Sauteurs incluso en Georgetown, todos ellos saben que pueden encontrar una colina pequeña en W13 que simplemente sabe como en casa.

Good food, good friendly service and reasonable price. Big portion size and it is a non hectic environment. We will definitely go back with the children

Good value authentic roti. Meaty, spicy and satifying. Took me back to childhood holidays in Trinidad and Tobago eating these on the beach.

Pedimos una comida para llevar una hora del almuerzo que no pudieron entregar localmente y me pidieron que recoger en 15 minutos. Cuando llegué, no había incluso empezó a preparar mi pedido. Tuve que esperar otros 15 minutos antes de que estaba listo. He estado comiendo comida caribeña desde que era un niño y sabía que esperar, pero los platos que tuvimos fueron muy soso con carne grasa de mala calidad. Sólo puedo pensar que están orientadas a los paladares más suaves de los que conocen ninguna diferencia. Muy decepcionado con gusto, calidad y servicio. Probé una vez y no regresar o recomendar.

Gorgeous food and very big portions. very nice people and lovely service. The best carrot juice and vegetarian options.

This is a great little cafe/takeaway. There's good seating inside and outside, though you would only want to sit outside to smoke. The food is very authentic, and comes in generous servings. The service is warm and courteous.

Great sized roti which was very decent value for money. Menu was varied and interesting. Superb selection of tropical juices and some banging tunes. Highly recommended.

We had a warm welcome and excellent home cooked food. We will definitely call again when we're in the area.

Lo recomiendo totalmente tratando esto. No seas tímido si no está familiarizado con comida Caribeña como el chef con entusiasmo explicar todo en tanto o tan pequeño detalle lo que necesitas. Los rotis tandoor aquí son fantásticas ... aunque quizás un poco grande para la mayoría de la gente ... que hemos compartido (con un lado) que fue más que suficiente. Genial

pequeño y acogedor restaurante pequeño. decir que poco es minúsculo tiene 3 o 4 mesas, pero la comida era deliciosa. un plato de gambas realmente fresco y una gran vegetales curry después. Todo servido con una sonrisa. Opino que el chico es un experto de pollo Jerk ya ha sido cocinar durante años dijo. totalmente recomiendo una visita. Es una pequeña llevar con unas pocas mesas, así que no esperéis increíbles alrededores pero tendrás una gran comida y servicio x
